The BEST Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaners of 2023: Top 10 for Every Budget

Hello to all readers of this project! This rating reviews the best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners of 2023. The top 10 models range in price, and therefore differ in features and purposes. A brief overview of features, as well as pros and cons, will help you choose the best option for your needs and budget. I also compared five top Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners, and at the end of the video, I shared my opinion on which Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner to choose in 2023. So, let's get started!
Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner Ratings 2023
Xiaomi Mijia OMNI 1S (B116CN)
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
- Suction power up to 4000 Pa.
- Cleaning area up to 200 sq.m.
- Dust collector 350 ml.
- The robot's water tank is 80 ml.
- Tanks in the station: 2.5 +2.5 l.
- Bag in the station: 2.5 l.
- Station dimensions: 423*340*568 mm.
- Price: ≈$500 (≈500-550$)
The best robot vacuum cleaner of 2023 is still Xiaomi Mijia OMNI 1S, which was the leader at the end of 2022.
The reason is simple: the company hasn't released anything more interesting in a year. Now you're probably wondering, "What about the Xiaomi Mijia OMNI 2?!" But be patient, I'll tell you more about it later and even compare these robots.
The Xiaomi Mijia OMNI 1S isn't just the company's flagship model, it's also one of the best robot vacuum cleaners under $500, or $500-$550 at the exchange rate at the time of writing! The robot is equipped with a top-of-the-line station that washes cloths, dries them with hot air, and self-cleans the dust bin. The station can even be connected to a sewer or water supply. The robot itself also lives up to its reputation as a leader – it boasts increased power, high-quality dry and wet cleaning, even has an object detection system and a host of useful features.
Overall, the story could go on for a long time, so I recommend watching a separate review on the channel. If we're talking about the best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner of 2023, for now, it's still the Xiaomi Mijia OMNI 1S.
Xiaomi MIjia OMNI 2 (C102CN)
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
- Suction power up to 6000 Pa.
- Cleaning area up to 200 sq.m.
- Dust collector 350 ml.
- Water tank in the robot: absent.
- Tanks in the station: 4 +4 l.
- Bag in the station: 2.5 l.
- Station dimensions: 423*340*568 mm.
- Price: ≈$440-$500 (≈$470-$540)
But the silver medalist of our rating is the new Xiaomi MIjia OMNI 2, the price of which is slightly lower and is in the range of $440-$500 or $470-$540.
The only improvement over its predecessor is the new baseboard cleaning feature, which solves the problem of the blind spot between the edge of the cleaning cloth and the baseboard. That's about it. The increased power of 6000 Pa hasn't been proven in practice. The design of both the robot and the station has been significantly reduced in cost. The carpet sensor, wall sensor, hot air drying, and even the water tank in the robot itself have been removed. The object detection system has also become noticeably worse. The station is just as effective: it features self-cleaning, a cloth wash, and a drain connection. It's just that drying is now done with room-temperature air, which is rather underdrying.
But don't be too quick to despair if you've already ordered or are planning to purchase the robot—its cleaning performance on hard surfaces has actually improved slightly, thanks to the new floor cleaning mode, which seems to have been deliberately omitted from the first-generation Mijia OMNI. If you don't have carpets or low-pile carpets, this model will clean just as well. And, again, the robot is good and deserves attention. It's just that claims to be the best are debatable.
Xiaomi Mijia Omni Robot Vacuum-Mop (B101CN)
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
- Suction power up to 4000 Pa.
- Cleaning area up to 200 sq.m.
- Dust collector 350 ml.
- The robot's water tank is 80 ml.
- Tanks in the station: 2.5 +2.5 l.
- Bag in the station: 2.5 l.
- Station dimensions: 423*340*568 mm.
- Price: ≈$440-$490 (≈$460-$530)
Bronze medalist of the rating - Xiaomi Mijia Omni Robot Vacuum-Mop B101CN.
I'm not sure it's worth buying in 2023 simply because the price is on par with the previous two contenders, and its only real advantages are stronger suction and better build quality compared to the stripped-down Mijia 2 Omni. In tests, it was able to suck up debris from a 10mm gap, while the two previous contenders achieved a 4mm gap. It's more powerful, that's a fact. Therefore, its inclusion in the ranking is more for those who already own this model, or who, for whatever reason, decided to buy it.
The station is the same as the 1S, except it doesn't connect to a sewer or water supply. The robot is also a 1-in-1 design, with the same sensors, cleaning module, and object detection system. It cleans very well on both hard floors and carpets. Floor cleaning is just as good, but, like the 1S, there's no baseboard cleaning mode.
Overall, it's not bad, but it's inferior to the Mijia OMNI 1S in terms of station and the OMNI 2 in terms of wall-washing, so it's only superior in power. I'd also like to point out the numerous negative reviews about this model regarding issues; there's plenty of information you can explore. Therefore, in reality, it scores higher in the overall rating than the new version, precisely because of its build quality. In reality, the situation is debatable.
Xiaomi Mijia Self Cleaning Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro (B113CN)
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
- Suction power up to 4000 Pa.
- Cleaning area up to 200 sq.m.
- Dust collector 430 ml.
- Water tank in the robot: absent.
- Tanks in the station: 4 + 4 l.
- Station dimensions: 421*340*438 mm.
- Price: ≈4$70 (≈500$)
The new Xiaomi Mijia Self Cleaning Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro continues the ranking. And here, again, the situation is twofold.
As far as I understand, the robot vacuum cleaner itself is identical in design and functionality to the Mijia OMNI 1S, but the station has been stripped of its self-cleaning dust bin, while still featuring cloth washing, hot-air drying, and plumbing connections. Surprisingly, the price hasn't dropped much. At the time of writing, it starts at $470 on AliExpress, and it states that the plumbing module must be purchased separately. So, it's unclear why the self-cleaning feature is omitted at the same price.
If the price included the module, it would be an attractive offer. However, you'd have to wait at least $400 to get the best deal. For that price, it's definitely worth considering and earning fourth place in the rankings. For cleaning performance and features, consider the Mijia Omni 1S. Overall, the robot itself is a good choice.
Xiaomi Mijia Self Cleaning Robot Vacuum Mop 2 (C101)
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh.
- Suction power up to 5000 Pa.
- Cleaning area up to 200 sq.m.
- Dust collector 430 ml.
- Water tank in the robot: absent.
- Tanks in the station: 4 + 4 l.
- Station dimensions: 402*428*420 mm.
- Price: ≈$310-350 (≈$335-375).
The Xiaomi Mijia Self Cleaning Robot Vacuum Mop 2 rounds out the top 5 best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners. It's a simplified version of the Pro model, and it's much more worth considering for the simple reason that its price ranges from $310 to $350.
For this price, you get a robot vacuum with lidar, two rotating mops that can rise for dry cleaning, and a station for washing and drying cloths. Drying the cloths is primitive, using room-temperature air. And the station can't be connected to a water supply. Assembly is just as simplified as that of the Omni 2. That's where the downsides end, and the result is an affordable robot vacuum for high-quality wet cleaning over large areas. During sales, the price is very attractive, and at this price, there are simply no other robots with a washing station.
Xiaomi Mijia 3S (B108CN)
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 2900 mAh.
- Suction power up to 4000 Pa.
- Cleaning area up to 150 sq.m.
- Dust collector 450 ml.
- Water tank 190 ml.
- Price: ≈$260-$300 (≈280-320$).
If your budget is limited to 30,000 rubles and for some reason you don't want a robot vacuum cleaner with a cloth washing station, but you're still interested in a more or less decent wet cleaning solution, consider the Xiaomi Mijia 3S.
I haven't personally tested this robot, but I have tested its double. Dreame Bot L10s Pro, which is reviewed on the channel. Overall, it's a decent model. It has an object detection system, lidar, increased power, and good cleaning performance. However, keep in mind that the rotating mats, unlike regular straight ones, require more frequent washing as they accumulate dirt. Therefore, I would recommend the Xiaomi Mijia 3S primarily for dry and wet cleaning of areas up to 50-60 square meters, and especially if there is at least one carpet on the floor.
Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro (MJSTS1)
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh
- Suction power up to 4000 Pa
- Cleaning area up to 250 sq.m.
- Dust collector 550 ml
- Combined container 300+260 ml
- Price: ≈$220-$280 (≈$235-$300)
If your budget is up to $250, you need a Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner, and you need a precise system for avoiding objects, the best option is the Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro.
This is actually one of the best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners I have tested. Only The first version was on review, and the second one has already been released. They added a vibration wiper during wet cleaning and electrolysis of water in the tank. But that's not the main thing. The important thing is that the robot vacuum cleaner is actually equipped with artificial intelligence and very accurately recognizes objects on the floor, marking them with corresponding icons on the map. The quality of both dry and wet cleaning is excellent. Ideally, I would recommend this model for cleaning hard surfaces.
Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum-Mop Tangle-free Brush (STFCR01SZ)
Specifications:
The next participant in the rating is - Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum-Mop Tangle-free BrushIt should be priced in line with the previous model, around $250-$300, but it's not always available on AliExpress. A global version of this robot, called the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum S10T, is often found, but its price tag is incomparable to the Chinese version, topping $400.
So, if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that's designed to remove pet hair and other fur, and you want to make maintenance as easy as possible, definitely consider this model. Its key feature is a turbo brush with blades that self-cleans hair and fur as it cleans. It's an excellent solution, and it's surprising that more brands haven't adopted it, and Xiaomi hasn't included this brush in other models either. The robot also boasts increased power and excellent cleaning performance, making it a very worthy choice for cleaning pet hair and fur.
Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10 B106GL
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 5200 mAh
- Suction power up to 8000 Pa
- Cleaning area up to 180 sq.m.
- Dust collector 450 ml
- Water tank 250 ml
- Price: ≈$250–$300 (≈$270-$320)
For a budget of around $200, I would also recommend paying attention to the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10.
Unlike the previous entries in this list, this one is already global, so the app works better, everything is in Russian, and there's a warranty. Overall, for a budget of under $200, this is one of the best robot vacuums of 2023. Don't expect any major design innovations. It's simple: dry and wet cleaning, a standard cloth behind the turbo brush, and lidar. But at least the Y-shaped movement pattern has been implemented, which means the robot cleans floors slightly better. Many people have praised the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10, so I'm sure it's definitely worth considering for the price.
Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Lite
Specifications:
- Li-Ion battery 3200 mAh
- Suction power up to 4000 Pa
- Cleaning area up to 150 sq.m.
- Dust collector 300 ml
- Water tank 200 ml
- Price: ≈$200 (≈$215)
Rounding out the best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners of 2023 is the most affordable model that's worth considering. It's the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Lite. Prices start at $130.
For this price, you get a robot vacuum cleaner with a camera for navigation. It stores maps in its memory, allows you to customize cleaning parameters, and select desired cleaning zones via the app. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Lite has a thinner body, making it more likely to fit under furniture where a lidar model can't. And, admittedly, a camera is more reliable than a lidar when it comes to repairs. The camera, price, and lower height are the three key features of this model. Therefore, if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner under $150, which is simply the bottom of the market, I recommend considering this model.
Comparison of the 5 best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners
So, we've reviewed the best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners of 2023. As promised, in the table I'm comparing the key parameters to help you choose between the five best models, and, ultimately, to fully understand their differences:
| OMNI 1S | OMNI 2 | OMNI B101CN | Mop 2 Pro | Mop 2 | |
| Connection to the sewerage system | Yes | Yes | No | Yes | No |
| Adding detergent | Yes (via optional module) | Yes (via optional module) | No | Yes (via optional module) | No |
| Washing napkins | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Water tanks | 2.5 + 2.5 l | 4 l + 4 l | 2.5 + 2.5 l | 4 l + 4 l | 4 l + 4 l |
| Drying napkins with hot air | Yes | No | Yes | Yes | No |
| Self-cleaning of the dust container | Yes | Yes | Yes | No | No |
| Object Identification System | Yes (good) | Yes (bad) | Yes (good) | Yes (good) | Yes (bad) |
| Declared power | 4000 Pa | 6000 Pa | 4000 Pa | 4000 Pa | 5000 Pa |
| Power tests by robovac.washerhouse.com | 4/10 | 4/10 | 10/10 | 2-4/10 | 2/10 |
| Washing the floor along the baseboard | No | Yes | No | No | No |
| Carpet and wall sensor | Yes | No | Yes | Yes | No |
You can see that the Omni 1s is inferior in reality only in power, tank capacity, and the lack of a baseboard cleaning feature. However, out of the 10 most important parameters, in my opinion, this model has 7. I'm not including the stated suction power, but I've included it for you. The Mijia 2 Pro also has 7 parameters, but the lack of self-cleaning is very critical for me personally, given its similar price. The B101CN and Omni 2 each have 6 parameters, while the Mop 2 has only 2. I hope this clearly explains why I ranked these robots this way.
Which Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner should you choose in 2023?
As for the question of which Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner is best to choose in 2023, here's the situation I've come up with:
- If I were choosing the best robot vacuum without considering budget, I'd choose the Omni 1S if I have carpets, but I'd only consider the Omni Mijia Omni B101CN for cleaning only hard floors if I have carpets that require thorough vacuuming, but still have a powerful wet mopping feature. However, it's probably best not to consider it at the end of 2023, and consider other brands if I'm not satisfied with the first two robots.
- With a budget of around $400, Xiaomi currently lacks any noteworthy robots, and my only hope is for the Xiaomi Mijia Self Cleaning Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro (B113CN) to drop in price. Otherwise, I'd choose a robot from a different brand.
- For $250–$300, the Xiaomi Mijia Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuum Mop 2 is a very good option if you need high-quality wet cleaning over large areas. Despite all the shortcomings of this model, the robot is truly impressive. If a cleaning station for cleaning wipes isn't as important, consider the smart and attentive Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro, the practical Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum-Mop Tangle-Free Brush for cleaning pet hair, or the versatile Xiaomi Mijia 3S.
- For anything under $250, I'd recommend considering either the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10 or, again, other brands, like Roborock and Dreame. They have good alternatives in their lineup for the same price.
- In the budget segment under $150, the only decent option is the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Lite. You might also consider the Mijia 3C if it's available in that price range, but before you do, check out my review; it's a highly controversial model.
On this note, I'd like to conclude my review of the best Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners. I'd be grateful if you share this video on social media, subscribe to the channel, and leave your thoughts in the comments. A lot of work went into this, and I'd be grateful to know how you liked the material.
Finally, I recommend watching the video version of the rating:
