Atvel Zorro Z6: A Stylish, Budget-Friendly Window Cleaning Robot

The Atvel Zorro Z6 is a new window cleaning robot with an appealing design and price tag of $110-$130. This budget-friendly price, coupled with a full warranty and service, is something few other window cleaning robots on the market can boast. So, I've shown you how the Atvel Zorro Z6 works, its features, and, most importantly, how it performs its primary function. Let's get started!
Equipment
The window cleaning robot arrived in this branded box:
The package includes:
- Power unit.
- Extension.
- Cord for connecting the power supply to the network.
- Remote control with batteries.
- 6 sets of spare napkins.
- 2 spare napkin holders.
- Operating instructions.
The package is standard, let's move on!
Appearance
Let's take a look at the Atvel Zorro Z6's design. Its color is definitely one of its standout features. The body is purple, while the napkins are burgundy. It looks very stylish! The safety cable is removable and attached to the robot out of the box. A convenient handle is mounted on the top of the body for gripping the robot. This handle houses the main motor's ventilation holes. The body is 11.5 cm tall.
The body contains a power connector and a mechanical on/off button. Below, we see two round, rotating wipe holders. Between them are the robot's status indicators.
Overall, the Atvel Zorro Z6 has a standard design. Nothing new has been implemented, but given the price, I wasn't expecting much. However, if the robot had an automatic liquid feed feature, it would be really nice.
Functions
All the functions of the window cleaning robot are concentrated on the remote control. These include manual control, window cleaning start, one of three automatic modes, cleaning stop, and start/pause. Again, nothing out of the ordinary, but these functions are sufficient for the robot's primary purpose. Control via a mobile app is also not provided.
Technical specifications
Main characteristics of Atvel Zorro Z6:
- Backup battery: Li-Ion, 600 mAh.
- Power consumption: 80 W.
- Suction power: up to 3500 Pa.
- Battery life: up to 30 min.
- Dimensions: 290*145*115 mm.
- Weight: 0.9 kg.
- Noise level:
I personally tested the noise level. When running a robotic window cleaner indoors, its noise level is between 71 and 72.5 dB. However, when cleaning the outside of the window, you can close the sash, and the noise level is minimal—48 to 52 dB. This depends entirely on the soundproofing quality of your double-glazed window.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Atvel Zorro Z6, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Navigation and window cleaning quality
And finally, let's move on to the tests. You can simultaneously observe the Atvel Zorro Z6's navigation and the quality of its dirt removal from the outside of the window. I can say that the robot navigates well, doesn't slip, and is capable of cleaning even narrow windows as small as 38 cm. The dirt removal performance itself is on par with premium-quality cleaners. Here's a visual comparison of the window condition before and after:
Continuing my navigation testing, I can confirm that the Atvel Zorro Z6 can easily operate even on larger windows measuring 150 x 90 cm. Thanks to the 5-meter extension, it can be used even on taller windows.
You can see that it's truly effective and gets the job done. The only thing I'd like to point out is that I ran the robot twice on each section. The first time, I used dry wipes to collect the bulk of the dirt and dust. The second time, I applied window cleaner to the wipes to increase cleaning effectiveness. Here's the condition of the wipes after the tests:
Regarding the quality of window cleaning, there's only one caveat, typical of all robotic window cleaners: these devices aren't yet capable of effectively cleaning dirt in corners due to their design. But it will definitely help you get the bulk of the job done.
Application on other surfaces
This robot can also be used to clean tiled walls, shower stalls and mirrors.
It's even important to note that the Atvel Zorro Z6 detects the edges of frameless surfaces and is able to gently roll away from them without losing traction. That's a plus!
But on horizontal surfaces, it can't function properly. It can approach the edge and lose traction, causing a slip. This is worth keeping in mind.
Emergency mode
Let me explain how the Atvel Zorro Z6 operates in emergency mode. When disconnected from the power supply, the robot starts beeping and the red indicators on both sides of the body flash. This allows you to quickly detect the problem and remove the robot from the window.
Personal opinion
The Atvel Zorro Z6 window cleaning robot was reviewed and tested. I'll share the pros and cons I discovered about this model. I liked the following:
- Budget price.
- Good navigation.
- Good quality window cleaning.
- Stylish design.
- Capable of removing light stains.
- Suitable for washing frameless surfaces.
- Can be used to wash mirrors, walls and other hard surfaces.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Speaking of drawbacks, the main one is typical of absolutely all robotic window cleaners: the Atvel Zorro Z6 doesn't clean into corners. Other minor complaints include its tendency to lose grip and error when cleaning horizontal frameless surfaces, and its lack of a water spray feature, which is already available in this price range. Otherwise, for the price, the device has no serious flaws and is definitely recommended. Considering its color scheme, it would definitely be an interesting gift option for a girl.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!

A nice washer. I want to order one now. I know the manufacturer; we gave it to friends as gifts.
