REDMOND RV-R310
The REDMOND RV-R310 is a mid-priced robot vacuum cleaner designed for dry cleaning and wet mopping with a microfiber cloth. It easily cleans hardwood, laminate, and other smooth floors, and can even lightly clean low-pile rugs. A single battery charge provides over an hour of autonomous operation. Design
Let's take a closer look at the robot vacuum cleaner's appearance. It has a somewhat rough appearance, likely due to the lack of a glossy finish. The body is made of plastic, and two primary colors are used: black and gray. The robot is round. The front panel features a single "Clean" power button with an indicator light, as well as a compartment lid with a dust container. There is no display. On the side of the device is a soft protective bumper and ventilation holes.

When viewing the robot vacuum cleaner from the rear, you can see two drive wheels on the sides with an automatic shut-off mechanism when lifted off the surface, one wheel in the front, contact pads for installation on the docking station and automatic recharging, a battery compartment cover, two bladed side brushes, a suction hole, and holes for attaching a wet cleaning nozzle.

Functional capabilities
The REDMOND RV-R310 robot vacuum cleaner cleans using two side brushes and then sucks debris into a 350-milliliter dust collector with an H13 HEPA filter installed.
Dust collector location
The robot can overcome obstacles up to 2 centimeters high and crawl under furniture thanks to its compact height of just 8 centimeters. After finishing its work, the robot automatically returns to the charging base to recharge.
Main operating modes of REDMOND RV-R310:
- Automatic – the robot vacuum cleaner navigates using infrared obstacle sensors, cleans the entire available cleaning area, and automatically plots its path based on the surrounding environment.
- Fixed area cleaning (local, spot or spot mode) – used to clean the dirtiest areas; for example, to clean a rug from wool or spilled cereal/debris;
- along the perimeter – used to remove dust, hair and other debris along walls and in corners;
- "Zigzag" - best suited for cleaning rooms of regular shape (square, rectangle) with a minimum of furniture.
You can manually control the REDMOND RV-R310 robot vacuum cleaner using the remote control in standby mode. You can also set a daily cleaning schedule.
The robot can also perform wet mopping of the floor if you attach a special attachment with a damp microfiber cloth to the bottom.

Advantages and disadvantages
The main advantages of a robot vacuum cleaner:

Disadvantages of REDMOND RV-R310:

- Small dust collector capacity (350 milliliters).
- Poor navigation (the device is equipped with only 4 sensors, which is too little for good spatial orientation).
- High noise level (compared to similar devices in this price segment on the market).
- There is no movement limiter included.
Overall, this model isn't the best in its price range. For the same price, you can buy a robot vacuum cleaner with phone control, a limiter, and higher suction power.
