Comparison of Dreame Matrix10 Ultra, Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete and X50 Master / Ultra CompleteComparison of Dreame Matrix10 Ultra, Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete and X50 Master / Ultra Complete

Hello everyone! Welcome to the channel! In this review, I'll compare the best Dreame robot vacuums of 2025, as of November. These include the flagship Dreame Matrix10 Ultra, the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete, and the Dreame X50, which is based on the Master version. The Dreame X50 Ultra Complete, an alternative version, will also be included in the comparison. All four robots are new for 2025 and belong to the premium segment. A review of the specifications, features, and test results will help you choose the best option for your needs. So, let's get started!

Price

First, let's compare the prices of the top-end models in the Dreame line. The flagship is the most expensive. Matrix10Its price at the time of preparing the video is between $1700-1900.

A little cheaper, from 115 to 1400$ Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete.

Official price for Dreame X50 Master The original price is $1,600. However, in many stores it can be ordered for around $120-$1,300, and during sales, such as in November 2025, the price drops to $90-$9.50 at the official AliExpress store.

Well, as for Dreame X50 Ultra Complete On the official website, it's listed for $1,400. Meanwhile, marketplaces offer many offers for $1,100, and during sales, the price drops below $900, even at official brand representatives—half the price of the flagship.

Let's figure out what the extra charge is for and how robot vacuum cleaners differ from each other.

Equipment

Robots come with different kits. The Ultra Complete versions, which include the AquaRoller and X50, are the most fully equipped. They include a one-year supply of all consumables and accessories, including two side brushes, three filters, four spare bags, and either spare cloths or a floor roller.

Appearance and characteristics

Next, let's compare the appearance of Dreame's top new products, as these are where the most significant differences lie. Let's start with the robot vacuums themselves. All four models have a round body, a control panel at the top, a wall sensor on the right, and an object recognition system with a backlight in the center. The Matrix10 and X50 versions feature the AI Action object recognition system. The Aquaroller has a new binocular Stereo Vision system.

All four robots are equipped with a retractable lidar sensor. The X50 Master, Ultar Complete, and Matrix10 have heights of 111 mm (with the lidar up) and 89 mm (with the lidar down), respectively. The Aqua Scooter itself is slightly taller, measuring either 120 mm or 98 mm, depending on the lidar's position.

All robots have dust containers located under the top cover. Since the X50 Ultra Complete and Master robots are identical, only one of them, the Master, was used for comparison. The X50 versions have larger dust containers, with a capacity of 395 ml. The Matrix10 has a slightly smaller capacity, although the container appears identical. However, it holds 310 ml. The Aquaroller has the smallest dust container, with a capacity of 220 ml.

However, due to the operating principle of the cleaning module, the Aquaroller has a dirty water tank and a slightly larger built-in clean water tank. Its capacity is 100 ml, while other comparable models have 80 ml.

And now we've reached the most important stage of the comparison: the cleaning modules. All robots have identical dust collection brushes: a single retractable side brush and dual HyperStream turbo brushes.

Cleaning modules

The only difference is that the Matrix10 has an additional turbo brush pressure during dry cleaning, if you enable this feature in the app. The cleaning modules are different, however. The Dreame X50 and Matrix10 have round rotating pads with a slight difference, which will be discussed later. The Aquaroller, on the other hand, has a cleaning roller. It's best to check out the Aquaroller and the compared robots in more detail, as well as a separate video on my channel, where I Compared a vibrating wipe, round rotating wipes, and a cleaning roller Indicative tests will help further understand the issue. Also, the test results specifically for the compared models, published below, will help clarify the differences.

The Matrix10's cloth design differs from that of the X50. The flagship model now features a 10-degree tilt angle in all directions, as well as height adjustment with a 3 mm stroke, allowing for more effective cleaning of textured and uneven surfaces.

The robots also differ in their cross-country ability. According to the manufacturers, the X50 series can climb thresholds up to 42 mm high in one level and up to 60 mm in two levels. The Aqua Scooter and Matrix 10 can also climb 42 mm in one level, but up to 80 mm in two levels. The updated wheel tread and additional body lift likely contributed to this.

Now that we've covered the robots, I'll tell you how the stations differ. Well, firstly, their dimensions, which will be listed in the table below.

Secondly, the water tank capacity. The Matrix10 has the largest capacity, the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete has a slightly smaller capacity, and the X50 Master has no tank at all, as it connects directly to the sewer and water supply. The X50 Ultra Complete boasts larger tanks than the AquaRoller, but smaller than the Matrix10.

Water tanks

The robots have identical dust bags, but different detergent tanks. The Matrix10 has a detergent tank with separate compartments for different types of wipes and different cleaning conditions. The Aqua10 Ultra Roller has two compartments, while the X50 has one compartment for Dreame all-purpose detergent.

Detergent tanks

The Matrix10 and X50 have virtually identical bases, without ridges. The only difference is that the X50 Master has a fully removable wipes tray, which is integrated with the robot's access ramp. This is incredibly convenient. The Aquaroller has its own unique roller wash tray. The wash/dry temperatures also differ, as I'll explain in the tables.

And the icing on the cake, the flagship Matrix10's signature feature is its automatic cloth replacement function. I described it in a detailed review of the robot. Here, I'll just reiterate that this feature allows you to use different types of cloths for different areas, significantly improving cleaning hygiene. This feature is the reason the station is so large. The X50 Master, on the other hand, has the smallest station due to the lack of tanks. It's ideal for integration into kitchen cabinets or other furniture to hide the robot from prying eyes and save space.

The video comparison clearly shows the differences in appearance:

The main thing is that the flagship Dreame Matrix10 Ultra is actually more powerful than the other robots in the lineup, removing stains faster, having a higher cleaning temperature for its cleaning cloths, and even a hot-air drying function for the dust bag. There's a slight drop in object recognition accuracy in the dark, but I think this will be addressed with a firmware update. Battery life is weaker compared to the X50 models, which is due to its 1.5 times greater suction power with the same battery.

The Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete also suffered a slight loss in battery life, while its actual power is lower than that of the flagship model, at par with the X50 series. The new object recognition system is inferior to the tried-and-true AI-Action system, but I think we need to wait for a couple of firmware updates here too. The roller itself performed worse in removing tough stains, compared to round cleaning pads, which are significantly more effective. The X50 series robots performed averagely, improving in some ways compared to their older models, while falling short in others. All results are shown in the table.

Personal opinion

So, what's the bottom line? The flagship Dreame Matrix10 Ultra is undoubtedly superior to its predecessors in terms of power, dirt removal performance, maneuverability, robot functionality, and station capabilities. However, I wouldn't say the X50 is significantly inferior in key areas, especially when evaluating cleaning performance in a home environment. The key feature here is the cloth changer at the station, which is actually quite interesting and will be useful for those who need such a feature.

But at the same time, the X50 Ultra Complete also looks good in comparison to the Matrix, especially considering that during the sales period it costs almost half as much with the same cleaning module and basic features.

And when it comes to station size, the difference is enormous and will be decisive for many. That's why I ultimately chose the Dreame X50 Master. It fits compactly in the kitchen, where it's connected to the sewer and water supply.

I think for many, the choice between the Matrix10 and X50 Ultra Complete will only be relevant given the small price difference. I hope the flagship's price will drop to a more affordable level soon. In any case, the comparison showed that the difference between these robots isn't just in the stations.

The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete is a unique robot with its own unique features, making it a perfect choice for those looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner. The roller's self-cleaning feature, which uses clean water while cleaning without requiring a stop at a cleaning station, is a unique feature that significantly improves floor cleaning performance. Even though the roller isn't as effective at removing stains, it handles lighter stains better, cleaning floors without leaving streaks or marks. So, I'm confident this robotic vacuum will find its target audience. The main thing is to address the issues raised in the review.

In any case, all four robot vacuums turned out to be very effective and functional. The fact that they all rank in the top 5 overall ranking of robot vacuums tested, of which over 200 were already tested on the project, is indirect evidence of their competitiveness in the market.

That's all from me. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
