The Best New Robot Vacuums of 2023: Top 10 New Products Coming Soon

Hello to all readers of this project! In this collection, I'll tell you about the new robot vacuum cleaners of 2023, which will soon be available for sale. Some of them have already been announced, while others you probably haven't even heard about. So, I've compiled complete information on six new products, flagship models from various companies, as well as four more robots that are already known about, but don't have enough information to warrant a full announcement. Nevertheless, you'll certainly be interested to hear about their release. I'd be grateful if you'd appreciate my efforts by subscribing and liking after watching the video. So, let's get started!
Dreame Bot X10 Ultra
One of the most anticipated robot vacuums of 2023 is the new Dreame Bot X10 Ultra. It's now available to pre-order from select Chinese retailers, as well as local orders. Prices range from $820-950, or $1100-1250. For this price, you'll get a robot vacuum with a self-cleaning station and a rinsing pad.
The flagship has received a number of important updates: the active camera for object recognition on the floor and remote home monitoring is equipped with LED lighting, so the object avoidance feature will now work correctly even in complete darkness. The robot's cleaning module remains unchanged—it consists of two rotating pads that can lift up on carpets, as well as a side and center brush. However, there's one important detail: the center brush can now lift up when the robot detects puddles or stains.
The station has received the most updates. Firstly, it can now be connected to both sewer and water lines. Whether this is optional or included is unclear. Secondly, the clean and dirty water tanks, as well as the waste bag, have been enlarged. The station is now larger, but it's worth the extra space. Thirdly, the robot vacuum can now detach the cleaning cloth holders from the station, allowing for a full dry cleaning without the need for cleaning cloths. If you have medium-pile carpets, this completely eliminates the risk of them getting wet. Run the robot dry over the entire area first, and then run a second time with the cleaning cloths, with the carpet-traversing mode enabled. Furthermore, the station sterilizes the water and automatically adds cleaning solution. In short, cleaning becomes as autonomous as possible.
The robot vacuum cleaner will be sold in two configurations: the Dreame Bot X10 Ultra and the Dreame Bot X10. The differences lie in battery capacity and suction power, with the Ultra version reaching 6000 Pa. These robots will reportedly be sold in Russia in the second half of the year under the names Dreame Bot L12 Alpha and Dreame Bot L12 Beta. The Dreame Bot X10 Ultra is undoubtedly the best-featured robot vacuum cleaner available in 2023 so far.
Hobot Legee D8 + LuLu
A no less interesting robot vacuum cleaner has been released by the popular Taiwanese company Hobot. Their flagship is called the Hobot LEGEE-D8.
In appearance, this device is almost identical D7 modelThe D-shaped body, lidar, and white finish feature a minimally different color rim on the top panel. A visually consistent cleaning module features a side brush, a pre-suction hood for light debris that protects the central brush from hair and debris, the central brush itself, four floor spray nozzles, and a platform with a cleaning cloth.
There is a significant difference, however: the cleaning cloth is now mobile and infused with silver ions, oscillating at a rate of up to 1,300 times per minute, giving the new Hobot the ability to not just wipe the floor, but actually scrub away dirt. The cleaning cloth platform automatically rises when entering carpeted areas. On hard surfaces, the same cleaning cloth presses down on the floor, exerting a scrubbing force of up to 800 grams, significantly higher than that of competitors. And that's not all! The robot vacuum cleaner's dust container is equipped with an ECOpress—a special device inside the container that compresses lightweight debris, thereby increasing its capacity by up to five times, meaning the dust container will need emptying five times less often. This is an alternative to the self-cleaning function developed by Hobot engineers, while also significantly reducing the cost of bags. Suction power has been nearly doubled, reaching 5000 Pa.
The Hobot Legee D8 robot vacuum cleaner comes with a standard charging base. However, it can be optionally equipped with the proprietary Hobot LuLu docking station. This docking station features separate tanks for clean and dirty water, dual silicone brushes for cleaning the cleaning cloth, a hair dryer for drying the cleaning cloth after each cleaning cycle, and a refill system for the water tank inside the robot itself. As a result, the Hobot LEGEE-D8 with the LuLu docking station can automatically rinse, clean, and dry the cleaning cloth, as well as refill its own water tank. This allows the new D8 to be used for cleaning larger areas, and ultimately minimizes robotic vacuum maintenance.
Sales of the robot itself are tentatively scheduled for May 2023. The price is expected to be no higher than $520. The station, meanwhile, will go on sale closer to September and will cost around $260. So, for no more than $780, you get an effective robot vacuum cleaner with a dust compactor and rinsing system, flagship features, and a number of unique developments that improve its performance compared to its competitors.
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Another interesting new product, which was one of the first to be announced in early January 2023, is the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra.
This robot vacuum cleaner has its own unique features that set it apart from its competitors. First, it features dual silicone scraper rollers. They pick up debris more effectively and are easier to clean from tangled hair and fur. An interesting feature of the central brush unit is that it automatically rises off the floor in wet cleaning ONLY mode and when the robot returns to its home station. Suction power has also been increased, now reaching 6000 Pa. The wet cleaning cloth remains unchanged in design and structure, but an additional ultrasonic vibration mechanism has been added. This is now a dual ultrasonic vibration mechanism. The mechanism that lifts the cloth when entering carpets has been retained. The robot vacuum cleaner itself is equipped with an object detection system, but the Pro version apparently does not have the remote home monitoring feature. And of course, the flagship is equipped with a self-cleaning station, which refills the water tank, rinses the cloth, and dries it with hot air after the cleaning cycle.
The result is a small but interesting upgrade of the previously released Roborock S7 MaxV UltraGlobal sales are scheduled to begin in April 2023. According to preliminary information, the Roborock S8 with a standard charging base will cost approximately $750, the Roborock S8+ with a self-cleaning station will cost approximately $950-$1000, and the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 Pro Ultra will cost approximately $1600. The Russian price and release date are not yet known.
Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro
Ecovacs also delighted us with its flagship 2023 solution, announcing the Deebot T20 Pro robot vacuum. Details are still scant, and even those are in Chinese, but we have a good idea of the key updates.
So, the first thing the manufacturer points out is that Ecovacs engineers have done a great job of improving the station's antibacterial protection. They disinfect the clean and dirty water tanks, the station's waste bag, and apparently the robot's dust container, as well as the cleaning wipes. Overall, they claim 99.9% protection against bacteria. It's important to note that the wipes are protected by rinsing them with hot water. This should also improve the cleaning efficiency of these wipes.
The robot itself has increased suction power, now reaching 6000 Pa. The cleaning module and design remain visually unchanged compared to the previously released version. X1 OmniThese include two side brushes, a central bristle-petal brush, and two rotating discs with cleaning pads at the rear. The pads lift 9 mm when entering carpets. Promotional materials demonstrate a feature for intensive cleaning along baseboards by sweeping the back of the brush. I demonstrated this mode in the X1 Omni, and it's truly a unique solution. And, like its predecessor, the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro features an object detection system, remote home monitoring, and an integrated YIKO voice assistant.
The Ecovacs Deebot T20 Pro station can rinse wipes, self-clean, and dry wipes after cleaning. The station itself is supposedly connected to a water supply and sewer system. However, it's unclear whether the special module is included or needs to be purchased separately. Most likely, it's the latter. The result is a seemingly minor upgrade. We'll find out how much performance has actually improved in our tests. It's not yet known when the robot will be available for purchase or how much it will cost. If you have more information, please share it in the comments below.
iLife T10s
iLIFE, a company specializing in budget robotic vacuum cleaners, has released its flagship. While not a particularly advanced cleaning machine, it may still be worth considering. The robotic vacuum cleaner is called the iLife T10s.
It features lidar navigation, a self-cleaning dust bin, and both dry and wet cleaning functions. It boasts suction power of up to 3000 Pa, a Y-pattern motion mode for wet cleaning, an automatic power boost when entering carpets, a battery lasting 150 minutes, and is controlled via a proprietary mobile app. The app offers key control features, including storing up to five maps, virtual walls and no-go zones, and customizing cleaning parameters for each room.
The robot itself is equipped with two side brushes, a central brush, and a straight cloth at the back. Thanks to its integrated water and dust container, it can vacuum and mop simultaneously. The iLife T10s is expected to go on sale in April 2023. The launch price is expected to be around $300 with a discount, which is a great deal. The regular price is expected to be no higher than $480.
Midea M9
Midea has also updated its model range by releasing the new Midea M9.
This robot vacuum cleaner features lidar navigation, 3D sensors on the bumper to detect objects on the floor, increased suction power of 4000 Pa, and advanced wet cleaning. The cleaning platform not only automatically rises when driving over carpets but also applies pressure on hard floors, which should improve dirt removal. The robot vacuum is controlled via a proprietary mobile app, which offers a wide range of features, and most importantly, its price.
According to brand representatives, it will cost around $350. A further small discount is planned for the launch, from March 20 to 26, 2023. Ultimately, we're getting one of the most affordable robot vacuums with a carpet lift function, as well as lidar and object detection. Add in its powerful suction, and it seems practically unrivaled for the price.
The robot is equipped with a standard charging base, so we can say that the model has been upgraded. Midea M7 Pro, and we hope that this same robot will later be sold in a version with a self-cleaning station or a combined station for self-cleaning and rinsing wipes.
Much is already known about the six new products, but there are several other robot vacuum cleaners that have been announced but about which significantly less information is available. Let's briefly review what is known so far.
Eufy Clean X9 Pro
Anker has released a rather interesting robot vacuum cleaner, Eufy. The model is called Eufy Clean X9 Pro.
The manufacturer's promotional materials show that the robot is equipped with lidar navigation, a floor detection system, and, most importantly, a cleaning station for the wipes. Whether it has a self-cleaning function is still unknown. Most likely not. However, there are two rotating cleaning pad platforms that automatically lift on carpets. And two main motors provide the robot with suction power of up to 5500 Pa. Given the unusual shape of the body, it's safe to assume the Eufy Clean X9 Pro is better at sweeping debris out of corners. Finally, with such a feature set, the robot vacuum will cost around $900, which is a hefty price tag. A release date for the new product is still unknown.
Philips R6 Slim
Philips has unexpectedly released its flagship robot vacuum cleaner, the Philips R6 Slim.
It features a wiper rinsing station, lidar navigation, and a cleaning module with a side and center brush, behind which are two rotating wiper pad platforms. These pads automatically lift on carpets. Suction power is claimed to be 2700 Pa. Ultimately, the engineers didn't demonstrate anything unique. However, one might expect higher-quality assembly from a proven brand. The price ranges from $530 to $740 in China. It's unclear whether the Philips R6 Slim will be available in other markets, when it will be, or how the price will change. Because even at $740, it's a very good deal.
Lydsto W3
Xiaomi's sub-brand, Lydsto, also introduced a new product called Lydsto W3.
Compared to the 2022 flagship – Lydsto W2There have been no significant changes to the design or functionality. The robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a station for rinsing wipes and self-cleaning the robot. The design has changed, but apparently the station's capabilities have not changed. The suction power has increased slightly: from 5000 to 5200 Pa. The robot itself has a different design, but we can see that it is very similar to robots from the Xiaomi line, for example, Mijia 3C or Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 2It's not yet known what the cleaning module looks like or whether any advanced features, such as a cloth lift function for carpets, have been implemented.
Pricing and availability have not yet been announced. However, there are reports that the robot will be cheaper than its predecessor, the W2, and its price will be a strong point compared to its competitors. Time will tell.
Kyvol S60
Well, the last new product of 2023 that I would like to tell you about is the Kyvol S60.
This device is equipped with a trendy self-cleaning and rinsing station for the wipes. The station contains 4-liter dirty and clean water tanks, as well as a 3-liter waste bag. At the station, the robot vacuum cleaner not only rinses the wipes but also dries them with hot air and sterilizes the water in the tank. The station itself is stylish and even houses a display and control buttons. As for the robot, it is equipped with a lidar sensor for navigation. Suction power reaches 3300 Pa. The cleaning module consists of two side brushes, a central brush, and two rotating platforms with round wipes. The wipes do not rise on carpets. It is also worth noting that the robot will be controlled via the Tuya ecosystem. This means it can be linked not only to the Kyvol app but also to Smart Life.
The robot's launch price, scheduled for mid- to late April 2023, will be $650, or up to $850. Given the company's capabilities, presence of official representatives on the market, and consequent warranty support, the model may be of interest.
So, we've reviewed the best new robot vacuums as of March 2023. As you can see, both premium cleaning machines and affordable solutions that still offer upgrades over their predecessors will be available very soon. The market is constantly evolving, and that's very encouraging. Each company is showcasing its unique developments, which collectively provide a huge boost to the development of the ideal robot vacuum.
