DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat: A Major Upgrade to the Top-of-the-Line Robot Vacuum

The latest Dreame robot vacuum cleaner I received for review is the 2024 DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat. This model is an improved version of the popular Dreame Bot L10s UltraThey've updated the cleaning module, the station, the functionality, and even increased the suction power. I'll tell you all about it in detail below, as well as test the new robot, highlighting its pros and cons based on my test results, and then express my opinion on whether it's worth buying. The price at the time of writing ranges from $90 to $1,000. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The robot vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:
In addition to the robot and station itself, the delivery kit includes:
- Power adapter.
- Two napkin holders.
- A 200ml bottle of branded cleaning product.
- Tool for cleaning the robot and station.
- Spare bag for the station.
- Operating instructions translated into Russian.
Appearance
Now let's take a look at the DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat's design. Let's start with the robot vacuum itself. It's round, white, and stands approximately 96 mm (3.7 inches) tall.
A wall sensor is installed on the right, and a system of sensors and a camera are located in the center for recognizing and accurately avoiding obstacles on the floor, as well as for remote monitoring of the house.
There's no camera illumination. The system is identical to the DreameBot L10s Ultra. Navigation is handled by a lidar sensor. Three robot control buttons are located next to it.
The dust collector is located under the top cover. The filtration system is based on a HEPA filter and mesh. The robot also has a water tank, but it is non-removable and located inside the body. Water is automatically pumped into the tank through the station using a special nozzle.
There are four anti-fall sensors. A carpet detection sensor is located next to the swivel roller. The central brush unit is floating, which is a plus.
The brush itself is silicone. Both ends can be removed to remove tangled hair and fur.
Two cleaning cloth holders are located behind the turbo brush. The left holder extends to the right when the robot moves along baseboards, furniture, or around chair legs. This technology is called MopExtend™. This eliminates the blind spot between the edge of the cleaning cloth and the baseboard.
It's also important to note that the wipers automatically lift when the robot enters carpets, returns to the station, and moves into the cleaning area. This is a plus.
The station has also been updated. Here's what it looks like:
As with the previous version of the L10s Ultra, the ramp for the robot to enter and the tray for washing napkins can be removed.
Above is a compartment with a dust bag and a reservoir for filling with detergent, like the Dreame Bot X30 Pro, which was previously reviewed.
Pouring detergent into the tank is more convenient than changing cartridges. And it's also more cost-effective.
The top cover houses the dirty and clean water tanks, whose capacity has been increased to 4 and 4.5 liters, respectively.
Plugs are installed behind the tanks for connecting the automatic water fill and drain module. The station connects to the sewer and water supply. However, the module itself is not included and must be purchased separately.
It's important to note that the station can heat clean water to 58 degrees Celsius when washing cloths. It can also dry the cloths with warm air after the cleaning cycle.
Overall, those in the thread have noticed significant design changes. If you'd like a detailed comparison of the DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat with the previously released L10s Ultra, please leave a comment.

- Setting up cleaning according to a schedule.
- Voice notifications in Russian.
- Automatic power increase on carpet.
- Carpet cleaning in wet cleaning mode.
I'll go into some of the features in more detail. Here's how remote home monitoring via smartphone works:
Entering your chosen password activates the camera, which transmits real-time images to your smartphone screen. The image quality is high. You can either control the robot manually or specify a location on the map where you want it to go. You can also take photos, send voice messages through the robot's speaker, and set up a security mode. Very convenient.
An interesting feature is the ability to hide unnecessary areas on the map. For example, if a mirror extends into non-existent rooms. We've also introduced a CleanGenius mode, which automatically determines the cleaning pattern based on the level of dirt on the floor, activating a repeat cleaning or automatically adjusting the power level and the wetness of the cleaning cloths. This is a smart solution that improves cleaning efficiency and increasingly integrates artificial intelligence into the robotic vacuum's algorithms.
We've also added the ability to more flexibly configure the cleaning frequency of the wipes, setting the machine to return to the station after a certain area covered, after a certain amount of time, or after cleaning each room on the map. There's also a diagnostic function for the module for connecting to the sewer and water supply, confirming the model's compatibility with this module.
Overall, a large number of options for flexible cleaning settings have been implemented, and that's a plus!
Testing
A detailed video review of the DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Navigation
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll test the DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat's navigation in a room with obstacles. The robot vacuum first moves around the perimeter of the room, then cleans the entire accessible area in a serpentine pattern. The dryer's legs presented no problems. The robot also swept around the box and chair legs separately, then returned to the station. The test was successful.
Speaking of navigation within the house, the robot vacuum cleaner cleans room by room, following the perimeter, then in a serpentine pattern. Every 15 square meters, as I've determined, it returns to the station and washes the wipes, then resumes cleaning from where it left off. There are no uncleaned areas left; this model has excellent navigation!
Recognizing objects on the floor
The floor object recognition system worked well in good lighting. The robot vacuum cleaner correctly recognized five out of six objects, marking them with corresponding icons on the map. A stuffed animal was simply detected as an obstacle; it wasn't in the robot's database, but that's not a problem. Most importantly, the DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat avoids wires, socks, and, most importantly for many, pet feces. Recognized objects are displayed as photos by clicking on the relevant icon.
However, in complete darkness, the camera becomes blind and its effectiveness is greatly reduced due to the lack of a backlight, unlike the older DreameBot L20 and L30. The robot moved almost all objects. This is important to consider.
Suction power
The suction power was impressive. The DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat was able to suck up debris from crevices up to 10 mm deep. This is an excellent result. By comparison, the DreameBot L10s Ultra only cleaned crevices 2 and 4 mm deep. The updated robot vacuum cleaner is truly much more powerful!
Dry cleaning
The collection quality of various types of debris on laminate floors is good. Only a small amount of debris remains in corners, where round robotic vacuums can't reach. All debris is collected in the dust bin. It's important to note that the central brush picks up minimal amounts of hair. The hair is also easily removed from the brush. This is the main advantage of silicone brushes!
Carpet cleaning
But the silicone turbo brush has its drawbacks. For example, it doesn't clean carpets as well, even with high suction power. While the robot can thoroughly clean low-pile carpets, medium-pile carpets can become stuck with debris that the Dreame Bot L10s Pro Ultra Heat can't pick up.
But for domestic conditions and less severe dirt, the carpet cleaning quality will satisfy even experienced robot vacuum cleaner owners.
Self-cleaning quality
The dust bin's self-cleaning performance is near perfect. The dust bin is completely empty after self-cleaning. Self-cleaning is well implemented on this model!
Removing dirt and stains
This robot vacuum does a good job of removing dirt. Even if it doesn't clean the floor without streaks and marks on the first try, we just return it to the cleaning station, and after washing the cleaning cloths, the floor will be thoroughly cleaned. During testing, one cleaning cycle was sufficient.
However, removing stubborn stains is a challenge. The DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat's cloths, like those of other models in the line, don't apply much pressure to the floor. As a result, it took nine passes to remove stubborn stains.
But in any case, it is capable of removing stains. Many similar products failed to demonstrate even this level of effectiveness.
Blind spot
I'll immediately note that there's no blind spot between the edge of the napkin and the baseboard, as the napkin holder slides out to the right. That's a plus!
And another important point: the robot has been updated to clean floors along baseboards and in corners. Now, when it enters corners, it backs up, effectively cleaning the floor in the corners as thoroughly as possible. A truly brilliant solution that deserves attention!
Wet cleaning and carpets
When wet cleaning on carpeted floors, you can choose from several robot behavior options. The most optimal option is to automatically lift the cloths when entering carpets, allowing the DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra to simultaneously vacuum and mop, leaving carpets dry and clean.
The second option is to enable automatic carpet avoidance in wet cleaning mode. This is especially useful for high- and medium-pile carpets, to completely eliminate any contact between the cleaning pad and the carpet if necessary. The robot can also navigate carpets with rotating cleaning pads, or it can dry clean the entire accessible area first and then clean the floor separately, avoiding the carpets.
Washing quality of napkins
Now, I'd like to test the station's effectiveness. Let's start with the cleaning quality of the wipes. If we test it after heavy-duty cleaning with a dirty floor, the station doesn't clean the wipes perfectly. But then again, the robot isn't designed for such conditions. Heating the water doesn't significantly improve the cleaning quality of the wipes.
However, in everyday use, the station washes napkins well, and therefore I have no particular complaints about it.
Speaking of maintaining the station itself, cleaning it is straightforward. We activate the station's special self-cleaning mode, the robot comes out, remove the tray and drain, wash the bottom with a brush, the water drains automatically, wipe the bottom with a cloth, and return the separately washed tray and drain. Basically, it's all very convenient!
Obstacle clearance
The robot vacuum cleaner easily navigates 2 cm high thresholds. That's a plus!
Driving on black surfaces
It's also not afraid of black surfaces, easily driving on completely black carpet. This is another advantage of the robot!
Noise level
As for the noise level, it ranges from 58.5 to 72.5 dB. The noise level is quite standard for this model, considering its high suction power.
Personal opinion
The DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. According to our rating system, it scored 205 points and enter the top three in overall ranking of tested robotic vacuum cleaners, moving Dreame Bot X30 Pro and yielding only to the elders Dreame Bot L30 Ultra And Dreame Bot L20 Ultra Complete, which scored 219 and 217 points, respectively. I'll highlight the robot's pros and cons, and then share my own opinion. I liked the following:
- A retractable cloth allows the robot to thoroughly clean areas along baseboards and furniture.
- An efficient, combined station for self-cleaning, washing, and drying wipes. It's also compact.
- Washing napkins with hot water.
- Automatic detergent dispensing when washing napkins. I'd also like to point out that a tank with a filling hole is much more convenient than the cartridge found on the L10s Ultra.
- Increased capacity of water tanks.
- An optional module for connection to sewerage and water supply is available.
- High suction power.
- The presence of a system for recognizing objects on the floor.
- Remote home monitoring by connecting to the robot's camera via a smartphone.
- Ultimate mode, thanks to which the robot independently selects the cleaning algorithm.
- An improved algorithm for cleaning floors in corners, in which the robot moves its rear end as far into the corner as possible, using the cleaning cloth as a support.
- High-quality dry and wet cleaning on any surface.
- The turbo brush makes it easier to clean hair and fur.
- Automatic lifting of napkins when driving onto carpets.
- Convenient maintenance of the robot and station.
- A large number of functions for flexible adjustment of cleaning parameters.
- Good cross-country ability.
- The robot vacuum cleaner is not afraid of black floor coverings.
- High-quality assembly and high brand authority.
- Complete Russification.
- Availability of warranty and service.
There are also some disadvantages, the main ones being:
- Doesn't completely sweep out debris in the corners.
- It removes difficult stains with difficulty.
- The object recognition system goes blind in the dark.
Ultimately, I can say that the DreameBot L10s Pro Ultra Heat is a compelling robot vacuum, especially if the price drops below $900 and there's a significant price gap compared to the Dreame Bot L20 Ultra Complete. While the two robots are generally very similar, the new L10s Pro Ultra Heat has a more compact station, is easier to fill with detergent, and has a water heating function. The L20 has its strengths – it sweeps better into corners and has a detachable cleaning pad, plus it comes with excellent consumables. Compared to the previously released Dreame Bot L10s Ultra, the differences are significant, and the new model offers more autonomy, power, and functionality. There are many differences, all of which were highlighted in this review, and the extra cost is certainly worth it. So, the result is a transitional model with its own strengths and weaknesses. The advantages far outweigh the advantages, so this robot is definitely recommended.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
