Jimmy H10 Flex: A simplified version with the same POWERFUL engine

The Jimmy H10 Flex upright vacuum cleaner is a simplified version of the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules, which we previously reviewed. By slightly modifying the package and simplifying the features, we were able to reduce the price from $370 to $300. At the same time, the powerful suction (up to 245 watts), smart modes, and basic cleaning attachments were retained. Below, I'll thoroughly test the Jimmy H10 Flex, compare its key features with the flagship model, and then express my opinion on whether this cordless vacuum is worth buying. Let's get started!
Equipment
The vacuum cleaner arrived in a branded box like this:
The package includes:
- Main block.
- Removable battery.
- Extension tube with bendable elbow.
- Basic floor nozzle.
- Replacement roller for the main attachment.
- Power adapter.
- Wall holder with fasteners.
- Nozzle with turbo brush for cleaning upholstered furniture.
- Soft bristle attachment.
- Crevice nozzle.
- Attachment with sliding bristles.
- Rotary connector.
- Operating instructions translated into Russian.
The kit is complete. Compared to the Pro version, the floor stand has been removed, but a more practical crevice tool with a flexible design and lighting has been added.
Appearance
Now let's take a look at the Jimmy H10 Flex's design. Let's start with the main unit. It's finished in graphite with light gray accents. The Pro version had bronze accents. In true Jimmy fashion, the dust container is positioned transversely across the body. This design, according to the manufacturer, ensures more powerful and longer-lasting suction. It minimizes blockages in the suction channel, reducing the chance of it becoming clogged.
The battery is removable, which is good. There's a charging port right next to it.
The vacuum cleaner's handle is very conveniently designed. Mechanical control buttons are located under your thumb: power on/off and power adjustment. There are four power levels: Automatic, Turbo, Maximum, and Eco. In automatic mode, the Jimmy H10 Flex can automatically adjust suction power depending on the type of flooring and how dirty it is. This is a plus.
Behind the buttons is an informative LED display that displays all the important information: battery level, selected mode, and service messages. However, keep in mind that the vacuum cleaner cannot automatically count the size of the collected debris and dust particles to compile cleaning statistics, as was implemented in the Pro version. It's not really a very useful feature, but it's missing nonetheless.
The dust container opens with the press of a button. The bottom folds down, and all the debris falls out. Unfortunately, the container itself is still not removable. The filtration system, consisting of a mesh screen, a cyclone, and a pre-motor HEPA filter, is removed from the side. Ideally, a foam insert would be added before the HEPA filter to extend its life.
Now let's look at the attachments included in the kit.
The main floor nozzle features an LED light, improving cleaning performance in low-light areas. The fluffy roller is better suited for cleaning hard floors. A large suction hole is located behind the roller. The roller itself is held in place by a clip that can be removed without tools. A comb is also located behind the roller to prevent hair and fur from tangling. A bristle and petal roller can be installed in place of the fluffy roller for hard floors. It is more versatile and suitable for all surfaces, but has proven particularly effective for cleaning carpets.
The mini furniture brush features a bristle-and-petal roller that locks into place on the side and can be easily removed without tools. The soft-bristled brush head is standard, as is the rotating brush head, as well as a brush head with retractable bristles. The crevice tool deserves special attention. It features a front light and a flexible design, making it easy to reach tight, hard-to-reach spaces. Very convenient!
Here's how the collapsible elbow of the extension wand works. Press the latch, and the wand folds away. A very convenient solution, allowing you to vacuum under low furniture without bending over.
Incidentally, the wall mount can store not only the vacuum cleaner but also some of the included attachments. However, wireless charging is not supported.
I can say that the Jimmy H10 Flex looks stylish, the build quality is high, and most importantly, it's easy to use. I should also point out that it doesn't have vertical parking outside of the holder. The main unit is too heavy, and the vacuum cleaner can't maintain its balance. And, compared to the Pro version, the Flex model has lost its voice prompts. Although, again, they were in English, so it's not a big deal.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the Jimmy H10 Flex, as stated by the manufacturer:
- Power consumption 650 W.
- Suction power up to 245 aW.
- Li-Ion battery 2500 mAh.
- Dust collector 600 ml.
- Operating time up to 80 min.
- Noise level 77-83 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.86 kg.
The exceptional suction power is worth highlighting. I personally haven't encountered any vacuum cleaners that claim to have more watts, not counting the Pro version, which has the same rating. However, the battery capacity has been reduced from 3000 to 2500 mAh, which means the runtime has decreased by 10 minutes.
I personally tested the noise level. Depending on the operating mode, it ranges from 77 to 83 dB. This model has a higher noise level, but its very high suction power should also be taken into account. However, by comparison, the Pro version's noise level did not exceed 79.1 dB during testing.
Regarding weight, the main unit weighs 1959 grams, the extension tube weighs 404 grams, and the main nozzle weighs 794 grams. The complete vacuum weighs 3157 grams. It's slightly heavier than similar models, but not significantly so. The center of gravity is well-distributed, so your hand won't get tired while using it.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Jimmy H10 Flex, including all tests, has already been published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the Jimmy H10 Flex's runtime at maximum power. The vacuum cleaner managed to run for 9 minutes at maximum power, then automatically reduced power and ran for another 2 minutes before the battery was completely discharged. The total runtime at maximum power was 11 minutes and 2 seconds. This is a fairly standard result. By comparison, the Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules ran for 16 minutes and 40 seconds, including 12 minutes and 7 seconds at maximum power. The difference in battery life is noticeable.
Suction power
As for suction power, even in Eco mode, the Jimmy H10 Flex was able to suck up debris from a 10 mm gap. In Auto mode, it completely removed debris from crevices, thoroughly cleaning the stand. This vacuum cleaner definitely has very strong suction power.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well this vacuum cleaner picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This unit performed well. It's important to note that it has no trouble picking up debris along baseboards or in corners. It picks everything up thoroughly, with no blind spots. No hair or lint gets caught in the roller. Test passed!
Carpet cleaning
Speaking of carpet cleaning, the replaceable bristle-and-petal roller was installed for this test. The vacuum cleaner performed well, thoroughly cleaning the carpet. The roller also didn't pick up any hair or lint. Another test passed!
Using additional attachments
It's also worth noting that the complete kit allows you to clean a sofa, areas beyond the reach of the main nozzle, and even car interiors. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll tell you how to clean the dust bin. Press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. Hair and fur can get stuck in the bin. This is where you can completely remove the filtration system and shake out the debris.
Personal opinion
The Jimmy H10 Flex cordless vacuum cleaner has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll first highlight my own pros and cons based on my testing and experience with it, then conclude.
I liked the following:
- Highest suction power.
- Automatic power increase on carpets and when the floor is heavily soiled.
- Good quality of waste collection on different surfaces.
- Ergonomic design.
- Complete set of attachments and accessories.
- Removable battery.
- Folding extension tube.
- Informative LED display.
- High quality assembly.
- A more favorable price, considering that the basic set of attachments, design and power have been retained.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Speaking about the disadvantages, there are the following comments about the vacuum cleaner:
- Non-removable dust collector.
- No vertical parking.
- Working hours have been reduced.
- There is no wireless charging provided on the holder.
Overall, my main complaint is the runtime, which has been reduced by almost 5 minutes. But this isn't really a criticism of the simplified version, but rather a credit to the Pro model. 11 minutes is average for powerful vertical shooters. So, if you're choosing between the Jimmy H10 Flex and Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules, with a price difference of about $70, it MAYBE makes sense to save money and spend that money on a second battery, for example.
For clarity, I have included all the differences between the two verticals in a table:
| Jimmy H10 Flex | Jimmy H10 Pro Hercules | |
| Floor stand for accessories | No | Yes |
| Automatic particle counting | No | Yes |
| Voice prompts | No | Yes, in English |
| Battery | 2500 mAh | 3000 mAh |
| Opening hours | From 11 minutes 2 seconds to 80 minutes | From 16 minutes 40 seconds to 90 minutes |
| Noise level | 77-83 dB | 77-79.1 dB |
| Crevice tool | Flexible, with backlight | Standard execution |
| Price | Up to $300 | Up to $370 |
Well, I can say that for around $300, the Jimmy H10 Flex is a very interesting option to buy and can be considered a worthy competitor to premium vertical models from Dreame and other brands. So, if you liked this cordless vacuum, I see no reason not to recommend it. On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!

Can you recommend a vertical vacuum cleaner that I can buy in 2024 for under 35k?
Well, either this one or something from Dreame, for example Dreame R20.
