Below, I'll thoroughly test the Roborock F25 ACE Combo, highlight its pros and cons based on my test results, and then share my personal opinion. Let's get started!

Let's start with the package, it includes:

Appearance

Now let's take a look at the Roborock F25 ACE Combo's design. Let's start with the wet/dry vacuum cleaner. The cleaning module consists of a single roller that extends out to the edge of the body on both sides.

The top lid also houses the 740 ml water tank. This tank placement shifts the center of gravity downwards, reducing strain on your arm when using the vacuum.

Nearby we see a small compartment with a capacity of 100 ml for detergent, which is automatically mixed with clean water.

A traditional rollerball made of soft, fluffy bristles. It's mounted on a cross-shaped holder.

Behind it, we see metal combs for detangling hair and fur from the roller and scraping away dirt. Below is a scraper and a suction hole.

Above is a 720 ml dirty water tank. It contains a HEPA filter with a mesh screen, two different coarse filters, and electronic water level sensors.

The wet/dry vacuum cleaner is controlled by three buttons on the handle: power on/off, mode selection, and self-cleaning function activation. There are four operating modes: automatic, maximum, suction, and ECO.

Thanks to this design, the vacuum cleaner can clean the floor in gaps as small as 12.5 cm high.

The display module is integrated with the battery. It detaches with the press of a button and attaches to the main unit of the vacuum cleaner for dry cleaning. It detaches with the press of a brightly colored lever.

As for the main dry cleaning unit, there are two control buttons located under the display: power on and off, as well as switching operating modes: automatic, maximum and ECO.

A HEPA filter is installed on top. The dust container bottom opens from the bottom. Unfortunately, the dust container is not removable, making it difficult to clean, as it cannot be rinsed with water and dried as usual. Inside, a good filtration system is installed, consisting of a foam filter, a multi-cyclone filter, and a mesh filter. The dust container itself has a capacity of 560 ml.

Let's take a look at the included attachments. The floor nozzle features a swivel joint. A bright green light is mounted on the front, helping you spot debris on the floor. Interestingly, the roller is open at the front, likely to better capture larger debris from the floor. It can be removed without tools by releasing the latch on the side. The roller's design is unusual: it combines fluffy bristles with petals, making it ideal for both hard floors and carpets. Behind the roller are combs for detangling tangled hair and fur.

The upholstery and mattress cleaning attachment features a shortened silicone brush. This design is designed to help remove tangled hair and fur. The turbo brush can be removed without tools.

The crevice tool is a standard design with retractable bristles.

The only thing left to consider is the base, where the Roborock F25 ACE Combo charges, self-cleans, and dries the roller. It's worth noting that the roller self-cleans with hot water heated to 90°C. After self-cleaning, the roller dries at the same temperature in a record-breaking 5 minutes. There's also a gentle drying mode with a lower temperature but a longer drying time.

It is worth highlighting the increased suction power of the washing vacuum cleaner and the capacious water tanks.

I personally tested the noise level. When washing the floor, it ranges from 72-75 dB, and when using a handheld vacuum, it reaches 79 dB. This is a standard vacuum cleaner noise level.

The fully assembled wet/dry vacuum weighs approximately 4.7 kg. The fully assembled dry vacuum weighs 2,785 grams, including the main unit (1,721 grams), the extension tube (222 grams), and the floor nozzle (842 grams).

I also tested the Roborock F25 ACE Combo's battery life in dry cleaning mode at maximum power with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed 27 minutes and 40 seconds of runtime, which is a very impressive result.

Functional capabilities

I'd like to highlight the features of the Roborock F25 ACE Combo. This upright vacuum cleaner supports customization and even control via the proprietary Roborock mobile app. Connection is simple and convenient. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

In the app, you can manually adjust the suction power, water flow level, roller speed, detergent dosage, wheel speed, self-cleaning mode, temperature, roller drying speed, and select the volume and language of voice alerts. Note that the global version, as reviewed, of the Roborock F25 ACE Combo speaks English, but not Russian. This voice package is included in the Russian version of the vacuum cleaner.

It will also be convenient to monitor the condition of consumables in order to change them in a timely manner.

And the coolest thing is the remote control for the vacuum cleaner when it's lying horizontally on the floor. Here's how it works:

I'm not sure where this solution might be useful, but it's worth playing with. The vacuum cleaner won't get scratched, as the handle has a wheel on the back for smooth movement across the floor.

In general, connecting to the application is a very useful feature for flexible customization of parameters to suit your own conditions.

And finally, let's move on to the tests. We'll check how well this vacuum cleaner performs its primary function. There will be several tests, from simple to more complex.

Washing the floor

The Roborock F25 ACE Combo handles everyday floor cleaning well. In automatic mode, it automatically adjusts suction power based on the level of dirt on the floor. Liquid is thoroughly sucked into the dirty water tank, leaving no streaks or puddles.

You can also use the vacuum cleaner to pick up liquids and mixtures, like in my case, a mixture of raw egg and flour. Very convenient.

The Roborock F25 ACE Combo vacuum cleaner removes dirt very effectively and quickly, leaving no streaks or marks. Moreover, the Roborock F25 ACE Combo can clean dirt right up to baseboards thanks to its dual-sided rollers extending to the edge of the unit.

In reality, the blind spot is about 2 mm, while most similar devices have a blind spot of 15-20 mm. Still, Roborock's engineers still have room for improvement.

However, it does remove tough stains with some difficulty. It does take some time. In my case, I was able to remove the stains in about 5.5 minutes, using the included cleaning solution. The result is average, but the vacuum cleaner still got the job done faster than most other similar products I tested.

After all the wet/dry vacuum tests, we checked the self-cleaning performance, and here again, the Roborock F25 ACE Combo did not disappoint. It cleans dirt and debris effectively, thanks to heated water and a metal scraper that scrapes everything off the roller. Self-cleaning is very well implemented in this model. Test passed!

The drying is also really effective. Even after 5 minutes of quick drying, the roller is practically dry! Great job, Roborock engineers!

Suction power

In terms of suction power, in ECO mode, the vacuum was able to thoroughly vacuum debris from a 10 mm gap and partially from crevices up to 20 mm deep. At maximum power, it managed to clean crevices up to 35 mm deep well, but not completely. I can say this is a powerful upright vacuum.

Collecting debris on laminate flooring

Now let's test how well the Roborock F25 ACE Combo picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. It was even able to pick up large pieces of cat litter, thanks to the nozzle's design. And there were no blind spots in the corners. Excellent results!

Carpet cleaning

The vacuum cleaner also does a good job of cleaning carpets thanks to its well-designed roller. That's a plus.

Anti-tangle Hair Protection

I also checked the anti-tangle feature. The dry cleaning attachment did a fantastic job! All the hair was collected, and the roller was perfectly clean. A truly amazing brush!

A wet/dry vacuum cleaner, or more precisely its metal comb, does an equally impressive job of detangling hair. We see that the roller is clean, nothing is clogged, and all the hair is collected in the dirty water tank. Excellent results!

Using additional attachments

I'd also like to add that the additional attachments allow you to clean a sofa, reach areas the main nozzle can't reach, and even clean the inside of a car if necessary. In short, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.

Cleaning the dust collector

Finally, I'll show you how to clean the dust container. Press the button, and everything inside falls out the bottom. If anything gets stuck, remove the filter system and empty it. For complete convenience, the only thing missing is the ability to remove the dust container itself.

Personal opinion

The Roborock F25 ACE Combo handheld vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. First, I'll cover the pros and cons, then I'll share my personal opinion. Here's what I liked:

1. Suitable for both full floor washing and dry cleaning.
2. High-quality floor washing and dirt removal.
3. It cleans floors along baseboards better than many similar products. Moreover, the roller extends to the edge on both sides.
4. High-quality self-cleaning of the roller with hot water.
5. Complete and very fast drying of the roller with hot air.
6. Can be tilted to a completely horizontal position.
7. Automatic mixing of detergent.
8. The set includes additional attachments for local dry cleaning.
9. High-quality waste collection on both hard surfaces and carpets.
10. The metal combs in a wet vacuum cleaner and the roller structure in a dry vacuum cleaner do a good job of detangling tangled hair and fur.
11. In reality, the suction power is high, both in figures and according to test results.
12. Automatic power increase when contamination is detected.
13. A remote control mode for a washing vacuum cleaner, which might be convenient for some people and just for fun.
14. Illumination of the cleaning area in the dry cleaning nozzle.
15. Long battery life.
16. The wheels are equipped with motors for easier control and literally glide the vacuum across the floor. The weight is practically unnoticeable in your hand.

Speaking about shortcomings, in fact these are more like comments, but nevertheless they exist:

1. Non-removable dust collector in a vacuum cleaner for dry cleaning.
2. There is still a small blind area between the edge of the roller and the baseboard, although it is minimal. Roborock Dyad Pro she wasn't there at all.
3. There is no backlight in the washing vacuum cleaner.

Ultimately, for me personally, this is one of the best upright wet vacuum cleaners of 2025. It incorporates all the key advanced features and design solutions, making it even more efficient and convenient than its predecessors. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a wet upright vacuum cleaner with dry attachments and are considering Roborock products.
