For this price, it boasts suction power of up to 28,000 Pa and a wide range of accessories for a comprehensive cleaning experience. These include a wet cleaning nozzle, a flexible connector, and two different rollers for different floor types. Appearance
Now let's take a look at the MIKO V10's design. Let's start with the main unit. It's finished in graphite with red accents. It houses a 420-watt motor, delivering up to 28,000 Pa of suction power. The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing the trigger button. There's no need to hold it down. A suction power adjustment button is located on the end of the unit. There are three power levels. Battery charge indicators are located above the button. There's no display. The power adapter is connected to the vacuum cleaner manually, and the port is located on the handle. The battery is removable, which is a plus. It also has a charger port, so you can charge it separately from the vacuum cleaner. The dust bin, unfortunately, is not removable. It opens with a locking button. Debris falls out through the opening lid, which serves as the bottom of the vacuum cleaner. The filtration system consists of a foam filter, a cyclone, and a mesh filter. There is also a blow-out HEPA filter installed on top.
The main floor nozzle features a swivel joint for increased maneuverability. A front LED light illuminates the cleaning area. A fluffy roller for hard floors is included with the box. A replaceable carpet roller with short bristles can be installed instead.
A wet cleaning tank like this one attaches to the main floor nozzle. It's held in place by magnets and holds up to 300 ml of water. The cleaning cloth is attached to the nozzle with Velcro. Water flows to the cleaning cloth by gravity through dispensers. This design allows the MIKO V10 to be used for both dry and wet cleaning simultaneously.
Let's take a look at the additional attachments included. The mini turbo brush can be used for cleaning upholstered furniture, mattresses, and removing dust mites. The roller is equipped with elastic bristles and can be easily removed by hand without any tools. Very convenient.
The standard furniture brush is suitable for picking up light debris, as well as pet hair and fur. It's ideal for curtains and soft fabrics. It comes with both a standard crevice tool and a slightly upgraded crevice tool with a brush. Both are suitable for picking up debris in hard-to-reach areas. The soft-bristled tool is ideal for picking up debris on delicate surfaces. The flexible hose is perfect for cleaning car interiors, and the bendable connector is ideal for cleaning under low furniture and, conversely, on shelves, on top of cabinets, and other furniture.
In general, as already mentioned, there are many attachments and they can be used to their full potential for household cleaning!
We assemble the vacuum cleaner and here's what it looks like when fully assembled:
I'd like to point out that this model doesn't have vertical parking outside of the wall mount. Overall, I have no complaints about the build quality, especially considering the price. It looks stylish, is comfortable to hold, and the buttons are well-placed, making it easy to operate with one hand.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of MIKO V10, as declared by the manufacturer:
- Suction power up to 28 kPa.
- Li-Ion battery 2200 mAh.
- Dust collector 510 ml.
- Operating time up to 50 min.
- Noise level 76.5-85.5 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.28 kg.
Overall, the specifications are standard for this price segment. I personally measured the vacuum cleaner's noise level, which ranged from 76.5 to 85.5 dB, slightly above the norm.
The main unit weighs 1,406 grams, the extension tube 266 grams, and the main floor nozzle 603 grams. In total, the fully assembled vacuum cleaner weighs 2,275 grams, making it lighter than most similar vacuum cleaners.
Testing
A detailed video review of the MIKO V10, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll check the MIKO V10's battery life in Turbo mode with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed 11 minutes and 17 seconds of runtime, which is pretty standard.
Please note that the vacuum cleaner can operate significantly longer at minimum and medium power settings, while in domestic conditions the Turbo mode is usually used briefly for heavy dirt.
Suction power
In terms of suction power, at its lowest setting, the Miko V10 was able to suck up debris from crevices up to 8 mm deep. At medium power, it cleaned out all crevices, including those as deep as 10 mm. This power is sufficient for household cleaning.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well the Miko V10 picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate floor: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This machine performed well. It's important to note that it has no trouble picking up debris along baseboards and in corners. It picks everything up thoroughly. No hair or lint gets caught in the roller. All debris is collected in the dust bin. Test passed!
Carpet cleaning
The same debris was scattered on a low-pile carpet, and the Miko V10 did an equally good job, thoroughly cleaning the carpet.
The vacuum also cleans medium-pile carpets well; the roller doesn't get stuck, and the vacuum doesn't go into error mode. Incidentally, when cleaning the carpets, I used the roller attachment. This type of roller picked up pet hair and fur.
Using additional attachments
It's also worth noting that the additional attachments allow you to clean areas that the main attachment can't reach, including the inside of a car, a sofa, and underneath low furniture thanks to the flexible connector.
In general, the vacuum cleaner is suitable for different conditions of use.
Wet cleaning
Speaking of the wet cleaning attachment, it turns the Miko V10 into a mop with vacuum function. This is one of the vacuum cleaner's key features. Its design ensures maximum cleaning efficiency—you vacuum and then immediately wet mop the floor.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll tell you how to clean the dust container. You press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. Hair and fur can get stuck in the container. In this case, you'll have to manually remove the filter system from the container and shake out the debris. Not very convenient.
Personal opinion
The MIKO V10 upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight its pros and cons, then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:
- High-quality waste collection without blind spots on any surface, including carpets.
- Good filtration system.
- Illumination of the cleaning area in the floor nozzle.
- Availability of a variety of attachments for different purposes in household cleaning.
- A flexible connector that makes cleaning under low furniture easier.
- A water tank attached to the main nozzle allows you to vacuum and mop the floor at the same time.
- Removable battery.
- The vacuum cleaner itself is light in weight.
- Ergonomic design. The vacuum cleaner is easy to operate with one hand.
- Warranty and service availability. Here, the manufacturer indicates that it has a certified service center that provides warranty and post-warranty service for its products.
Speaking of comments, here are some points that were discovered during the review:
- The dust collector is non-removable, making it difficult to maintain and empty.
- There's no display. Therefore, it's impossible to visually determine which mode the vacuum cleaner is in or what percentage of the battery charge remains.
- Vertical parking outside of the wall holder is not provided.
- There is no convenient way to store all the attachments in the set on a floor or wall holder.
Overall, for me personally, the only major issue is the first one, regarding the dust container. The other issues are common with similar vacuums in the sub-$200 price range. So, if you don't mind my quibbles and like the vacuum, you might want to consider it. It's easy to use, versatile, and does its job well.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
