The best robot vacuum cleaners from $400 to $500The best robot vacuum cleaners from $400 to $500

Hello to all readers of the project! This rating will review the best robot vacuum cleaners under $500 in 2023. In my opinion, this is the final price range, after which the cost of a robot is no longer as important as its efficiency and functionality. This means that, as a rule, budgets are unlimited and only the best models on the market are chosen. However, the $500 price point is still limited, so as not to overpay and to try to find a model that is practically identical to premium robots priced around $1,000. Such robots do exist, albeit few in number. I've compiled the six best robot vacuum cleaners that you can choose for a budget of $500 and get maximum functionality and autonomy. So, let's get started!

Prices listed in stores are constantly changing, so it's best to double-check by clicking on the relevant links!

With increased suction power, the Dreame Bot L10 Prime should be capable of high-quality vacuuming, even on carpets. Overall, this is a robot vacuum cleaner with good navigation, primarily for high-quality wet cleaning over large areas, from a proven, reliable brand. Moreover, during sales, the price is closer to 40,000 rubles (about $50,000), making it a very attractive offer.

Lidar is responsible for navigation. The cleaning module consists of a side and center brush. Two rotating round pads are installed at the rear. The pads don't lift on carpets, so I would recommend this robot vacuum for cleaning hard floors. The proprietary app offers a wide range of features. In terms of cleaning quality, the robot is perfectly suited for home use, effectively picking up debris and thoroughly cleaning large areas. It even features a Y-shaped route, which improves the quality of wet cleaning.

There were some comments, but in any case, a lidar and a combined station with a budget of $400-500 is already very good.

Pros Cons
Station for washing and drying napkins, self-cleaning dust collector The napkins do not lift when driving onto carpets.
Y-shaped traffic pattern There is no water tank in the robot.
High-quality floor cleaning for large areas Doesn't clean medium pile carpets well

Lydsto W2

This robot also features a self-cleaning dust bin and a cloth wash function with subsequent warm-air drying. Lidar is used for navigation. The cleaning module features TWO side brushes, which may be a plus for many. They work in tandem with the turbo brush. Two rotating microfiber cloths are located behind the brush. Unfortunately, they don't lift up on carpets. The robot has a wide range of functions and demonstrated excellent cleaning results in tests. Moreover, if you remove the cloth holders, the Lydsto W2 can even clean carpets effectively.

At this price, my criticisms are minimal, but I'd still recommend the Lydsto W2 if you don't have carpeted floors, so it can effectively vacuum and mop large areas. Removing and installing the cleaning pads manually isn't very convenient, so the top-rated Xiaomi model makes more sense in this case.

Pros Cons
Station for washing and drying napkins, self-cleaning dust collector The napkins do not lift when driving onto carpets.
Two side brushes There is no water tank in the robot.
High-quality floor cleaning for large areas Afraid of black carpeting
