The new Kitfort KT-553 robot vacuum cleaner is designed not only for dry cleaning but can also wipe floors automatically with a damp cloth. This ensures fresher air in the room and more effective cleaning overall. The robot is also equipped with an ultraviolet lamp for surface disinfection. The robot is in the mid-price range, averaging around $170. For this price, the manufacturer offers a device with decent accessories, average technical specifications, and features. We'll discuss all of this in more detail later in the review.

Appearance
The robot is made of plastic and has a puck-shaped form that appears round when viewed from above. The primary colors are black and white. The overall dimensions of this KT-553 model are 340 x 340 x 85 mm. The design is very reminiscent of the iClebo A3, which was also recently released.
Top view
The top of the robot vacuum cleaner features a lid with a lift button, revealing a 450-milliliter dust container with a dual filtration system. The lid houses a display and a control panel with touch-sensitive buttons. The Kitfort brand logo is also featured here.
Dust collector location
On the front of the device there is a protective bumper, on the side there is a power switch and a socket for direct charging of the battery from the mains, and on the back there are ventilation holes.
The Kitfort KT-553's underbody features large drive wheels, a small front swivel wheel, two side brushes, a suction chute, a battery compartment under the lid, contacts for connecting to the charging station, and an ultraviolet lamp for disinfecting the floor. There's also a mounting area for a removable wet cleaning module with a microfiber cloth.

Optical obstacle sensors, height difference sensors, surface type recognition sensors, and dust sensors are installed around the perimeter of the body.

Functional capabilities
As we noted in our earlier review, the Kitfort KT-553 robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with sensors to prevent collisions with vertical obstacles, to prevent falls from elevated surfaces, and also dust sensors.
Operation of sensors
The robot vacuum cleaner cleans as follows: two side brushes sweep up debris on the floor, including hard-to-reach areas, and direct it toward the suction chute, through which it flows directly into the dust bin. The robot adjusts suction power based on the level of dirt (the device also includes surface recognition sensors).
Cleaning technology
The Kitfort KT-553 model has the following operating modes:
- automatic (movement based on data received by sensors);
- spot ("SPOT");
- around the perimeter (along the baseboards and in the corners);
- "zigzag" (movement in a "snake" pattern).
Traffic patterns
Manual control via a remote control is also available. Using the remote control, you can program a cleaning schedule: the robot vacuum cleaner will automatically start daily at a specified time.
An additional option is a wet mopping mode. For this purpose, the kit includes a separate small water reservoir and microfiber cleaning cloths. The cloth is automatically moistened, so you don't have to wet it yourself.
Additionally, the Kitfort KT-553 robot is equipped with an ultraviolet lamp, whose radiation destroys pathogenic bacteria and microbes entering the room from outside. After exposure, microorganisms are no longer able to reproduce.

Advantages and disadvantages
In conclusion, we will highlight the advantages and disadvantages of a robot vacuum cleaner, taking into account the price and the information we have received about it.
Advantages of Kitfort KT-553:

Disadvantages of a robot vacuum cleaner:
- Navigation by sensors.
- There is no movement limiter.
