Appearance
Now let's take a look at the JENXY M1's design. Let's start with the main unit. It houses a 360-watt motor, delivering up to 26,000 Pa of suction power. The vacuum cleaner's main color is graphite with red accents.
The battery is removable, which is a plus. It's integrated into the display. On the case, you'll find a connector for the power adapter.
The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing the trigger button. The display features a touch-sensitive mode switch. There are three modes: Eco, Medium, and TURBO. Each mode has its own display color: green, yellow, or red. The display also shows the battery percentage.
The dust container is also removable, which is another plus. To empty it, simply press the latch, which causes the bottom to open and all the contents to fall out.
The filtration system is based on a HEPA filter, cyclone, and mesh. The HEPA filter is class H13. It traps 99.96% of various air pollutants. Incidentally, the container itself holds up to 0.8 liters of dry waste.
The main floor nozzle features a swivel joint. A front light illuminates the cleaning area. To remove the roller, use a flat-head screwdriver to release the locking tab. The vacuum cleaner comes with a fluffy lint roller for hard surfaces, but you can replace it with a slightly different lint roller for carpets.
Here's what the wet cleaning attachment looks like. It's a 200 ml reservoir with a microfiber cloth attached. Water is supplied to the cloth by gravity through two dispenser valves. The reservoir simply attaches to the main attachment, allowing you to vacuum and mop simultaneously.
Speaking of other attachments, there's a mini turbo brush for cleaning upholstery. Its roller can be easily removed by pressing a release button.
The pet hair removal attachment has a very unique design. Press the button, and all the hair is removed from the comb and then sucked into the dust collector. If necessary, the entire comb module can be removed for cleaning.
The remaining attachments are simple in design, but are nevertheless suitable for cleaning hard-to-reach places and, for example, for cleaning the interior of a car.
We assemble the vacuum cleaner, and this is what it looks like when assembled:
I will outline the pros and cons of the design when summing up.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the JENXY M1, as stated by the manufacturer, are displayed on the screen:
- The vacuum cleaner power consumption is 360 W.
- Suction power up to 26,000 Pa.
- Li-Ion battery 2200 mAh.
- Dust collector 800 ml.
- Working time: up to 60 min.
- The noise level of the vacuum cleaner is 70.5-77.5 dB.
- The weight of the fully assembled vacuum cleaner is 1.9 kg.
I personally tested the vacuum cleaner's noise level. It ranged from 70.5 to 77.5 dB, which is quite standard for upright vacuum cleaners.
The main unit weighs 1,133 grams, the extension tube weighs 204 grams, and the floor nozzle weighs 573 grams. The fully assembled vacuum weighs 1,910 grams. It's significantly lighter than most similar models, which is important for many when choosing an upright vacuum.
Testing
A detailed video review of the JENXY M1, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the JENXY M1's battery life in Turbo mode with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed 11 minutes and 20 seconds of runtime, which is pretty standard.
Suction power
In terms of suction power, in Eco mode, the JENXY M1 was able to partially remove debris from crevices up to 10 mm deep. At medium power, it more reliably removed debris from all crevices, but only in Turbo mode was it able to completely clean the crevices. This vacuum's power is more than sufficient for everyday use.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well the JENXY M1 picks up debris from hard floors with the fluffy roller attached. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. I can say the vacuum cleaner performed well, leaving no blind spots in the corners or along the baseboards. The test was a success.
Carpet cleaning
The JENXY M1 handles low-pile carpets without any problems. In my opinion, the replaceable roller with its separated bristle sections picks up debris slightly better on carpets. Medium-pile carpets are also easily cleaned by this vacuum cleaner.
Wool comb attachment
Here's how the deshedding attachment works. It's a truly convenient solution, allowing you to remove hair more quickly and effectively during shedding periods. If the brush gets clogged, simply press the release button and continue brushing your pet. Pet owners will definitely appreciate this attachment!
Using additional attachments
It's also worth noting that the additional attachments allow you to clean a sofa, areas the main nozzle can't reach, and even the inside of a car. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.
Oh, and don't forget about the wet cleaning attachment. It turns the JENXY M1 into a mop with vacuum function. I wouldn't risk using this attachment with the suction on, just to be on the safe side, to avoid the vacuum getting too full. It's dispensed generously onto the cloth. But that's entirely up to you.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll tell you how to clean the dust bin. Press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. Hair and fur may get stuck in the bin. In this case, you can remove the dust bin, remove the filtration system, and completely empty the bin.
Personal opinion
The JENXY M1 upright vacuum cleaner has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight its pros and cons, then share my final thoughts.
I liked the following:
- High-quality waste collection on any surface.
- Attachment for combing pets.
- Nozzle for wet cleaning.
- Removable battery.
- Removable dust collector.
- Light weight vacuum cleaner when fully assembled.
- Illumination of the cleaning area.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Regarding shortcomings, no critical ones were found. Rather, there are some comments typical of most cordless vacuum cleaners reviewed. Specifically:
- The vacuum cleaner cannot be parked vertically outside the station. This means if you want to take a break mid-cleaning, you'll need to either place it on the floor or prop it up.
- There is no wireless charging on the wall mount.
- One more note about the wall holder: you can't store all the attachments in the set on it. You'll have to store them in a drawer or box. Ideally, a floor stand or something similar would be suitable for such a set. However, the manufacturer has indicated that they are already in the process of creating accessory bags.
Ultimately, I can say I have no serious complaints about the JENXY M1 upright vacuum. It accomplished its primary purpose and won me over with the pet grooming attachment, which I actively used during the testing period. The vacuum is lightweight, convenient, and versatile. So, if you're interested in it, I see no reason to pass it up.
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
