Eufy RoboVac 15T

In this review, we'll take a look at the Eufy RoboVac 15T (T2115) robotic vacuum cleaner for dry floor cleaning, which falls into the mid-price range (averaging around $150). While the robot doesn't have any special features or functionality, it's quite capable of helping you maintain your home's daily cleanliness. This model is designed for use on various floor types, including low-pile carpeting. We'll discuss the robot's features in more detail below.

First, let's look at what the basic package of the Eufy RoboVac 15T model includes:

- Power adapter.
- Remote control with two AAA batteries.
- Two pairs of side brushes.
- Spare filter.
- Cable ties (5 pcs.).

Appearance
The robot vacuum cleaner's body is made of dark brown plastic. The Eufy RoboVac 15T has a traditional round shape. The top panel reveals the dust bin cover, the brand logo, and three control buttons stacked one above the other: "Auto," "Local Mode," and "Recharge."
At the front there is a protective shock-absorbing bumper with infrared sensors to prevent collisions with obstacles, at the back there are air outlets, as well as a key for removing the dust container.
On the opposite side of the robot vacuum cleaner are two drive wheels on the sides, a single swivel wheel at the front, magnetic contacts for automatic charging on the docking station, a battery compartment below, and two side brushes. Further down in the center is a bristle-petal turbo brush with a protective grille and the main power switch. Cliff sensors are also mounted on the bottom to prevent falls from elevated surfaces.

Functional capabilities
The robot vacuum cleaner's navigation and orientation in the room is based on the operation of built-in side and bottom sensors that prevent collisions with obstacles and prevent falls from height.
The device cleans the floor using two side brushes and a central turbo brush.
Before you begin cleaning, prepare the floor: remove any cords, wires, or other items that could entangle the robot. Also, make sure there are no loose carpet fringes or curtain tassels. Do not use the robot vacuum in damp areas; it is not designed for this purpose and may be damaged.
To start the Eufy RoboVac 15T, you need to press the corresponding button on the body itself or on the remote control.
What operating modes are available in the robot vacuum cleaner:
- Automatic – the robot selects the optimal cleaning route, independently switching modes depending on the circumstances;
- Spot cleaning (local) - Eufy RoboVac 15T cleans the contaminated area in a spiral pattern for two minutes;
- along the perimeter - the device slows down when it detects walls and begins to move along them around the perimeter of the room for twenty minutes, after which it heads to the docking station;
- Quick cleaning – suitable for cleaning a small room; after half an hour of operation, the robot vacuum cleaner returns to the charging base;
- manual control – directing the Eufy RoboVac 15T to the desired location and setting the required mode using the buttons on the remote control;
- maximum power mode.
The robot can be automatically started at a preset time. The start time can also be set using the remote control.
Thanks to the BoostlQ™ feature, the Eufy RoboVac 15T robot vacuum cleaner can automatically adjust its suction power based on the cleaning conditions. For example, it can automatically increase suction power when cleaning carpet.
