Miko V11: an upright vacuum cleaner with a scrubbing attachment for high-quality wet cleaning

The latest upright vacuum cleaner from the Miko line to make its way into our test room is the Miko V11. This model's key feature is its mopping attachment with two rotating pads, allowing you to vacuum and mop your floors simultaneously. Furthermore, the unit boasts an extensive set of accessories, making it suitable for a variety of household cleaning tasks. Below, I'll thoroughly test the Miko V11, highlight its pros and cons, and express my opinion on whether it's worth buying. The price at the time of writing is in the $200-$210 range, which seems quite reasonable. So, let's get started!

Appearance
Now let's take a look at the MIKO V11's design. Let's start with the main unit. It's finished in graphite with red accents. It houses a 260-watt motor, delivering up to 24,000 Pa of suction power. The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing the trigger button. There's no need to hold it down.
A button on the end adjusts suction power and controls water flow when the scrubber attachment is attached. Two power levels are available.
There is a display on top that shows the power level and battery charge level.
The battery is removable, which is great. The charging port is located on the battery itself, so you can charge it separately from the vacuum cleaner.
It is very convenient that the dust collector of the MIKO V11 is removable, unlike other models V10 And V12A filtration system based on a composite filter, cyclone, and mesh. Removing the cyclone through the bottom of the flask isn't quite the right solution, and I'll show you why in my tests.
The main floor nozzle features a swivel joint. The top cover is removable, revealing a roller with short bristles. This roller design is more versatile and has proven effective at picking up debris on both hard floors and carpets. A comb is located in front of the suction opening for untangling hair and pet hair. Underneath, we see grooves for larger debris. A front LED light illuminates the cleaning area, a plus.
Now let's look at the mop attachment. It's really cool that both this and the previous attachments feature vertical parking. Water is added from the top through a hole with a sealed valve. A measuring cup is included for this purpose. The tank holds 300 ml. We can see that the engineers placed a suction hole in the front between the cloths for collecting debris. I've already installed the brushes in the cloth holders. The result is a mop-broom combination. This attachment also has a front light.
Important! I reviewed the previous version of this vacuum cleaner, which featured a dust extraction feature in the scrubber attachment. However, a recent upgrade meant that the scrubber attachment only cleans the floor, without any suction! Over time, this led to a problem: water would get into the motor during suction, causing it to malfunction. Therefore, the developers decided to disable the suction feature when cleaning floors. The hole in the scrubber attachment remains as an afterthought.
Let's take a look at the additional attachments included. The mini turbo brush can be used for cleaning mattresses, upholstery, and even removing dust mites. The roller can be easily removed by hand without any tools. It's equipped with elastic bristles. Very convenient.
The standard furniture brush is suitable for picking up light debris, as well as pet hair and fur. It's ideal for curtains and soft fabrics. It comes with both a standard crevice tool and a slightly upgraded crevice tool with a brush. Both are suitable for picking up debris in hard-to-reach areas. The soft-bristled tool is ideal for picking up debris on delicate surfaces. The flexible hose is perfect for cleaning car interiors, and the bendable connector is ideal for cleaning under low furniture and, conversely, on shelves, on top of cabinets, and other furniture.
In general, as already mentioned, there are many attachments and they can be used to their full potential for household cleaning!
We assemble the vacuum cleaner and here's what it looks like when fully assembled:
The pros and cons of the design will be discussed in the conclusion. For now, I can say that I have no complaints about the build quality, considering the vacuum cleaner's price range.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of MIKO V11, as declared by the manufacturer:
- Suction power up to 24 kPa.
- Li-Ion battery 2600 mAh.
- Dust collector 500 ml.
- Operating time up to 60 min.
- Noise level 74-77 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.32 kg.
Overall, the specifications are standard for this price segment. I personally measured the vacuum cleaner's noise level, which is between 74-77 dB. I can say that the vacuum cleaner is quieter than similar models, which is a plus for this model.
The main unit weighs 1,129 grams, the extension tube weighs 268 grams, and the main floor nozzle weighs 925 grams. The fully assembled vacuum weighs 2,322 grams, making it lighter than most similar vacuums.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Miko V11, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, we'll check the MIKO V11's battery life in Turbo mode with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed 17.5 minutes of operation, which is a very good result. However, I'd like to point out that it has two modes, not three like its competitors. Therefore, this mode can be considered standard rather than Turbo, which explains the increased runtime. Next, we'll test the power in this mode in practice.
Suction power
Regarding suction power, at its minimum setting, the Miko V11 was able to suck up debris from crevices up to 8 mm deep. And at its maximum power, or mode 2, the vacuum cleaner cleaned out all crevices, including those 10 mm deep. This power is sufficient for household use, and I'd say the power in mode 2 is the same as the Miko V10's in mode 3, so it's considered enhanced rather than standard.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well the Miko V11 picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate floor: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This machine performed well. It's important to note that it has no trouble picking up debris in corners. It picks everything up thoroughly. And you can see that the roller doesn't get tangled up in hair or lint. This is thanks to the comb, which is installed behind the roller in front of the suction hole. Test passed!
Carpet cleaning
The same debris was scattered on a low-pile carpet, and the Miko V11 performed equally well, thoroughly cleaning the carpet. The vacuum also cleaned medium-pile carpets well, without the roller blocking or error messages. This test was also passed!
Using additional attachments
Speaking of additional attachments, they allow you to clean areas the main nozzle can't reach, clean the inside of a car, clean a sofa, and pick up debris under low furniture thanks to the flexible connector. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications, which is very convenient!
Wet cleaning
The mopping attachment deserves special attention. It's significantly better than the standard water tank and cloth attached behind the dust collector, as found on the smaller Miko V10 model.
The nozzle's design allows you to remove even stubborn, dried-in stains from your floor. However, you may need to wash the cleaning cloths several times in between if your floor is particularly dirty. Nevertheless, this nozzle removes stains faster than even specialized upright vacuum cleaners.
In my case, it took about 4 minutes to remove the stains, while most wet/dry vacuum cleaners complete the task in 8-10 minutes. This is considering I didn't add any detergent, although for even more effective cleaning or for stubborn stains, you can use a detergent with an anti-foaming agent.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll tell you about cleaning the dust container. After testing, the container was tightly packed. You press the button, and the dust falls out through the bottom. If some hair or fur gets stuck in the cyclone filter area, you'll have to remove the dirty filtration system through the bottom, just like with vacuum cleaners with a non-removable dust container. So, this design isn't the best idea. Yes, it's better to clean this dust container, but it would be better if the cyclone was removed from the top, to avoid contact with the dust.
Personal opinion
The MIKO V11 upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight its pros and cons, then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:
- High-quality waste collection without blind spots on any surface, including carpets.
- Illumination of the cleaning area in floor nozzles.
- The main floor cleaning attachment is equipped with a comb to remove hair and fur from the roller.
- An effective mopping attachment that allows you to vacuum and mop your floors at the same time, as well as remove stubborn stains.
- Long working time.
- Availability of a variety of attachments for different purposes in household cleaning.
- A flexible connector that makes cleaning under low furniture easier.
- Removable battery.
- Removable dust collector.
- The vacuum cleaner supports vertical parking outside the wall holder.
- The vacuum cleaner itself is light in weight.
- Low noise level.
- Ergonomic design. The vacuum cleaner is easy to operate with one hand.
- Warranty and service availability. Here, the manufacturer indicates that it has a certified service center that provides warranty and post-warranty service for its products.
Speaking of comments, here are some points that were discovered during the review:
- There is no HEPA filter.
- The cyclone filter is removed through the bottom of the container, which makes emptying the dust container difficult when it has to be done manually.
- There is no convenient way to store all the attachments in the set on a floor or wall holder.
In my opinion, these criticisms aren't so critical that it's a no-brainer. Moreover, for the price, it's truly well-equipped and boasts a well-designed build. If you're looking for a stick vacuum with a wet mop function and your budget is around $200, I recommend considering this option. The Miko V11 is a convenient, effective, and versatile cordless vacuum!
On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
