Firstly, there's no cleaning cloth extending to the edge of the body. However, the manufacturer has offered an alternative: the robot rotates backward as it moves around the perimeter. This means the cleaning cloths extending to the rear edge of the body clean the floor right up to the baseboard. Secondly, there's no water heating in the station. Another difference is the central brush, which is made of bristles and petals rather than silicone. However, you can optionally purchase a silicone brush or even a brush with blades. Since all five robots are identical in design and have identically sized turbo brushes, they are compatible.

Otherwise, the robot is just as powerful, carefully navigating around objects on the floor and cleaning efficiently on a variety of surfaces. The station, as with the older models, is fully charged. Ecovacs has been ranked among the best robot vacuum cleaners in 2023 with two flagship models. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Pro beat his predecessor by one point.

This robot has a D-shaped body, which improves corner cleaning. The lidar sensor is hidden inside the body, allowing for a slightly shorter height. A front-mounted camera allows for precise tracking of floor objects and remote home monitoring. The robot cleans using a side and center brush, as well as two rotating microfiber cloths. Speaking of the cleaning module, the robot is equipped with a silicone turbo brush and two rotating cloths that automatically lift up on carpets. In 2023, this model was updated with a new mode that cleans floors along the baseboards by rotating the body, like its competitors. This mode has become more effective, which is a plus. These are fully adapted robots that are officially sold through local distributors.

While the Dreame Bot L20 and L30 are certainly better in 2023, Roborock shouldn't be discounted either. They're just as reliable, powerful, functional, and autonomous. It's just that, for some reason, they didn't pack all the cutting-edge features into one model to seriously compete with the Dreame.

The Dreame X-series is a good option if you want to save a little money and still get the same functionality and cleaning performance. In some cases, savings can reach 20-30%, and considering the cost of the robots, this is a very compelling argument in favor of the Chinese Dreame.

The situation with Ecovacs is also ambiguous. These robots actually perform better at removing dirt, but this is due to the fact that the robots themselves are heavier, and the wipes press harder on the floor. However, the lack of localization and somewhat limited functionality make them less distinctive than their competitors.

Ultimately, I can say that the top two models in the ranking have a significant lead over their competitors, which is entirely justified given their capabilities, but the remaining models are also practically on par in many respects.
