Equipment

The vacuum cleaner comes with good accessories, and a big plus is that there are additional attachments that can be purchased if needed.

Appearance

Let's move on to a look at the Wollmer D707 Sapphire's exterior. The vacuum cleaner is finished in black and blue. First, let's look at the main unit. The battery is removable, which is a plus. It also houses the charging port.

There's no trigger on the handle. The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing a button on the end. Above that is a button for adjusting the suction power. There are two modes: Normal and Turbo. Above that is a status indicator.

The dust container is emptied by pressing a mechanical latch. The lid on the bottom opens, and debris falls out, preventing direct contact with the contents. The entire container can be detached from the main unit by pressing the corresponding button and turning it clockwise. This allows you to shake out any remaining debris or rinse the container under running water. The filtration system is triple: cyclonic, mesh, HEPA, and blow-out filters. The latter is hidden behind the logo on the main unit and is not accessible.

It's especially worth noting the handle's very pleasant-to-the-touch coating, also known as Soft Touch plastic. The vacuum cleaner is comfortable to hold and doesn't slip.

Now let's look at the main floor nozzle. It features a swivel joint for increased maneuverability. A front LED light provides more thorough cleaning in low-light areas.

To the left of the roller is a locking device that can be removed manually without tools, which is a plus. This roller is suitable for picking up debris on hard floors. The replaceable roller with short bristles is designed for cleaning carpets, but can also be used on hard floors if needed.

And here is the wet cleaning module:

It holds up to 200 ml of water. The cloth is attached with Velcro. Water flows by gravity through two dispenser holes. Attaching to the main nozzle is easy thanks to a magnet. The water inlet has a sealed lid.

Thus, using the Wollmer D707 Sapphire, you can vacuum and mop your floor simultaneously, collecting dust from your flooring. Allergy sufferers will appreciate this solution.

Let's look at the additional attachments. A nozzle with a turbo brush is suitable for cleaning upholstered furniture and upholstery. It also comes disassembled, but you'll need a flat-head screwdriver or at least a coin to use it.

The standard crevice tool is a standard design. However, the optional crevice tool is more interesting. It features a light, which further enhances dust collection in low-light areas. A smart choice!

Here's what the unusual attachment for combing animals looks like:

Unfortunately, there are no pets to show it off to. But I'm sure long-haired dog owners will appreciate it.

The Wollmer D707 Sapphire is very easy to assemble. Each attachment is equipped with a mechanical lock. Everything is easily removed and installed with a single press, and the locking mechanism is smooth. It's also worth noting that the vacuum cleaner has vertical parking, which is a plus.

The build quality is above average. The vacuum cleaner's design is conventional, but the finish and some components are very well crafted.

Testing

A detailed video review of the Wollmer D707 Sapphire, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel. I recommend watching the video:

Opening hours

Let's move on to the tests. First, we tested the Wollmer D707 Sapphire's battery life in Turbo mode with the main floor nozzle attached. The Wollmer D707 Sapphire managed to run for 11 minutes at maximum power. This is a standard result.

Suction power

The Wollmer D707 Sapphire has increased suction power. It easily sucked up debris from a 10mm gap on the stand. That's a plus.

Collecting debris on laminate flooring

The quality of debris collection on laminate floors was also impressive. The Wollmer D707 Sapphire is capable of capturing a wide range of debris, while thoroughly cleaning along baseboards and in corners. The lint roller barely picks up any hair or fur. Most of the debris is collected in the dust bin. Test passed!

Carpet cleaning

The Wollmer D707 Sapphire also does an excellent job of cleaning carpets. At maximum power, it clings so tightly to the carpet that it literally doesn't let go, moving it along with the vacuum cleaner's movements. I had to switch to normal mode to finish the test. But even in normal mode, the Wollmer D707 Sapphire cleans carpets well.

The bristle roller is already coiled with hair. That's what it's designed for. The roller's design is easy to clean. Another test passed!

Simultaneous dry and wet cleaning

Now, I'll demonstrate the wet cleaning attachment in action. As mentioned earlier, it allows you to vacuum and wet clean simultaneously. It's so convenient that when you're near carpets, you can easily detach the tank, vacuum the carpet, and then return to both dry and wet cleaning.

It's also worth noting that the complete kit allows you to clean a sofa, areas beyond the reach of the main nozzle, and even car interiors. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.

Personal opinion

The Wollmer D707 Sapphire was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll share my thoughts on this cordless upright vacuum cleaner after trying it out. I liked the following:

  1. High suction power.
  2. High-quality waste collection on both hard surfaces and carpets.
  3. Ergonomic design.
  4. Vertical parking outside the holder is provided.
  5. Light weight.
  6. Good equipment.
  7. Availability of a nozzle for wet cleaning.
  8. LED illumination of the cleaning area.
  9. Removable battery.
  10. Availability of warranty and service.

Regarding shortcomings, no critical ones were found. A few caveats can be noted when compared to similar products in this segment. For example:

  1. There is no contactless charging on the holder.
  2. There is no LED display on the case.

If these concerns aren't too significant for you, you might want to consider a vacuum cleaner. It's easy to use with one hand, and most importantly, it offers truly high-quality debris collection.

On this note, I'd like to end this review. Thank you all for your attention. Happy shopping. Bye!
