Redkey W12 Pro: A versatile vacuum cleaner for floors, windows, and furniture.

The Redkey W12 Pro is a rather interesting upright vacuum cleaner. Its main selling point is that it can be used not only for mopping floors, but also for cleaning upholstery with a water supply, and even for washing windows. The result is a versatile upright vacuum cleaner for household cleaning. Below, I'll thoroughly test the Redkey W12 Pro, highlight its pros and cons, and then express my opinion on whether it's worth buying. The price at the time of writing is around $300, placing it in the mid-price segment. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The package includes:
- Base for charging and self-cleaning.
- Main unit holder on wheels.
- Removable handle.
- Connecting hose.
- Power adapter.
- Furniture cleaning attachment.
- Crevice nozzle.
- Glass cleaning attachment.
- Vacuum cleaner cleaning tool.
- Operating instructions
- Branded bag for storing all accessories.
The package is good. Ideally, it would also include the branded cleaning product, but you'll have to buy it separately.
Appearance
Let's take a look at the Redkey W12 Pro's appearance. Let's start with the cleaning module. The top cover is removable. The roller is held in place by a latch. The roller's structure is familiar—soft bristles. On the side, we see an interesting design—a broom that sweeps up debris along the walls. Behind the roller is a squeegee for collecting liquid residue from the floor and a suction port. The roller is slightly offset to the right, allowing the vacuum cleaner to better clean along walls and baseboards. However, a blind spot remains.
Above the cleaning module is a removable main unit. It is released by pressing the latch on the back. This unit houses the on/off button, display, and reservoirs.
The dirty water tank holds 380 ml. It contains a HEPA filter with a mesh, a sponge filter, and electronic water level sensors. A coarse filter is not included. The clean water tank holds 500 ml, standard. The battery is built-in and cannot be removed.
The hose connection is located at the back. The clamp-on system is very convenient. A suitable cleaning nozzle is attached to the back of the hose.
Speaking of attachments, there's a glass cleaner attachment with adjustable water flow, a crevice tool, and an upholstery brush attachment. Each attachment is equipped with a spray nozzle.
The handle features mechanical control buttons, including a self-cleaning function, power on/off, dry cleaning mode, and wet cleaning mode. The water supply is activated by pressing the button once; there's no need to hold it down throughout the cleaning process. This vacuum cleaner also features voice prompts in Russian.
I'd like to point out that vertical parking is available outside the base. It's very convenient.
As for the base, the Redkey W12 Pro self-cleans and charges on it. Unfortunately, there's no way to dry the roller.

Testing
A detailed video review of the Redkey W12 Pro, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
And finally, let's move on to the tests. The Redkey W12 Pro performs well in everyday floor cleaning, both on wood and tile. It doesn't leave streaks and, when used correctly, won't damage delicate flooring.
This cordless vacuum cleaner can be used not only for cleaning floors but also for picking up liquids. And, as in my case, it even passed the now-traditional test of picking up a mixture of raw egg and flour.
The Redkey W12 Pro can also be used to clean slightly dried-on dirt from floors. As you can see, there are no marks or streaks left. The floor is perfectly clean.
Since the roller does not extend right up to the edge of the body, a narrow strip of only 5 mm wide remains.
This vacuum cleaner even removed tough, dried-on coffee and sauce stains. As with similar products, it took some time to remove the sauce stains. To be precise, it took five minutes to remove the stains. The results are excellent, comparable to those of top-of-the-line wet vacuum cleaners from reputable brands. And no detergent was used, just water.
After a challenging floor cleaning test, we checked the self-cleaning performance. The Redkey W12 Pro self-cleans on par with most similar products. It's not perfect, but acceptable. A small amount of dirt remains on the lid itself, the roller is covered in small sauce stains, and there's also visible dirt behind the roller. However, the testing conditions were quite challenging, admittedly.
In a domestic environment, after daily floor washing, self-cleaning does a better job, as the cleaning module is in a less neglected condition.
Here's how you can thoroughly clean upholstered furniture and chairs with the Redkey W12 Pro. The stains were actually removed after vacuuming the upholstery.
You can also clean hard-to-reach areas with the crevice tool. And with the glass cleaner attachment, you can clean windows or shower doors. Very convenient!
In this test, I did use detergent, even though the manufacturer doesn't recommend it. However, choosing a non-foaming one will improve cleaning performance.
Furthermore, this wet/dry vacuum cleaner can also be used for dry cleaning. It easily picks up various types of debris from the floor. However, there's a small blind spot in the corner where the roller can't reach. It's minimal, but it's there.
Considering this is a wet/dry vacuum, it's not practical for cleaning carpets. However, it's still possible in dry mode. The roller structure isn't capable of thoroughly cleaning carpets, and debris can clog the filtration system, which is what happened during testing, as the suction system doesn't work properly without water.
In general, I still recommend cleaning carpets with a regular upright vacuum cleaner, or entrusting this task to a robot with a suitable design and power.
Personal opinion
The Redkey W12 Pro upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight its pros and cons, then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:
- Capable of removing difficult stains.
- High-quality floor cleaning without streaks.
- The removable main unit and included accessories make it possible to use it as a portable washing vacuum cleaner for cleaning upholstered furniture, glass, and even car interiors.
- It removes dirt along the baseboard better than many similar products.
- Long working time.
- Voice notifications in Russian.
- Increased battery capacity.
- Can also be used for dry cleaning.
There are also disadvantages, namely:
- Non-removable battery.
- There is no coarse filter in the dirty water tank.
- Drying of the roller on the base is not provided.
- There remains a narrow, non-washable zone along the baseboard. Although it's minimal, it's still there.
- Not suitable for cleaning carpets.
- There is no way to regulate the water supply level.
- There is no suction power adjustment.
Ultimately, I can say that some of the comments are typical for most wet/dry vacuum cleaners on the market, and overall, the vacuum cleaner does its job admirably. It not only cleans floors effectively, but is also capable of cleaning furniture and even car interiors, if you use the right cleaning products. It's definitely worth considering and highly recommended.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
