To limit the cleaning area, a magnetic tape can be used, which must be purchased separately, since the manufacturer did not include it in the basic components.

Appearance

The robot vacuum cleaner's body is made of high-quality plastic, despite its low price. As you can see from the photos, the Proscenic 830P uses a traditional round shape. It weighs 2.8 kilograms. Its dimensions are compact: 330 x 330 x 76 millimeters. This allows the robot to clean not only open floors but also under certain furniture (beds, sofas, nightstands, etc.) and sweep up accumulated dust.

The robot vacuum's front panel features two touch-sensitive power and home buttons at the top, along with a Wi-Fi indicator. The manufacturer's logo is located in the center.

When viewing the Proscenic 830P from the front, we see a spring-loaded bumper with obstacle-detection sensors that provide collision protection, as well as rear ventilation openings. Furthermore, a dust bin can be removed at the press of a button, which can be replaced with a water tank for wet cleaning.

The Proscenic 830P robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a gyroscope, obstacle sensors, and anti-drop sensors, which help it navigate, perform real-time positioning, and generate a 2D map of the room for effective cleaning planning. The robot's exact location on the map can be viewed through the dedicated Proscenic Home app, which we'll cover separately later in this review.

ApplicationApplication

Application

This robot vacuum cleaner is designed for cleaning hard floors such as laminate, linoleum, tile, and wood, but it also performs impressively on carpets with medium-height or medium-dense pile. This is possible because the Proscenic 830P not only sweeps the floor with its side brushes but also sweeps it with its well-designed turbo brush. Furthermore, the robot vacuum cleaner features a carpet recognition system that automatically switches the suction power to maximum. Collected debris is collected in a 600-milliliter dust bin, a transparent, bagless container equipped with a HEPA filter.

Proscenic 830P has the following operating modes:

  • auto;
  • local;
  • around the perimeter;
  • cleaning one room.

To perform wet cleaning, install a dedicated 350-milliliter water tank in place of the dust bin, first filling it with water through the filler neck. Next, attach a microfiber cloth, which will be automatically moistened. The water supply system is well-designed; water does not splash or spill on the floor when the robot vacuum cleaner is on the charging base or when the Proscenic 830P is lifted from the floor.

The mobile app is user-friendly, easy to understand, and easy to use. You can change the operating mode, track the robot's progress on a 2D map of the room, start and pause cleaning from anywhere, use manual control, and set a schedule. The Proscenic 830P robot vacuum also features voice control and integration with the Smart Home system. It's an excellent, modern solution for a budget device.
