Liectroux 11S

The Liectroux 11S robot vacuum cleaner is designed for dry and wet cleaning in homes and offices. It can recognize and clean various types of smooth flooring (wood, marble, tile, linoleum) from small and larger debris, dust, hair, and pet hair. Its high suction power also allows it to handle surface cleaning of low-pile carpets. While this robot vacuum cleaner is initially priced at a premium (average price of $280-$300), it can be purchased for significantly less (up to $150) on sale (link at the end of the review). To understand the manufacturer's unique features, we recommend reading the detailed review.
Equipment
The Liectroux 11S package includes:
- Robot vacuum cleaner.
- Charging base.
- Network adapter.
- Remote control.
- Additional side brushes (2 pcs.).
- Water tank.
- Microfiber cloths (2 pcs.).
- Area for attaching a napkin.
- Additional side brushes (2 pcs.).
- Spare HEPA filter.
- Flat-head screwdriver.
- Brush with blade for cleaning vacuum cleaner.
- Operating instructions.
It's worth noting that the kit doesn't include batteries for the remote control, so they must be purchased separately. A virtual wall is also not included, which is a drawback.
Appearance
The robot vacuum cleaner features a modular design and is made of white ABS plastic. It has a traditional round shape. Its dimensions are compact: 320 x 320 x 78 mm. Its low height is particularly impressive, allowing the Liectroux 11S to fit under furniture and clean hard-to-reach areas.
Viewing the robot vacuum from above, we see that the dust compartment cover takes up most of the front panel. Also at the top is a single power button.
The Liectroux 11S has a spring-loaded protective bumper at the front, exhaust vents at the back, a socket for connecting a network adapter and charging the battery directly from the network on the side, and a power button for the device.
Now let's look at the back of the robot: two drive wheels on the sides, a swivel wheel at the front, charging contacts, a battery compartment, two side brushes, and a suction port. A pad with a microfiber cloth is also attached to the bottom, where water flows by gravity from the reservoir.
Technical specifications
In the table, we have compiled the main technical characteristics of the Liectroux 11S robot vacuum cleaner:
| Type of cleaning | Dry and wet |
| Power supply | Li-Ion battery 2600 mAh |
| Opening hours | 100-120 minutes |
| Charging time | 280 minutes |
| Cleaning area | 170-220 sq.m. |
| Power consumption | 28 W |
| Suction power | up to 3000 Pa (according to the manufacturer) |
| Maximum height of obstacles | Up to 15 mm |
| Dust container volume | 600 ml |
| Water tank capacity | 350 ml |
| Dimensions | 320*320*78 mm |
| Weight | 2.8 kg |
The manufacturer's stated cleaning area in real-world conditions is approximately 60-80 square meters (if we're talking about effective cleaning). The suction power is also overstated; with this battery and design, the robot likely has a suction power of around 1800 Pa.
Functional capabilities
The Liectroux 11S robot vacuum cleaner uses a gyroscope and sensors for navigation. Together with 2D mapping technology, they create an optimal route and recognize previously cleaned areas, saving time and battery life.
The Liectroux 11S robot vacuum cleaner also has obstacle and stair safety sensors installed around its perimeter. These sensors are quite sensitive and may not always correctly detect black stripes on the floor (for example, patterns on laminate flooring). This can be resolved by covering the obstacle and stair safety sensors. Unless your space is a multi-story building, you won't need them.
The robot explores the room and then divides it into several zones for convenience. Furthermore, during a new cleaning cycle, it compares the current map with the previously created one, and if there's a match, it moves through the rooms more confidently and quickly, cleaning the floor more effectively.
Incidentally, the robot vacuum cleaner's movements in automatic mode are not random, but rather follow a zigzag or serpentine pattern. This pattern allows for the most thorough cleaning of debris, leaving no uncleaned areas.
Despite the lack of a turbo brush, the Liectroux 11S excels at picking up not only small debris, dust, hair, and pet hair, but also larger debris (seeds, nuts, grains, etc.). It can also clean low-pile carpets. The robot vacuum cleaner uses two side brushes to sweep debris toward the suction channel, which then directs it to the dust collector. The dust collector is a 600-milliliter container with a plastic handle. It contains a pre-filter and a HEPA filter.
If you need to wet mop the floor, replace the dust collector with a 350-milliliter tank, fill it with water, and attach the pad with a microfiber cloth to the bottom. The cloth is automatically moistened during cleaning, and you can also adjust the water flow rate using the mobile app.
As we mentioned in our previous review, the Liectroux 11S comes with an infrared remote control, which allows you to perform basic control of the robot vacuum. More advanced control options are available via the mobile app for your smartphone or tablet. Here, you can not only adjust the water flow to the cleaning cloth, but also increase suction power as needed and select the most appropriate cleaning mode.
In addition to automatic operation, the device has the following operating modes:
- random (the robot vacuum cleaner turns off navigation and moves completely randomly);
- local (thorough cleaning of a small, heavily contaminated area);
- around the perimeter (Liectroux 11S pays special attention to cleaning the floor along walls, furniture and in corners);
- Setting up a cleaning schedule.
Advantages and disadvantages
