Dreame Trouver K10 Pro: rinses at the edge, disinfects water, and detects dirt

Hello to all readers of this project! This review will focus on the Dreame Trouver K10 Pro upright vacuum cleaner. Priced between $230 and $270, this device boasts a roller located at the edge of the unit, a clean water disinfection function in the tank, an automatic mode, and suction power reaching 15,000 Pa. At first glance, it seems like a decent set of features for the price. Below, I'll thoroughly test the Dreame Trouver K10 Pro, highlight its pros and cons based on the test results, and then express my opinion. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The washing vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:
The package includes:
- The vacuum cleaner itself.
- Removable handle.
- Base for charging and self-cleaning.
- Power adapter.
- Vacuum cleaner cleaning tool.
- Operating instructions.
Appearance
Now let's take a look at how the Dreame Trouver K10 Pro works. The operating principle is quite familiar: clean water is supplied to the roller as it rotates, after which the waste water is collected by scrapers and sucked into the dirty water tank.
The roller extends to the edge of the body on one side, which allows for better cleaning of the area along walls and furniture.
The top cover is removable. The roller is removed from the side; its structure is familiar—made of soft bristles. Behind the roller is a metal plate for scraping debris from the roller's surface during self-cleaning, a rubber squeegee for collecting liquid residue from the floor, and a suction port.
Above the cleaning module are the water tanks. In front is the dirty water tank, which holds 600 ml. It contains a HEPA filter with a mesh screen and electronic water level sensors. There is no coarse filter for used water.
The clean water tank has a capacity of 890 ml. A module is installed inside to disinfect clean water before it reaches the roller.
The Dreame Trouver K10 Pro is controlled by buttons on the handle. These buttons turn the power on/off, switch operating modes, and initiate the self-cleaning function. There are three operating modes: automatic, liquid suction mode without water, and Turbo mode. In automatic mode, the Dreame Trouver K10 Pro automatically adjusts suction power depending on how dirty the floor is.
All information is displayed on an informative LED display. Everything is intuitive, and the vacuum cleaner also features a Russian-language voice assistant.
As for the docking station, the vacuum cleaner charges and self-cleans on it. Unfortunately, there's no automatic drying function for the roller after self-cleaning.
The pros and cons of this design will be discussed during the final review. Let's move on!
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the Dreame Trouver K10 Pro, as stated by the manufacturer, are displayed on the screen:
- Battery: Li-Ion, 2400 mAh
- Power consumption: 220 W
- Suction power: up to 15,000 Pa
- Working time: up to 30 min
- Clean water tank: 890 ml
- Dirty water tank: 600 ml
- Noise level: 72.5-75 dB
I personally tested the noise level and found it to be between 72.5 and 75 dB, which is in line with similar devices.
The remaining specifications are also on par with most other mid-priced wet/dry vacuum cleaners. The only notable feature is the slightly larger water tanks, especially for clean water.
Testing
A detailed video review with all tests has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Well, finally, the tests are in! The Dreame Trouver K10 Pro handles daily floor cleaning with ease—both laminate and tile. It leaves no streaks, and it's safe for delicate surfaces, too, if used correctly.
But that's not all! This wet/dry vacuum cleaner not only cleans, but also vacuums up liquids. And in my case, it passed my durability test with flying colors—an egg and flour mixture disappeared without a trace.
Moreover, the Dreame Trouver K10 Pro perfectly removes even slightly dried-on dirt. And here's what we see: the floor is clean, without any marks or streaks.
Moreover, thanks to the roller extending to the edge of the device, it can clean dirt closer to baseboards and furniture. In reality, the blind zone is about 5 mm, while most similar devices have a blind zone of about 15-20 mm. Still, the company's engineers still have room for improvement.
This wet/dry vacuum cleaner was able to remove tough, dried-on coffee and sauce stains. As with similar products, it took some time to remove the sauce stains. In my case, it took four and a half minutes to remove all the major stains.
This is an excellent result. Many similar products take 8 to 10 minutes to complete this task. Note that I only used water because the proprietary cleaning solution is not included.
Additionally, this wet/dry vacuum cleaner can also be used for dry cleaning. However, large debris, such as cat litter pellets, can clog the roller. Otherwise, it easily picks up debris of various textures from the floor. All debris is collected from the stand, including corners and along baseboards. That's a plus!
Since this is a wet/dry vacuum cleaner, using it for carpet cleaning isn't entirely practical. However, it's possible if you don't add water to the tank or select the liquid mode—that is, simply vacuuming debris without adding water. Despite its fluffy texture, the roller handles pet hair and other debris on low-pile carpet.
The Dreame Trouver K10 Pro isn't suitable for use on fluffy carpets due to the structure of its roller. While it can still pick up debris on the surface, it doesn't dislodge it from the pile like traditional upright dry vacuums.
Another caveat: debris can clog the filtration system and suction channel. Without water, the suction system doesn't work properly, and the vacuum cleaner is designed specifically for cleaning floors.
Overall, I still recommend cleaning carpets with a regular upright vacuum cleaner, or entrusting this task to a robotic vacuum cleaner of suitable design and power. Even the Trouver line offers suitable options for both robotic and upright vacuums.
After all the tests, the self-cleaning performance of the wet/dry vacuum cleaner was also checked. After self-cleaning, the roller was almost clean. However, some debris remained above the scrapers. After household use and tests with a mixture of eggs and flour, we saw some hair stuck to the lid. However, the roller and scrapers were cleaned well.
Overall, the self-cleaning feature isn't perfect, but it does its job to a large extent and is clearly no worse than most similar products.
Personal opinion
The Dreame Trouver K10 Pro upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight the pros and cons I discovered, then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:
- The vacuum cleaner is capable of removing difficult stains faster than its analogues.
- The roller extends closer to the edge of the body to clean the floor closer to baseboards and furniture.
- Disinfection of water during floor washing.
- Automatic power increase mode.
- Informative display on the body.
- Large capacity water tanks.
- Built-in voice assistant.
- Overall, ergonomic design and stylish execution.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Among the disadvantages I would highlight:
- There is no roller drying at the station.
- Large household waste blocks the roller.
- There is still a blind zone between the edge of the roller and the baseboard, although it is smaller than with many similar products.
- Non-removable battery.
- Not suitable for cleaning carpets.
- There is no way to regulate the water supply level.
Overall, the advantages far outweigh the concerns shared by most wet/dry vacuum cleaners. The main one is the lack of a roller drying function. Overall, after reviewing the Trouver K10 Pro, my overall impressions are positive. It performs its primary function well, and the brand itself is Dreame, one of the market leaders. Therefore, it's a recommended purchase!
On that note, I'd like to end this review. Thank you all for your attention, and happy shopping. Bye!
