Neatsvor T30: An affordable upright vacuum cleaner

The Neatsvor T30 is an affordable upright vacuum cleaner. Priced between $175 and $210, or $1.85 to $2.25 at the current exchange rate, it's in the mid-price range. While boasting a fairly standard design, it boasts a UV lamp for surface disinfection and an automatic power boost when dirt is detected. Below, I'll thoroughly test the Neatsvor T30 and then share my opinion on whether it's worth buying. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The package includes:
- Charging and self-cleaning base for vacuum cleaner with accessory holder.
- Power adapter.
- Cleaning tool.
- Hex key to remove the handle if necessary.
- Operating instructions translated into Russian.
The kit is minimal. Spare parts and even a branded cleaning solution are not included.
Appearance
Now let's look at the Neatsvor T30's design. It has a familiar design and operating principle. Let's start with the cleaning module. The top cover is removable, revealing a roller with soft, fluffy bristles. Above the roller are a series of nozzles for even water distribution during operation. Behind the roller are a scraper and a suction port.
The roller doesn't extend to the edges of the body, so it's safe to say there will be a blind spot along the baseboard when washing. A UV lamp is located underneath the roller for surface disinfection. I can't evaluate the effectiveness of this solution, but we can see that it activates upon contact with the floor, which is signaled by a special sensor located next to the lamp.
Above the cleaning module is an 800 ml dirty water tank. It contains a HEPA filter with a mesh, a float to control the water level, and a coarse filter. The clean water tank is quite large, holding 1000 ml. A mesh for coarse filtering is built into the cap.
It's great that the vacuum cleaner's battery is removable. This greatly simplifies the replacement process and allows you to extend its runtime by purchasing a spare battery.
The body features a conveniently located informative display that shows the battery charge, selected operating mode, power level, and service messages.
The wet/dry vacuum cleaner is controlled by buttons on the handle. These buttons include power on/off, switching between two operating modes (automatic and maximum), UV lamp activation, and water supply on/off. If needed, you can turn off the water supply and use the vacuum cleaner for either liquid or dry cleaning. In automatic mode, the Neatsvor T30 automatically adjusts suction power when it detects dirt or liquids on the floor.
Lastly, it's important to mention that the Neatsvor T30 supports voice notifications in Russian. You can disable them by pressing the corresponding button on the device.
Speaking of the base, the vacuum cleaner only charges and self-cleans on it. There's no way to dry the roller.
Overall, the Neatsvor T30's design has both strengths and weaknesses. I'll share my thoughts on these when I review the results.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of Neatsvor T30, as declared by the manufacturer:
- Battery: Li-Ion, 3800 mAh.
- Power consumption: 255 W.
- Working time: 15/45 min.
- Charging time up to 240 min.
- Clean water tank: 1000 ml.
- Dirty water tank: 800 ml.
- Noise level: 74-77 dB.
- Weight: 5.2 kg.
I'd like to highlight the increased battery capacity, long battery life in normal mode, and sufficiently large water tanks. I personally measured the noise level: 74-77 dB, slightly higher than the manufacturer's specifications.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Neatsvor T30, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
And finally, let's move on to the tests. Neatsvor T30 performs well in everyday floor cleaning, both on wood and tile surfaces. It doesn't leave streaks and, when used correctly, won't damage delicate flooring.
This cordless vacuum cleaner can be used not only for cleaning floors but also for picking up liquids. And, as in my case, it even passed the now-traditional test of picking up a mixture of raw egg and flour.
Neatsvor T30 can also be used to clean slightly dried-on dirt from floors. As you can see, there are no marks or streaks left. The floor is perfectly clean.
Since the roller doesn't extend right up to the edge of the housing, a narrow strip approximately 22 mm wide remains. This is important to take into account.
However, Neatsvor T30 struggles with tough stains. It managed to remove coffee stains, but I spent 13 minutes scrubbing dried-on sauce stains, which wasn't enough time to completely clean the stand. It failed this test.
Furthermore, this wet/dry vacuum cleaner can also be used for dry cleaning. It easily picks up debris of various textures from the floor. There are no blind spots along baseboards or in corners; all debris is collected directly from the stand. That's a plus!
Considering this is a wet/dry vacuum, it's not practical for cleaning carpets. However, it's still possible if you don't add water to the tank or use the wet mode, which simply vacuums debris without adding water. The roller, despite its fluffy texture, is capable of picking up pet hair, fur, and other debris.
However, debris can clog the suction hole and block the brush, which is what happened during testing, as the suction system doesn't work properly without water. Overall, I still recommend cleaning carpets with a regular upright vacuum cleaner, or entrusting this task to a robotic vacuum cleaner of a suitable design and power.
The final test is to check the self-cleaning performance after all the tests. The lid is practically clean after self-cleaning, as is the roller itself. However, there was some stuck-on flour and other dirt left behind the roller. So, self-cleaning isn't perfect, but overall, it's sufficient for everyday use. Under normal conditions, the vacuum cleaner performs much better.
Personal opinion
The Neatsvor T30 upright wet/dry vacuum cleaner has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll share my thoughts on it.
I liked the following:
- Large capacity water tanks.
- Removable battery.
- Increased battery capacity and, as a result, longer operating time.
- The quality of floor washing is quite acceptable for domestic conditions.
- Automatic power increase when contamination is detected.
- Informative display on the body.
- Voice notifications in Russian.
- Reasonable price.
As for the disadvantages, there are the following comments about the vacuum cleaner:
- There is no drying of the roller on the base.
- Doesn't wash a narrow strip along the baseboard.
- Not capable of removing difficult stains.
- Not suitable for cleaning carpets.
- There is no full local warranty and service.
Overall, this is a pretty good upright vacuum cleaner for the price. Of course, there are some criticisms, but most of them are typical for similar devices. In my opinion, the Neatsvor T30 would be a good choice if priced at $170 or less. It doesn't have many competitors at this price, and given its specifications, it's definitely better than most.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
