Appearance

Now let's look at how the Redkey W15 works. It has a familiar design and operating principle. Clean water is supplied to a roller, which cleans the floor. The waste water is pumped into a dedicated tank, thereby self-cleaning the roller during operation.

Cleaning module

The cleaning module consists of a single roller positioned towards the edge of the body for more thorough cleaning of the floor along walls and furniture.

The top cap is removable, and the roller is held in place by a side clip. The roller's structure is familiar—soft, short bristles.

Behind the roller we see a metal plate for scraping off debris, a suction hole and a scraper for collecting residual liquid from the floor.

A 600 ml dirty water tank is mounted above the cleaning module. It contains a HEPA filter with a mesh screen and water level sensors. There is no coarse filter for cleaning liquids.

Testing

Well, here we go, finally, the tests! A detailed video review has already been prepared and published on the channel:

The Redkey W15 handles daily floor cleaning well, whether it's laminate or tile. It leaves no streaks, making it safe for delicate surfaces when used correctly.

The vacuum cleaner is also suitable not only for cleaning floors but also for picking up liquids. In my case, it passed my durability test with flying colors—an egg and flour mixture disappeared without a trace.

Moreover, the Redkey W15 easily removes slightly dried dirt from the floor. And here's what we see: the floor is clean, without any marks or streaks.

I'll note that the rollerball is held in place by a clip at the edge of the housing, leaving a small blind spot of about 5 mm. But even this result is good compared to many similar products, whose blind spots can reach up to 2 cm.

Blind spot

This wet/dry vacuum cleaner was able to remove tough, dried-on coffee and sauce stains. As with similar products, it took some time to remove the sauce stains. In my case, it took 4.5 minutes to remove all the main stains. And this was without using any detergent, just clean water. Excellent results! Many similar products take 8 to 10 minutes to complete this task.

Removing difficult stains

Let's see how the Redkey W15 handles dust collection. It's up to the task on hard surfaces, and there aren't any blind spots as such. The only caveat is that the lack of combs behind the roller can cause hair to become tangled. Additionally, this vacuum cleaner has a hard time picking up larger debris due to its design.

As for carpets, this vacuum cleaner can pick up surface debris from low and medium pile carpets in wet mode, but it's not designed for such tasks. Therefore, don't expect it to clean the pile thoroughly, and debris can get stuck behind the roller and block the suction channel. In general, a robotic vacuum cleaner or an upright dry vacuum cleaner is more suitable for these tasks.

After all the tests, I'll show you the self-cleaning performance. After rinsing at the base, it looks visually better:

However, after testing it in a home environment, I have one complaint: this wet/dry vacuum cleaner doesn't clean the top cover very well. Hair tends to stick to it. But to be fair, the roller itself is clean, as is the suction channel behind it.

Personal opinion

The Redkey W15 upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight the pros and cons I discovered, and then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:

Pros:

  1. It can remove even stubborn dirt and stains, and faster than many similar products.
  2. It cleans various floor coverings well and is suitable for collecting liquids.
  3. Can be used to collect waste of various structures on hard surfaces.
  4. The roller is shifted to the edge of the body, which allows for better cleaning of the floor along furniture and walls.
  5. Increased volume of clean water tank.
  6. The kit includes spare accessories for the first period of using the vacuum cleaner.
  7. Support for voice notifications in Russian.
  8. Warranty and service included. The warranty has been extended to 2 years.

From the comments I can highlight:

  1. There is still a blind zone between the edge of the roller and the baseboard, although it is smaller than with many similar products.
  2. There is no coarse filter in the dirty water tank.
  3. There is no automatic drying function for the roller on the base.
  4. Non-removable battery.
  5. There is no adjustment of the water supply level.
  6. There are problems with the self-cleaning of the cleaning module from hair that sticks to the top cover.

Ultimately, I find this wet/dry vacuum cleaner to be on par with most similar products in the $200 price range. It's inferior in some ways, and superior in others, so you'll need to weigh the pros and cons based on your own circumstances. I have no complaints about its cleaning performance; it's excellent. My main criticisms relate to the design, which is due to its mid-range price, which is why it lacks some features.

On that note, I'd like to end this review. Thank you all for your attention, and happy shopping. Bye!
