Dreame H15 Pro Heat: Washes floors WITHOUT STREAKS and TRACES

Hello to all readers of the project! This review will examine the new Dreame H15 Pro Heat upright wet/dry vacuum cleaner, which went on sale in June 2025. The new model will launch with a price of approximately $650-700. The key feature of this updated model is its automatic curtain in front of the cleaning module, which more thoroughly collects liquid residue from the floor and debris close to the walls. Additionally, the device boasts a hot water wash, a self-cleaning roller with almost boiling water, a suction power of 22,000 Pa, and other advanced features. Below, I'll take a detailed look at the Dreame H15 Pro Heat, test it, and then highlight its pros and cons, as well as express my opinion on this new flagship. So, let's get started!

Equipment

The washing vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:

In addition to the vacuum cleaner and base, the package includes a removable handle, branded cleaning solution, a spare roller, a spare HEPA filter, a cleaning tool, and an operating manual in Russian.

The package is good, it includes all the necessary consumables for the first time using the vacuum cleaner!

Appearance

Now let's take a look at how the Dreame H15 Pro Heat works. Let's start with the cleaning module. It's a familiar fluffy roller that extends out from the edge of the housing on both sides.

There is a red automatic curtain installed in front of the roller, which acts as a scraper that collects residual liquid and debris when the vacuum cleaner is pulled towards you or stopped.

The solution is unique and, looking ahead, I'll say it's truly effective. Even when the vacuum is turned off or lifted, there's no residue on the floor, unlike with some other wet/dry vacuum cleaners. Furthermore, the automatic curtain allows for the collection of debris that lies close to baseboards and furniture, which can be a problem for the roller itself.

The top cover is removable. The roller is removed from the side and mounted on a cross-shaped holder. The roller has a familiar structure—soft, fluffy bristles. The manufacturer states that the roller's material is heat-resistant. Higher water temperatures will not damage it.

Behind the roller there is a metal comb for detangling hair and fur, as well as a scraper for collecting liquid residue from the floor and a suction hole.

I'll add that the wheels are equipped with electric motors that help control the vacuum cleaner and automatically steer in the right direction, which is a plus.

The water tanks are located above the cleaning module. The clean water tank holds 800 ml. A coarse filter is located inside.

There are two marks on the dirty water tank. These represent the maximum water level when washing the floor vertically and horizontally. A multi-stage filtration system is installed inside, consisting of a HEPA filter, a mesh screen, and several other coarse filters. The water level is monitored by special electronic sensors.

It is interesting that the separate tank for detergent has been removed, as it was implemented in the previously released Dreame H14 DualThe detergent must be manually added to the water tank at the appropriate concentration.

The wet/dry vacuum cleaner is controlled by buttons on the handle. There are three of them: power on/off, mode switching, and self-cleaning function activation on the base.

There are four operating modes: intelligent (which automatically increases power when dirt is detected), hot water floor cleaning, liquid suction, and a customizable user mode. All information is displayed on the user-friendly display. The vacuum cleaner also features voice alerts in Russian.

The vacuum cleaner's tilt angle, which is 180 degrees, deserves special attention. This means the Dreame H15 Pro Heat can be used for cleaning floors in a horizontal position. The height of the body in this position does not exceed 13 cm.

As for the base, the washing vacuum cleaner charges on it, cleans itself with hot water, and dries the roller with hot air.

The water temperature for washing the floor reaches 85°C, and during self-cleaning, it reaches a maximum of 100°C. The air temperature during drying can reach 90°C, allowing the roller to be completely dry in 5 minutes. Very cool! We also improved the design of the base – we extended the side edges and added a splash guard on top to prevent debris from flying around during self-cleaning and ensure the roller dries effectively. That's a plus!

The pros and cons of the wet/dry vacuum cleaner's design will be discussed in the final review. Let's move on!

The main characteristics of the Dreame H15 Pro Heat, as stated by the manufacturer:

I'd like to highlight the increased battery capacity and increased power of the vacuum cleaner compared to similar products. I personally tested the noise level and found it to be in the range of 71.5-74 dB, which is standard.

Functional capabilities

The app's feature overview deserves special attention. The Dreame H15 Pro Heat is controlled via the proprietary Dreamehome app, which it seamlessly connects to.

Here you can flexibly customize the vacuum cleaner's settings. For example, select a user mode, which allows you to manually adjust the power and water flow rate when mopping floors, as well as adjust the water temperature during the self-cleaning function of the roller on the base. You can also choose one of three wheel steering levels, set the specific modes for lowering the automatic curtain, view cleaning statistics, and view the status of consumables. You can also customize the drying and self-cleaning settings on the base.

We've also added a remote control mode for the vacuum cleaner in horizontal position. In this mode, you can manually direct the vacuum forward and backward. Perhaps someone will find this feature useful in their home.

Testing

And finally, let's move on to the tests. We'll see how well the Dreame H15 Pro Heat performs in its primary role. There will be several tests, ranging from simple to more complex.

The vacuum cleaner handles everyday floor cleaning well. In automatic mode, it automatically adjusts suction power depending on the degree of dirt on the floor. Liquid is thoroughly sucked into the dirty water tank, leaving no streaks or puddles. This is thanks in part to the automatic curtain.

You can also use the vacuum cleaner to pick up liquids and mixtures, like in my case, a mixture of raw egg and flour. Very convenient.

The Dreame H15 Pro Heat vacuum cleaner removes dirt very effectively and quickly, leaving no streaks or marks. Moreover, the Dreame H15 Pro Heat can clean dirt right up to the baseboard thanks to its dual-sided roller extending out to the edge of the unit.

In reality, the blind spot is about 6 mm, while most similar devices have a blind spot of 15-20 mm. Still, Dreame's engineers still have room for improvement.

However, it does remove tough stains with some difficulty. It does take some time. In my case, I was able to remove the stains in about 6 minutes, using the included cleaning solution. The result is slightly longer than the standard 5-minute cleaning time, but the vacuum cleaner still got the job done. Budget models take 8 to 10 minutes.

Furthermore, this wet/dry vacuum cleaner can also be used for dry cleaning. It picked up all the debris from the laminate flooring. It even handled large debris like cat litter and cat food without any problems. And it even managed to pick up all the debris in the corners thanks to the automatic curtain. This test was a success!

This wet/dry vacuum cleaner can also be used for cleaning carpets and rugs in liquid suction mode, without using water. However, due to the roller design, the vacuum cleaner can only pick up surface debris, and I wouldn't recommend using it for this purpose, as pet hair and other debris can accumulate behind the roller and clog the suction system.

I also tested how the Dreame H15 Pro Heat handles detangling hair from the roller. The roller is clean, and there's no buildup on the combs behind it. Test passed!

Finally, let's check the roller's self-cleaning performance. Here's its condition after self-cleaning from dirt, coffee, and ketchup. The roller is thoroughly cleaned. Both the lid and the suction channel behind the roller are clean.

In everyday life, the roller and other components are also easy to clean after self-cleaning, so I think this feature is very well implemented in this model!

The drying is also really effective. Even after 5 minutes of quick drying, the roller is practically dry! Great job, Dreame engineers!

I even checked the actual washing and drying temperatures of the roller. During self-cleaning, the thermometer showed 92.4 degrees Celsius, and during drying, 71.3 degrees Celsius. Considering the inevitable measurement errors, it can be assumed that the stated specifications are accurate.

Personal opinion

The Dreame H15 Pro Heat upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight the pros and cons I discovered, and then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:

1. The automatic curtain improves the vacuum's ability to pick up liquids from the floor and clean without leaving streaks or marks. It also more thoroughly collects accumulated debris along walls and in corners.
2. Floor washing and self-cleaning of the roller with hot water.
3. Fast and efficient drying of the roller with hot air.
4. Capable of removing even the most difficult stains.
5. High-quality self-cleaning of the roller, including removal of hair and fur.
6. Automatic power increase mode when contamination is detected.
7. The roller comes out to the edge of the body on both sides.
8. Horizontal floor cleaning is supported thanks to the vacuum cleaner being able to be folded out 180 degrees.
9. Control via a proprietary app, allowing you to flexibly customize settings to suit your needs.
10. The wheels are equipped with motors for easier control and literally glide the vacuum across the floor. The weight is practically unnoticeable in your hand.
11. High suction power, judging by the stated characteristics.
12. Capacious battery and therefore long operating time.
13. High-quality waste collection on hard surfaces and low-pile carpets.
14. Informative display on the body.
15. Built-in voice notifications in Russian.
16. Good kit, which includes spare consumables and branded cleaning agent.
17. Ergonomic design and stylish execution.
18. Availability of warranty and service.

As for the disadvantages, there are the following comments about the vacuum cleaner:

1. High price.
2. There is no automatic detergent dispenser.
3. There is no backlight in front of the cleaning module.
4. There is still a minimal blind spot due to the fasteners on the edges of the rollers.
5. Non-removable battery.
6. Not suitable for cleaning medium pile carpets.

The listed drawbacks are more like suggestions for improvements or additions to make this upright vacuum cleaner as perfect as possible. It's surprising that they removed the detergent tank and backlight found on the previously released Dreame H14 Pro. The remaining comments are typical for most upright vacuum cleaners.

I can personally say that the Dreame H15 Pro Heat is an interesting addition to the Dreame line of wet/dry vacuum cleaners, with new features and improved key characteristics. The vacuum cleaner has become even more efficient, more powerful, and even more convenient. It definitely deserves attention and will be included in the updated ranking of the best upright wet/dry vacuum cleaners of 2025.
