EVOLUTION Smart Clean VCF2613UV Wet and Dry: dry and wet cleaning, unique attachments, wireless charging

Hello to all readers of this project! This review will examine a new upright vacuum cleaner called the EVOLUTION Smart Clean VCF2613UV Wet and Dry. As its name suggests, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for both dry and wet cleaning, thanks to the included floor mopping attachment. Furthermore, this new product boasts a well-equipped package, a uniquely designed main floor nozzle, increased suction power up to 30,000 Pa, a telescopic extension wand, and a convenient wall mount with wireless charging. For such a comprehensive package, you'll have to pay between $180 and $200, which is quite reasonable. Below, I'll thoroughly test this device, highlight its pros and cons based on my test results, and then share my personal opinion. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:
The package includes:
- Main block.
- Removable battery.
- Telescopic extension tube.
- Basic floor nozzle with carpet roller.
- Replacement fluffy roller for hard floors.
- Wet cleaning nozzle with a microfiber cloth installed.
- Two spare napkins.
- An attachment with a turbo brush for cleaning upholstered furniture and mattresses.
- Crevice nozzle.
- Attachment with sliding bristles.
- Wall-mounted holder with holders for included attachments and fasteners.
- Power adapter.
- Operating instructions in Russian.
The kit is well-equipped. It has all the necessary attachments for household cleaning!
Appearance
Now let's take a look at the vacuum cleaner's design. Let's start with the main unit. It's white and gray with bright red accents and a black handle. Inside is a 470-watt motor, generating up to 30,000 Pa of suction.
The battery is removable, which is a plus. It has a charger port and wireless charging terminals on the holder.
A display with two control buttons is located on the end: power on/off and mode switching. There's an automatic mode and three power levels. The display is very dim and barely visible in daylight, which is odd.
The dust bin is emptied by pressing a release button on the bottom, which opens the bottom. An interesting feature is the manual cleaning of the metal mesh in the dust bin. To do this, pull the red handle at the top, and the mesh rises, scraping off accumulated debris, pet hair, and fur. The dust bin can be completely removed from the main unit, which is very convenient. In addition to the metal mesh, a multi-cyclone system provides filtration. A HEPA filter is also installed under the top cover, with a mesh in front of it. Overall, the filtration system is good for this price range.
The floor nozzle has an interesting design. A spring-loaded additional roller with soft, fluffy bristles is installed in front of the main roller. Apparently, this is for thorough cleaning from the front, when positioned close to walls and furniture, as well as for improved debris collection. The nozzle comes standard with a carpet roller with elastic bristles. This fluffy roller for hard floors can be installed instead.
I would like to add that the front panel has a bright green backlight for the cleaning area, which increases the cleaning efficiency in poorly lit areas.
You can attach a wet cleaning attachment like this to the main nozzle:
It's a water tank with a sealed lid and a microfiber cloth attached to the bottom. Water is supplied to the cloth through several holes. Pressing the red button forces water onto the cloth.
Speaking of the included attachments, the turbo brush attachment for cleaning upholstered furniture and mattresses is a clever addition. A UV lamp for surface disinfection is located behind the brush. It activates when the wheels touch the surface. The turbo brush is easily removed without tools and features elastic bristle inserts.
The brush head with retractable bristles and the crevice tool are standard. The telescopic extension wand deserves special attention. This allows you to adjust the vacuum cleaner's height to suit your height.
It is also important to highlight a convenient wall holder on which you can charge the vacuum cleaner and store all the attachments in the kit.
It's good that all the attachments are equipped with locking devices. Let's assemble the vacuum cleaner, and here's what it looks like when fully assembled:
The pros and cons of this design will be discussed during the final review. Let's move on!
Technical specifications
Key features of the EVOLUTION Smart Clean VCF2613UV Wet and Dry, as stated by the manufacturer:
- Power consumption: 470 W.
- Suction power: up to 30,000 Pa.
- Li-Ion battery 2500 mAh.
- Operating time up to 60 min.
- Dust collector: 500 ml.
- Noise level 80-84 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 3.05 kg.
The increased suction power stands out here, which will be verified in tests. The vacuum cleaner's noise level was personally measured. It ranged from 80 to 84 dB, which is elevated. This is likely due to the high power.
The main unit weighs 1,632 grams, the extension tube weighs 422 grams, and the main floor nozzle weighs 991 grams. The fully assembled vacuum weighs 3,045 grams, slightly heavier than most similar vacuums.
Testing
A detailed video review of the EVOLUTION Smart Clean VCF2613UV Wet and Dry, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the battery life of the EVOLUTION Smart Clean VCF2613UV Wet and Dry at maximum power with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed to run for 13 minutes and 18 seconds, which is a decent result. The standard runtime for cordless vacuums is between 10 and 12 minutes.
Suction power
In terms of suction power, at the lowest setting, the vacuum cleaner was able to remove almost all debris from crevices up to 6 mm deep and partially from crevices up to 10 mm deep. At the medium setting, it managed to thoroughly clean a 14 mm deep stand and partially cleaned an 18 mm deep crevice. At the highest setting, it partially removed a 20 mm crevice. So, in reality, the vacuum cleaner's power is average and sufficient for household use.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well the vacuum cleaner picks up debris from the floor. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, cat litter pellets, and other small household debris. The vacuum picked up most of the debris, but when attempting to pick up larger debris like cat litter pellets, the roller sometimes gets blocked and the vacuum goes into an error state, forcing me to manually remove the stuck debris.
Speaking of blind spots, the attachment picks up debris well in corners and along baseboards, and just as importantly, the fluff roller was clean after the test. The auxiliary roller picked up a little hair, but nothing too serious.
Carpet cleaning
Speaking of carpet cleaning, the roller also jams when it encounters filler granules, so the attachment has trouble with any of the rollers. If there's no such debris, the roller cleans both low-pile and medium-pile carpets well.
Here's the condition of the carpet roller after testing. We can see that it's picked up some hair, which is quite normal for this type of roller.
Anti-tangle Hair Protection
I also checked the anti-tangle protection. The fluffy roller did a good job, preventing hair from tangling on its surface.
The carpet roller got hair wrapped around itself.
Using additional attachments
It's also worth noting that thanks to the three additional attachments, you can superficially clean upholstery, clean where the main attachment can't reach, and even clean the inside of a car, if necessary.
Wet cleaning
I'll also show you how to mop your floors using this vacuum and the wet mop attachment. Attach the reservoir to the main attachment and use the vacuum as a mop.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll explain how to clean the dust bin. Press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. If necessary, you can manually clean the metal mesh using the built-in mechanism. Also, if hair or fur gets stuck in the bin, you can remove the dust bin and shake out the remaining contents.
Personal opinion
The EVOLUTION Smart Clean VCF2613UV Wet and Dry cordless upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight its pros and cons, then share my thoughts. Here's what I liked:
- Automatic power increase mode when contamination is detected.
- A good set, which includes all the necessary additional attachments and two replaceable rollers for different surfaces.
- Suitable for dry and wet cleaning, thanks to the floor cleaning attachment.
- Removable battery.
- Removable dust collector.
- Illumination of the cleaning area.
- The dust collector metal mesh cleaning function is implemented in an interesting way.
- Good filtration system.
- Telescopic extension tube.
- Convenient wall holder for wireless charging of the vacuum cleaner and storage of the included attachments.
- Ergonomic design – the vacuum cleaner is convenient to use with one hand.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Among the disadvantages I would highlight:
- Both rollers become blocked when picking up large debris such as litter granules.
- The display is not bright and is difficult to see in good lighting conditions.
- High noise level.
- The weight of the vacuum cleaner when fully assembled is slightly higher than the usual value.
- Vertical parking outside the holder is not provided.
So, what's the bottom line? I can say the vacuum cleaner is actually quite interesting, but some nuances still left me with a bit of a mixed bag. My main complaint is the main nozzle, which they wanted to make unique and improve efficiency, but in the end they complicated the design and created a problem with the roller locking. And I don't understand why the display is so dim. However, the model has plenty of advantages for this price range. It's convenient, handles everyday household cleaning well, comes well-equipped, and still looks neat. If these issues aren't critical to you, it's worth considering if you're budgeting under $200, especially if you want both dry and wet cleaning in one device.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
