Trouver X4 Pro: hot water floor cleaning with spray and convenient docking

Trouver X4 ProTrouver X4 Pro

The Trouver X4 Pro upright vacuum cleaner is a new product for 2025, boasting many interesting features. It features self-cleaning with a hot water roller that reaches 100 degrees Celsius, water heating up to 80 degrees Celsius for floor cleaning, a separate hot water spray from a nozzle above the roller, and a 180-degree tilt angle, which is trendy for 2025. And that's far from all the Trouver X4 Pro has to offer. The price isn't exactly budget-friendly, either. At the time of writing, it's priced at around $600. Below, I'll thoroughly test this upright vacuum cleaner, highlight its pros and cons, and then share my personal opinion. Let's get started!

Appearance

Let's take a look at how the Trouver X4 Pro works. It's designed in a familiar way: clean water is supplied to the roller as it rotates, after which the waste water is collected by scrapers and sucked into the dirty water tank.

The roller extends to the edge of the body on both sides, which allows for better cleaning of the area along walls and furniture.

The top cover is removable. It reveals a water sprayer.

The roller itself is held in place by a cross-shaped holder, as is the case with most new products. The roller's structure is familiar—soft bristles. The manufacturer claims the material is heat-resistant and won't be damaged by hot water.

Behind the roller, we see lamps that illuminate the spray area from a separate nozzle. Also in front of the suction opening, we see a comb for combing out tangled hair and fur from the roller.

Water tank

The water tank is located on the back of the roller, shifting the center of gravity downwards. The capacity has been increased to 760 ml.

Above it, as usual, there is a dirty water tank with a capacity of 730 ml.

Inside, there's a HEPA filter with a mesh, a coarse liquid filter, and electronic water level sensors. Note that the tank has two maximum liquid level lines: one for when the vacuum cleaner is in an upright position and one for when it's laid flat on the floor.

As already mentioned, the Trouver X4 Pro has a tilt angle of 180 degrees, just like its predecessor, the Trouver K30, which is reviewed on the channel.

This means that it can be used to wash the floor under furniture with a clearance height of 13 cm or more.

The wet/dry vacuum cleaner is controlled by buttons on the handle. There are four of them: power on/off, mode switching, self-cleaning function activation on the base, and a manual water spray button.

The Trouver X4 Pro has four modes: Smart (aka Automatic), Ultra, a dry suction mode, and a hot water rinse. All information is displayed on a large, beautiful display. I'd also like to add that the vacuum cleaner now features voice prompts in Russian.

The station deserves special attention. It charges the Trouver X4 Pro, self-cleans with hot water, and dries the roller with hot air after self-cleaning.

The water temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius. The air temperature during drying can reach 90 degrees Celsius, allowing the roller to be completely dry in 5 minutes. Very cool! I also loved the design of the base. It features a ramp for smooth entry of the vacuum cleaner to the charging terminals. This eliminates the need to lift the vacuum cleaner to place it on the charger. This is a unique design that I haven't seen before in similar vacuum cleaners.

The pros and cons of the wet/dry vacuum cleaner's design will be discussed in the final review. Let's move on!

Technical specifications

The main characteristics of the Trouver X4 Pro, as stated by the manufacturer, are displayed on the screen:

I'd like to highlight the increased battery capacity and increased vacuum power compared to similar products. I personally tested the noise level, which is in the range of 71-76 dB, which is standard.

Testing

A detailed video review of the Trouver X4 Pro, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:

Let's get to the tests! The Trouver X4 Pro handles daily floor cleaning with ease—both laminate and tile. It leaves no streaks, and it's safe for delicate surfaces, too, when used correctly.

Trouver X4 Pro: Everyday Floor CleaningTrouver X4 Pro: Everyday Floor Cleaning

Everyday floor cleaning

The vacuum cleaner not only cleans floors but also picks up liquids. In my case, it passed my durability test with flying colors—an egg and flour mixture disappeared without a trace.

Moreover, the Trouver X4 Pro removes even slightly dried-on dirt. And here's what we see: the floor is clean, without any marks or streaks.

Washing the floor from dirt

Moreover, thanks to the roller extending out from both sides of the body, the device is capable of cleaning dirt closer to baseboards and furniture. In reality, the blind zone is about 5 mm, while most similar devices have a blind zone of about 15-20 mm. Still, the company's engineers still have room for improvement if they so desire.

This wet/dry vacuum cleaner was able to remove tough, dried-on coffee and sauce stains. As with similar products, it took some time to remove the sauce stains. In my case, it took four and a half minutes to remove all the main stains using the included cleaning solution.

Trouver X4 Pro: Floor cleaning for tough stainsTrouver X4 Pro: Floor cleaning for tough stains

Washing floors from difficult stains

This is an excellent result, but I expected the vacuum to complete the task even faster, as it sprayed hot water from the top nozzle, which should have helped dissolve stains faster. Another issue is that in hot water mode, the suction power, as I understand it, is not at its maximum. It can't be manually adjusted, which would have been helpful and would have allowed for faster stain removal if it had hot water, a spray, and maximum power. In any case, many similar vacuums take 8 to 10 minutes to complete this task.

Furthermore, the wet/dry vacuum cleaner in question can also be used for dry cleaning. It picked up almost all the debris from the laminate flooring. The only minor issues were with larger debris, such as cat litter pellets, which weren't captured by the roller.

Collecting debris on laminate flooring

It also handled both granules and other types of debris on carpet, thoroughly cleaning the surface. It can even superficially clean medium-pile carpets. However, for such cleaning, I'd still recommend using a full-featured upright vacuum cleaner or a robotic vacuum.

Carpet cleaning

The problem is that without water in suction mode, hair and other debris can accumulate behind the roller and clog the suction system, which is what happened in my case. Vertical mops with automatic water supply are best used for cleaning floors.

I also tested how the Trouver X4 Pro handles detangling the roller. The roller is clean, and the combs are free of debris. All hair is collected in the dirty water tank. Test successful!

Condition of the roller

Finally, let's check the roller's self-cleaning performance. Here's its condition after self-cleaning from dirt, coffee, and ketchup. The roller is thoroughly cleaned. Both the lid and the suction channel behind the roller are clean.

Self-cleaning quality

I think the self-cleaning feature is very well implemented in this model. The drying feature, too, dries the entire roller quickly and effectively!

Personal opinion

The Trouver X4 Pro upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. Here's what I liked:

  1. Capable of removing even stubborn stains faster than its analogues.
  2. A spray nozzle above the roller allows you to manually increase the water flow and dissolve stains.
  3. Floor washing and self-cleaning of the roller with hot water.
  4. Fast and efficient drying of the roller with hot air.
  5. High-quality self-cleaning of the roller, including removal of hair and fur.
  6. Automatic power increase mode when contamination is detected.
  7. The roller comes out to the edge of the body on both sides.
  8. Horizontal floor cleaning is supported thanks to the vacuum cleaner being able to be folded out 180 degrees.
  9. High suction power, judging by the stated characteristics.
  10. Capacious battery and therefore long operating time.
  11. High-quality waste collection on hard surfaces and low-pile carpets.
  12. Informative display on the body.
  13. Built-in voice notifications in Russian.
  14. Good kit, which includes spare consumables and branded cleaning agent.
  15. Ergonomic design and stylish execution.
  16. Increased capacity of water tanks.
  17. Convenient base design allows you to place the vacuum cleaner on charge and self-cleaning without having to lift it.
  18. Availability of warranty and service.

As for drawbacks, in my opinion, the only significant one is the price. The Trouver X4 Pro is truly premium. There are also some minor issues, such as:

  1. There is no option to manually adjust the suction power so that you can wash the floor with hot water at maximum power.
  2. There is still a minimal blind spot due to the fasteners on the edges of the rollers.
  3. Non-removable battery.
  4. Not suitable for cleaning medium pile carpets.

Overall, the last three comments are typical for most wet/dry vacuum cleaners, while the first two are unique to this model. In any case, this wet/dry vacuum cleaner performs its primary function well. It's convenient, ergonomic, and practical.

Definitely worth a look and a must-have if your budget is unlimited. On that note, I'd like to end this review. Thank you all for your attention, and happy shopping. Bye!
