For the price, this robot is equipped with, in my opinion, the best set of features. Most importantly, it has an all-in-one station, which allows the robot to self-clean the dust bin, wash the cloths with warm water, and dry them with warm air. The station can be connected to a sewer or water supply by purchasing the appropriate module. The robot itself also impresses with its capabilities for the price. It features a lidar/object detection system, a turbo brush with blades that cut through tangled hair, and a floor cleaning function with round cloths that lift on carpets and extend one cloth to the baseboard. Overall, the functionality is almost identical to models costing twice as much.

In tests, the Xiaomi Mijia M30S demonstrated truly powerful suction and high-quality debris collection on hard surfaces and low-pile carpets. Floor cleaning was also excellent. There are some issues, detailed in a separate review. But for $300, these will be forgivable for many. In any case, the review is a must-read before purchasing.

By the way, you can also consider its brother as an option for $300 Xiaomi Mijia M30 ProIt has its own strengths and weaknesses, but its main feature is the presence of an accurate object recognition system with artificial intelligence.

Trouver E30 Aqua

  • Price: $200-$300.
  • Navigation: lidar + object detection system.
  • Station functions: washing, drying, automatic detergent dispenser.
  • Suction power up to 10,000 Pa.
  • Dust collector 800 ml.
  • Water tank: none.
  • Tanks in the station: 4 + 3.5 l.
  • Robot dimensions: 350*108 mm.

The silver medalist of our rating is a new product Trouver E30 Aqua.

This machine also features a cleaning station for cleaning cloths. It doesn't have a self-cleaning dust bin, and it doesn't have heated water or air. However, the station allows for high-quality cleaning of large floors, not just with clean water, but with the addition of a proprietary cleaning agent, which improves the cleaning results.

The robot vacuum itself deserves no less attention. It features a lidar sensor and a floor-avoidance system, an updated turbo brush with anti-hair-tangle protection, and two round rotating cleaning pads that automatically lift up on carpets. Instead of extending the pad to the edge, the problem of blind spots has been solved by rotating the body as it navigates the perimeter.

In tests, the Trouver E30 Aqua demonstrated high-quality dry cleaning on various surfaces, including medium-pile carpet. The floor cleaning performance was also impressive. We also appreciated the convenient controls via the proprietary mobile app, which is fully available in Russian, and the official warranty. While the features are slightly inferior to the Xiaomi, it's important to note that the price can drop to a whopping $200 with such features. Overall, it's a well-deserved second place in the ranking.

Incidentally, Trouver has another interesting model for under $300—the Trouver E30 Ultra. It has a self-cleaning dust bin, but lacks an automatic detergent dispenser and features a standard silicone central brush. Perhaps this combination will be more appealing to you.

Roborock Q8 Max Pro+

Specifications:

  • Price: $270-300.
  • Navigation: lidar + object detection system.
  • Station functions: self-cleaning from garbage.
  • Suction power up to 10,000 Pa.
  • Dust collector 350 ml.
  • Water tank: 240 ml.
  • Bag in the station: 2.7 l.
  • Robot dimensions: 353*99 mm.

The Roborock Q8 Max Pro Plus rounds out the top three. It also comes with a station, which costs $270-$300, but it's designed to self-empty the robot's dust bin, emptying debris into a separate bag inside the station.

The robot itself is equipped with a lidar and object detection system, a wet cleaning attachment that automatically lifts when entering carpets, an updated dual-beam side brush, and a bristle-petal turbo brush. Suction power is claimed to be 10,000 Pa. The robot is controlled via a proprietary mobile app in Russian.

I haven't been to the review yet, but given my experience using the previous models in the line and the brand's reputation, I think this is a good option to buy if dry cleaning is your priority, not wet cleaning, and you like the Roborock brand.

Dreame D20 Plus

Specifications:

  • Price: $240-300.
  • Navigation: lidar + object detection system.
  • Station functions: self-cleaning from garbage.
  • Suction power up to 13,000 Pa.
  • Dust collector 500 ml.
  • Water tank: 350 ml.
  • Bag in the station: 5 l.
  • Robot dimensions: 350*97 mm.

The new Dreame D20 Plus is in fourth place. Priced at $260-$300, it also comes with a self-cleaning dust bin.

The robot navigates spatially using a lidar and object detection system. The robot is designed for both dry and wet cleaning, but the cleaning cloth doesn't lift on carpets. This is the only reason I placed it lower than Roborock. However, the central brush unit, consisting of two turbo brushes with different structures, is uniquely designed. This cleaning module performed well in tests on the model. D20 Pro, which was reviewed, and the flagship robots in the line. So, in terms of dry cleaning, the robot does a good job.

The suction power is stated at 13,000 Pa. The robot is controlled via a proprietary app with a user-friendly interface and full Russian localization. It comes with an official warranty, and the brand itself is one of the best in its segment, so I also recommend this model primarily for dry cleaning.

ECOVACS DEEBOT N20 Pro Plus

Specifications:

  • Price: $240-300.
  • Navigation: lidar + object detection system.
  • Station functions: self-cleaning from garbage.
  • Suction power up to 8000 Pa.
  • Dust collector 400 ml.
  • Water tank: 180 ml.
  • Robot dimensions: 353*101 mm.

And finally, the TOP-5 is rounded out by the brainchild of another reputable brand – a robot vacuum cleaner. ECOVACS DEEBOT N20 Pro PlusWhen it launched in late 2024, it cost over $400. Now, the price has fallen within the rating's price range, making it an attractive purchase for that price.

The most interesting feature here is the station, which is designed for self-cleaning the dust container, like the previous two models. However, this station, instead of the usual disposable bags, has a removable cyclone filter flask. No need to spend money on new bags; simply empty the contents into the trash bin and replace the flask. Very convenient!

The robot itself, like all other participants in the rating, is equipped with a lidar and object detection system. The robot collects debris using a side and center brush. The center brush demonstrated high-quality debris collection on various surfaces, including carpets.

The robot's power proved to be high, not just on paper, but in reality. The wet cleaning feature is also well-designed—the nozzle is equipped with a vibrating platform that effectively removes even stains and is suitable for gentle wiping of small areas. The controls are user-friendly, and the app interface is in Russian. The robot's limitations are minimal given its price, so it's recommended for either primarily dry cleaning or for both dry and wet cleaning in areas without carpets.

So, we've reviewed the best robot vacuum cleaners under $300 as of October 2025. I hope you were able to find the best option for your needs and budget from these five models.
