Below, I'll thoroughly test the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC, highlight its pros and cons based on the test results, and then express my personal opinion. Let's get started!

Appearance
Now let's take a look at the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC's design. Let's start with the main unit. As mentioned earlier, it houses a 315-watt motor, delivering up to 26,000 Pa of suction power. The battery is removable, which is a plus. It also has a charging port, allowing you to charge the battery separately from the vacuum.
As you've noticed, the vacuum cleaner doesn't have a traditional trigger. It's turned on and off using a button located on the end. Two more mechanical buttons for adjusting suction power are conveniently located nearby. The controls are convenient, with the thumb-friendly control panel allowing for one-handed operation.
The display at the top shows the battery percentage and the selected operating mode. There are three modes: Eco, Standard, and Turbo.
The vacuum cleaner's dust container empties with the press of a button. It's completely removable, which is a plus.
The dust collector has a two-stage filtration system: a HEPA filter and a mesh filter. The top cover is removable, housing a second foam filter.
The main floor nozzle features a swivel joint for increased maneuverability. A front LED light illuminates the cleaning area. A fluffy roller for hard floors is included with the box. A replaceable carpet roller with short bristles can be installed instead.
Additional standard attachments are suitable for spot cleaning and collecting debris in hard-to-reach places.
We assemble the vacuum cleaner and here's what it looks like when fully assembled:
It's worth noting that the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC can be stored vertically outside of the wall mount. This is convenient. And you can see how convenient it is to store the included attachments on the vacuum cleaner itself.
Overall, I have no complaints about the build quality, especially considering the price segment of the vacuum cleaner.
Technical specifications
The main characteristics of the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC, as stated by the manufacturer, are displayed on the screen:
- Power consumption: 315 W.
- Suction power up to 26 kPa.
- Li-Ion battery 2500 mAh.
- Dust collector 0.7 l.
- Operating time up to 45 min.
- Noise level 77-80 dB.
- Weight when fully assembled: 2.28 kg.
Overall, the specifications are standard for this price segment. I personally measured the vacuum cleaner's noise level, which is between 77-80 dB, which is quite standard.
The main unit weighs 1,388 grams, the extension tube weighs 259 grams, and the main floor nozzle weighs 752 grams. The fully assembled vacuum weighs 2,399 grams, making it slightly lighter than most similar vacuums.
Testing
A detailed video review of the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:
Opening hours
And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC's battery life in Turbo mode with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed 11 minutes and 43 seconds of runtime, which is pretty standard.
Please note that the vacuum cleaner can operate significantly longer at minimum and medium power settings, while in domestic conditions the Turbo mode is usually used briefly for heavy dirt.
Suction power
In terms of suction power, the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC was able to vacuum up to 6 mm of crevices at its lowest setting. At medium power, it removed debris from all crevices, including some 10 mm deep. In turbo mode, it completely removed debris from crevices. This power is sufficient for household cleaning.
Collecting debris on laminate flooring
Now let's test how well the Teqqo Powerstick BASIC picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate flooring: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This device performed well. It's important to note that it has no trouble picking up debris along baseboards and in corners. It picks everything up thoroughly. No hair or lint gets caught in the roller. All debris is collected in the dust bin. Test passed!
Carpet cleaning
The same debris was scattered on a low-pile carpet, and the vacuum cleaner performed just as well with the carpet roller attached. It thoroughly cleaned the carpet.
The vacuum also cleans medium-pile carpets well; the roller doesn't get stuck and the vacuum doesn't go into error mode. This type of roller picks up fur and hair.
Cleaning the dust collector
Finally, I'll tell you how to clean the dust bin. Press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. Hair and fur may get stuck in the bin. In this case, you can remove the dust bin, remove the filtration system, and shake out the remaining contents without touching the debris.
Personal opinion
The Teqqo Powerstick BASIC upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight its pros and cons, then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:
- High-quality waste collection without blind spots on any surface, including carpets.
- Informative display on the body.
- Illumination of the cleaning area in the floor nozzle.
- Removable battery.
- Removable dust collector.
- The vacuum cleaner supports vertical parking outside the wall holder.
- Increased dust collector capacity.
- Light weight vacuum cleaner.
- Ergonomic design. The vacuum cleaner is easy to operate with one hand.
- You can store additional attachments directly on the tube.
- Availability of warranty and service.
Regarding the shortcomings, the following comments were identified during testing:
- There's no turbo brush attachment for cleaning upholstery and mattresses. It's worth noting that this is due to the package option. The Teqqo Powerstick line includes an extended package with this attachment.
- Weak filtration system. Only 3 stages, while some similar products may have 4 or even 5 filtration stages, including two HEPA filters: a pre-motor filter and a blower filter.
- Charging on a wall mount is not provided.
Overall, the vacuum cleaner is good for the price and accomplishes its primary purpose without any issues. The main issue is the filtration system, but the key is the HEPA filter, which will trap dust particles and allergens. So, overall, there are no criticisms, and the vacuum cleaner is recommended.
On this note, I'd like to end this review. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
