The final ranking of robot vacuum cleaners for 2024: the top 10 flagships
Hello to all readers of the project! In the final days of the outgoing year, I decided to compile a final ranking of robot vacuum cleaners for 2024. First and foremost, I wanted to summarize which robot was ultimately the best and, ultimately, which brand has done the most thorough work on its products. Furthermore, a brief overview of the flagship models included in the ranking will help you choose a robot vacuum cleaner in the first quarter of 2025. After all, all subsequent new products will be presented at upcoming exhibitions and should not be expected until spring. The TOP 10 includes only those robot vacuum cleaners that I have tested, in which I have confidence, and which, in fact, are among the top ten tested robot vacuum cleaners in overall rating robovac.washerhouse.comAnd it already includes over 170 models from several dozen manufacturers. So, let's get started!
Top 10 Robot Vacuum Cleaners of 2024
DreameBot X40 Ultra
Important features:
- Price: $1,200-$1,400.
- Very high power (12,000 Pa / 12 mm).
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight.
- Remote home monitoring.
- Connects to sewerage and cold water supply.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- Sweeps out trash from corners.
- Napkin exit with scrolling.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Raising the turbo brush and side brush.
- The turbo brush does not tangle up wool and hair / can self-clean from hair (optional).
- Full warranty and service.
Definitely the best robot vacuum cleaner of 2024 - DreameBot X40 Ultra Complete, which went on sale in August. Briefly, its main feature is a retractable side brush for thoroughly sweeping debris from corners. Additionally, a cleaning cloth extends to the baseboard for wet cleaning. On the plus side, the robot comes with an impressive set of spare dust collectors, and you can also purchase a special turbo brush with blades that self-cleans hair and fur.
Speaking of intelligence, a precise object recognition system with backlighting has been implemented. Thanks to a camera, the robot not only avoids objects on the floor but can also transmit an image to a smartphone screen for remote home monitoring. Its performance is very high, both on paper and in reality.
And now the station. The DreameBot X40 Ultra Complete self-cleans its dust bin, washes its cloths with hot water, dries them with warm air, and automatically mixes in detergent. The station can also be connected to a sewer or water supply by purchasing the appropriate module, and the robot has a unique feature: the cloths can be removed from the station for dry cleaning without the risk of getting anything wet. Cleaning quality is high on a variety of surfaces. The controls are convenient and intuitive. The brand is reliable and comes with an official warranty and service.
I've covered all the pros and cons in detail in the review. Based on its feature set, design, and testing results, I believe this is a top-tier option for 2024.
Roborock Qrevo Curv
Important features:
- Price: $1,000-$1,200.
- High power (18,500Pa/8mm).
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight.
- Remote home monitoring.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Sweeps out trash from corners.
- Moving the napkin to the baseboard.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Raising the turbo brush in floor washing mode.
- Passing thresholds up to 4 cm high.
- The turbo brush does not tangle up fur and hair.
- The "Hello, Rocky" branded voice assistant
- Full warranty and service.
Silver in the final ranking goes to the one released in November 2024 Roborock Qrevo CurvThe robot is similar to the flagship model in many ways. It has a retractable side brush, a unique turbo brush that doesn't tangle hair, and round rotating pads, one of which extends to the edge of the body.
On paper, the power is much higher; in reality, it's slightly weaker, but still powerful. It has an object recognition system with backlighting, remote home monitoring, and even an off-road function. When it detects thresholds up to 4 cm high, the robot vacuum rises to overcome them. And, of course, there's the cleaning station. Here, the cloths are washed with hot water and dried with warm air. The dust bin also self-cleans.
In home tests, the Roborock Qrevo Curv performed very similarly in cleaning performance, but it lacks features that I value most, such as automatic detergent dispensing and plumbing connections. At least, the current commercially available station doesn't. That's why it only placed second. However, the robot vacuum itself is produced by an equally reputable brand and boasts high reliability. Roborock fans likely consider it the best robot vacuum of 2024, and for many, that may indeed be true. It all comes down to personal preference.
ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S COMBO
Important features:
- Price: $900-$1,100.
- High power (11000Pa/10mm).
- Robot vacuum cleaner and upright vacuum cleaner in one station.
- Identifying objects on the floor.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Connects to sewerage and cold water supply.
- Moving the napkin to the baseboard.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Turbo brush protection from hair and fur.
- YIKO branded voice assistant
- Availability of warranty and service.
A new one burst into the top three at the very last moment ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S COMBO, which I received for review just at the end of December. It's a unique combination of a premium robot vacuum with an all-in-one station and an upright vacuum located on the same station. This means a single device can be used for both automatic cleaning and upright cleaning in areas not intended for robotic use. The robot vacuum itself is powerful, equipped with an object detection system, a proprietary turbo brush with anti-tangle protection, and two round cleaning cloths, one of which extends to the edge of the unit.
At the station, the cleaning cloths are washed with hot water and dried with warm air. Like its competitors, it has a self-cleaning dust bin. The station can also be connected to a sewer or water supply by purchasing a separate module. In ECOVACS tests, the DEEBOT T30S COMBO demonstrated high-quality dry and wet cleaning. The object avoidance system is weaker, but it nonetheless helps the robot more than it harms it. It comes with a warranty and service from official distributors, as well as a fully customized, intuitive app. Therefore, the bronze medal is well-deserved, and the robot is definitely recommended.
DreameBot L30 Ultra
Important features:
- Price: $900-$1,200
- High power (7300Pa/10mm).
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight.
- Remote home monitoring.
- Connects to sewerage and cold water supply.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- The napkin extends to the edge.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- The "OK, Dreame" branded voice assistant
- Availability of warranty and service.
In fourth place is DreameBot L30 Ultra, which, despite being released in the fall of 2023, still competes successfully with new products from other brands. The robot is equipped with a silicone turbo brush, which makes it easier to remove hair and pet hair. Two round cloths are located behind the brush, one of which extends to the edge of the body. High suction power is claimed, confirmed in tests. A system of cameras and sensors with backlighting is installed for accurate object detection on the floor, as well as remote home monitoring.
At the DreameBot L30 Ultra station, it washes its cloths with warm water, dries them with warm air, and automatically adds detergent to the clean water tank. It also features a self-cleaning dust bin, the option to install a module for connecting to utility lines, and a detachable cloth function at the station. The proprietary mobile app, available in Russian, makes operation convenient and intuitive. The cleaning quality is high, covering both debris collection on various surfaces and floor cleaning. And, of course, warranty support from authorized dealers is included.
I'll add that the DreameBot L30 Ultra went on sale at the same time as its twin brother in white DreameBot L20 Ultra CompleteIt has slightly reduced functionality, but better equipment. I've covered the differences in separate reviews of these robots. Both are contenders for fourth place in the final 2024 rankings.
Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
Important features:
- Price: $1,100-$1,300.
- The power was not confirmed in tests (10,000 Pa / 4 mm)
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight.
- Remote home monitoring.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- Sweeps out trash from corners.
- Additional napkin at the edge.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Raising the turbo brushes.
- Two silicone turbo brushes.
- The "Hello, Rocky" branded voice assistant
- Availability of warranty and service.
Another Roborock rounds out the top 5. This time, it's a model from the flagship S-series— Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, which went on sale in the summer of 2024. It features two silicone turbo brushes and a cleaning module that differs from the trendy round mops—a vibrating straight cloth, next to which is a small round cloth to eliminate the blind spot between the edge of the main cloth and the baseboard. The idea was a resounding failure, with many buyers not appreciating this floor cleaning technology. Furthermore, the high power claimed on paper was not borne out in tests.
Nevertheless, the robot cleans efficiently in domestic environments, accurately identifies objects on the floor thanks to a system of cameras and backlit sensors, and is easy to operate. The remote home monitoring feature via the active camera is also worth mentioning. The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra station self-empties the dust bin, washes the cloths with warm water, and dries them with warm air. It even features automatic detergent mixing. However, the station sold on the market cannot be connected to a sewer or water supply. This is another drawback, and as a result, it only placed fifth.
Roborock Qrevo Master
Important features:
- Price: $850-$1,100.
- Increased power (10,000 Pa / 6 mm)
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight.
- Remote home monitoring.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Sweeps out trash from corners.
- Moving the napkin to the baseboard.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Raising the turbo brushes.
- Two silicone turbo brushes.
- The signature voice assistant "Hello, Rocky".
The rating of robot vacuum cleaners for the end of 2024 continues with the model Roborock Qrevo Master, which also became known closer to summer. In my opinion, it's the best value in the lineup in terms of price and functionality. It features an object recognition system with backlighting and remote home monitoring. The cleaning module features two silicone turbo brushes, a retractable side brush for sweeping debris out of corners, and two round cloths with one extending to the baseboard. Its increased power is sufficient for household cleaning.
At the Roborock Qrevo Master station, it self-cleans, washes its cleaning cloths with hot water, and dries them with warm air. There's no drain connection or automatic detergent refill. What's even less pleasant is that this robot vacuum isn't officially available on the market. Global versions are sold on various marketplaces, but this version lacks Russian voice prompts and has a dubious warranty, which puts many people off. However, the robot vacuum itself cleans well on a variety of surfaces and is cheaper than its peers higher up in the top 10. Overall, it's a happy medium, but not for everyone.
DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat
Important information:
- Price: $700-$900.
- High power (7000Pa/10mm)
- Object recognition (AI) without backlight.
- Remote home monitoring.
- Connects to sewerage and cold water supply.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Automatic mixing of detergent
- The napkin extends to the edge.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Availability of warranty and service.
A similar title of optimal in price and functionality was received by DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra HeatA review of this device was published back in May 2024. It's similar in many ways to the flagship DreameBot X40 Ultra Complete, even visually, but there are still differences. Whether to pay extra for it is up to each individual to decide. Key features include the lack of a retractable side brush, a detachable cleaning cloth, and a camera light, compared to the top-ranked model. Its power is also slightly weaker, but still very high. However, none of this prevents the robot from cleaning effectively on a variety of surfaces.
It also features an object recognition system with remote home monitoring. It also features a silicone turbo brush, which can be replaced with a bladed brush. Wet cleaning is performed using two round pads, one of which extends to the edge. The station washes the pads with automatic detergent mixing, dries with warm air, and self-cleanses the dust container. The station can also be connected to a sewer and water supply by purchasing the appropriate module. The result is a top-of-the-line solution at a reasonable price, especially during sales. It's an excellent option for those who can't or don't want to overpay for flagship solutions but still want advanced features.
Roborock Qrevo MaxV
Important information:
- Price: $800-$1,200.
- High power (7000Pa/8mm).
- Object recognition (AI) with backlight.
- Remote home monitoring.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- The napkin extends to the edge.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Raising the turbo brush.
- The "Hello, Rocky" branded voice assistant
- Low noise level.
- Availability of warranty and service.
The last of the Roboroks in this ranking is Roborock Qrevo MaxV, an alternative to the top-ranked Master version. It went on sale a little earlier, in the spring. It also features an object recognition system with a backlight and remote home monitoring, as well as two round cleaning pads with a side-sliding holder. The main difference is that the Qrevo MaxV has a single silicone turbo brush and no side brush for corner cleaning. This doesn't significantly affect cleaning performance, but the robot actually becomes more powerful, as aerodynamic losses have been minimized.
The controls are simple and convenient, thanks to the proprietary app in Russian. Cleaning performance is good. Most importantly, it comes with a full warranty and service support, and voice notifications are integrated in Russian, as the robot vacuum is sold in a Russian-language version. Ultimately, it's better than the Master in some ways, and inferior in others. I've highlighted the pros and cons of each robot based on my testing in detailed reviews. This will help you make a purchase decision.
Ecovacs Deebot T30 PRO Omni
Important information:
- Price: $750-$900.
- High power (11000Pa/10mm).
- Identifying objects on the floor.
- Connects to sewerage and cold water supply.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- The napkin extends to the edge.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Turbo brush protection against hair tangling.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Closer to the end of the list is located ECOVACS DEEBOT T30 PRO OMNI, which went on sale around mid-2024. The robot itself is identical to its top-3 counterpart in design and specifications. It features the same object detection system, cleaning module, signature turbo brush, and other features.

Xiaomi Mijia M40
Important information:
- Price: $500-$650.
- Very high power (12,000 Pa / 14 mm).
- Identifying objects on the floor.
- Connects to sewerage and cold water supply.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Drying napkins with warm air.
- Sweeps out trash from corners.
- Moving the napkin to the baseboard.
- Lifting napkins on the carpet.
- Turbo brush with knives for cutting hair.
And finally, the TOP-10 robot vacuum cleaners of 2024 are closed by the flagship robot vacuum cleaner from Xiaomi, which was announced in early October - Xiaomi Mijia M40As early as November, the first owners began raving about this device, and for good reason. At half the price of flagship models from renowned brands, this robot vacuum boasts virtually the same features and capabilities. It features a retractable side brush, a turbo brush with blades that cut through tangled hair and fur, two round cloths with edge-sliding functionality, and even an object detection system on the bumper.
Plus, the station is just as capable: it washes cloths with hot water, dries with warm air, self-empties the robot's waste container, and connects to the sewer and water supply via a special module. It all seems good at first glance, but it's no wonder its top-tier competitors are cheaper.
The Xiaomi Mijia M40 has significantly inferior build quality. It lacks a carpet sensor and has a weak object detection system, resulting in odd behavior on carpets. It also has less extensive functionality and an English-language app. Furthermore, there are no official representatives, so the warranty is limited to local sellers. However, in terms of cleaning performance, many less-spoiled users won't notice a difference compared to its more expensive competitors, and that's true. In everyday use, the difference is minimal. Moreover, the Xiaomi Mijia M40 demonstrated superior suction power at the booth. So, it definitely makes sense for those who understand what they're buying and the nuances involved. In fact, all of these were outlined in the review.
Comparison of the best robot vacuum cleaners of 2024
So, we've reviewed the 10 best robot vacuum cleaners as of the end of December 2024. Finally, as promised, I've compiled a table with a detailed comparison of the top 10's key parameters. It includes specifications, features, and even the results of my own tests:

With this information, you can decide for yourself what's most important to you. I also recommend checking out detailed reviews of the models you've chosen. These reviews cover more details and include all the tests, so you can see each robot in action.
So, we've reviewed the best robot vacuum cleaners available in Russia at the end of 2024. This is an important point, as the global market is full of exciting new products, some of which are either not yet officially available or not intended for our market at all. All 10 robot vacuum cleaners are easily available to order, and almost all come with an official warranty.
Finally, I recommend watching the video version of the rating:

I would like to know which of these robots can drive through an in-floor convector.
