Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules: A POWERFUL cordless vacuum cleaner with SMART features

The Jimmy H10 Pro is one of the most powerful cordless vacuum cleaners in the world, if not the most powerful. The manufacturer claims a suction power of up to 245 watts, and this is with a power consumption of 650 watts. At the time of writing, this is a record-breaking figure among the upright vacuum cleaners tested. Furthermore, the device boasts a full set of accessories, an ergonomic design, and advanced features that make it not only powerful but also smart. And all this for $320. That's the price of the vacuum at the time of writing. At the exchange rate, that's just over $400. So, below, I'll thoroughly test the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules, after which I'll express my opinion on whether it's worth buying. So, let's get started!
Equipment
The vacuum cleaner package includes:
- Main block.
- Removable battery.
- Power adapter.
- Operating instructions translated into Russian.
- Extension tube with bendable elbow.
- Basic floor nozzle.
- Nozzle with turbo brush for cleaning upholstered furniture.
- Floor stand base and components for its assembly.
- Flexible hose.
- Replacement roller for the main attachment.
- Soft bristle attachment.
- Attachment with sliding bristles.
- Rotary connector.
This upright vacuum cleaner comes with a very good set of accessories. It comes with a full set of attachments and cleaning accessories, which is a plus!
Appearance
Now let's take a look at the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules' design. Let's start with the main unit. It's gray with bronze accents. In true Jimmy style, the dust container is positioned transversely across the body. This design, according to the manufacturer, ensures more powerful and longer-lasting suction. It minimizes blockages in the suction channel, reducing the chance of it becoming clogged.
The vacuum cleaner's handle is very conveniently designed. Mechanical control buttons are located under your thumb: power on/off and power adjustment. There are four power levels: Eco, Automatic, Turbo, and Maximum. In automatic mode, the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules can automatically increase suction power depending on the type of flooring and how dirty it is. This is a plus.
Behind the buttons is an informative LED display that displays all the important information: battery level, selected mode, and service messages. Furthermore, the vacuum cleaner can automatically count the size of the collected debris and dust particles, collecting cleaning statistics. Another smart solution from Jimmy engineers.
The battery is removable, which is good.
The dust container opens with the press of a button. The bottom folds down, and all the debris falls out. Unfortunately, the dust container itself cannot be removed from the housing. The filtration system consists of a mesh, a cyclone, and a pre-motor HEPA filter.
Now let's look at the main floor nozzle. It features a swivel joint. A front LED light enhances cleaning in low-light areas. The fluffy roller is better suited for cleaning hard floors. It has an interesting appearance, with gold-colored fibers inside, adding a touch of premium appeal. A fairly large suction hole is located behind the roller. The roller itself is held in place by a clip that can be removed without tools. Another clever feature is the comb behind the roller, which prevents hair and fur from getting tangled.
Instead of a fluffy roller for hard floors, you can install a bristle-petal roller. It's more versatile and suitable for all surfaces, but has proven especially effective for cleaning carpets.
The extension wand and main nozzle are attached using clips. The operation is smooth. And here's how the folding elbow of the extension wand works. Press the clip, and the wand folds away. A very convenient solution, allowing you to vacuum under low furniture without bending over.
The included attachments are essentially standard. The mini furniture brush features a bristle-and-petal roller that attaches to the side and is easily removed without tools.
I've seen two bristle attachments in similar designs on vacuum cleaners from other brands before. However, they skimped on the crevice tool; it doesn't have the trendy LED lighting or retractable bristles. But that's not a deal-breaker.
Here's what the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules looks like assembled:
Visually, it certainly commands respect. It looks stylish, expensive, and most importantly, it's easy to use.
One caveat: there's no vertical parking option outside the holder. The main unit is tilted, and the vacuum cleaner can't maintain its balance.
It's also worth noting that the device has built-in voice notifications. However, in my case, they were in English.
Well, here's what it looks like to store the vacuum cleaner and all its accessories on the stand:
Again, it's very convenient, everything is in one place, but I have a complaint about the engineers. Why didn't they implement contactless charging of the vacuum cleaner on the holder?! You have to manually connect the cord to the battery port.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules, as stated by the manufacturer:
- Power consumption 650 W.
- Suction power up to 245 aW.
- Li-Ion battery 3000 mAh.
- Dust collector 600 ml.
- Operating time up to 90 min.
- Noise level 77.5-85.5 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.86 kg.
The exceptional suction power is worth highlighting. I personally haven't encountered a vacuum cleaner that claims to have more watts. Even the flagship model from market leaders, the Dyson V15, only reaches 230 watts of suction. And yet, its price tag is more than twice as high. The maximum runtime is also impressive; it's enough for a thorough cleaning.
Regarding weight, the main unit weighs 1982 grams, the extension tube weighs 410 grams, and the main nozzle weighs 761 grams. The total weight of the vacuum cleaner, fully assembled, is 3153 grams. It's slightly heavier than similar models, but not significantly so. The center of gravity is well-distributed, so your hand won't get tired while using it. It's also worth noting that the main unit is heavier than the previously tested Jimmy H8 Flex Hercules. However, the main units appear identical. This suggests that they actually have a more powerful motor inside the vacuum, rather than just a faster speed.
I personally tested the noise level. In automatic mode, it's between 77-78 dB, while in Eco mode, it's slightly lower at 76 dB. In Turbo mode, it rises to 78 dB, and at maximum power, the peak was 79.1 dB. This model's noise level is elevated, but not alarming. The very high suction power is also worth considering.
Testing
A detailed video review with all the tests has already been published on the channel. I highly recommend watching the video:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules' runtime at maximum power. The vacuum cleaner managed to run for 12 minutes and 7 seconds at maximum power, then automatically reduced power and ran for another 4 minutes and 33 seconds before the battery was completely discharged. That's a total runtime of 16 minutes and 40 seconds. A good result!
Suction power
Regarding suction power, even in Eco mode, the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules was able to suck up debris from a 10mm gap. In Auto mode, it completely removed debris from crevices, thoroughly cleaning the stand. This vacuum cleaner definitely has very strong suction power.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well this vacuum cleaner picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This vacuum cleaner performed well. It's important to note that it has no trouble picking up debris along baseboards or in corners. It picks everything up thoroughly, with no blind spots. The roller doesn't pick up any hair or lint.
And here's how the particle size counting system works:
Not exactly useful, but definitely an interesting solution. Test passed!
Carpet cleaning
Speaking of carpet cleaning, the replaceable bristle-and-petal roller was installed for this test. The vacuum cleaner performed well, thoroughly cleaning the carpet. The roller also didn't pick up any hair or lint. Another test passed!
Using additional attachments
It's also worth noting that the complete kit allows you to clean a sofa, areas beyond the reach of the main nozzle, and even car interiors. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll tell you how to clean the dust bin. Press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. Hair and fur can get stuck in the bin. This is where you can completely remove the filtration system and shake out the debris.
Personal opinion
The Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules cordless vacuum cleaner has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll first highlight my own pros and cons based on my testing and experience with it, then summarize.
I liked the following:
- Highest suction power.
- Good quality of waste collection on different surfaces.
- Ergonomic design.
- Long working time.
- Complete set of attachments and accessories.
- Convenient storage on a floor holder.
- Smart features such as automatic power boost and particle counting with fractionation.
- Removable battery.
- Folding extension tube.
- Informative LED display.
- High quality assembly.
- The optimal price, considering the premium features, accessories, and how the vacuum cleaner is assembled.
Speaking of drawbacks, the vacuum cleaner is largely free of any. The only nitpicks are the lack of vertical parking and, perhaps more surprisingly, the lack of wireless charging on the floor stand. But compared to its advantages, these are extremely minor issues.
I'll say for myself that the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules is the best cordless vacuum cleaner I've tested to date. It's truly powerful, very convenient, and very stylish. What more could you want? Especially for the price. Definitely one of the best options to buy in 2023, if not the best.
