Equipment

The kit is good. There are a variety of attachments for different tasks, which is a plus!

Appearance

Now let's take a look at the MIKO V15's design. Let's start with the main unit. It's finished in graphite with red accents. It houses a 500-watt motor, delivering up to 30,000 Pa of suction power.

Main block

The vacuum cleaner is turned on and off by pressing the trigger button. There's no need to hold it down. An informative display on top shows the battery percentage, the selected operating mode, service messages, and a power level indicator light.

The modes are switched by a touch button. The vacuum cleaner has three power levels: medium, turbo, and eco. The battery is removable, which is very convenient.

Removable battery

The battery can be charged on a wall mount using special terminals, or manually by connecting the power adapter to the vacuum cleaner. The connector is located on the battery itself. The battery can also be charged separately from the vacuum cleaner.

The removable dust container is a plus. The filtration system uses a composite filter, a cyclone, and a mesh. The container opens with a press of a release button. The debris falls out through the opening lid, which serves as the bottom of the flask. It's important to note that another filter, a HEPA filter, is located at the end of the main unit.

The main floor nozzle features a swivel joint for increased maneuverability. A front LED light illuminates the cleaning area. A fluffy roller for hard floors is included with the box. A replaceable carpet roller with short bristles can be installed instead.

Main floor nozzle

A wet cleaning reservoir like this one attaches to the main floor nozzle. It's held in place by magnets and holds up to 300 ml of water. The cleaning cloth is attached to the nozzle with Velcro. Water flows to the cleaning cloth by gravity through dispensers. This design allows the MIKO V15 to be used for both dry and wet cleaning simultaneously.

Let's take a look at the additional attachments included. The mini turbo brush can be used for cleaning upholstered furniture, mattresses, and removing dust mites. As mentioned earlier, this attachment is equipped with a UV lamp and surface detection sensors. The lamp only turns on when the attachment comes into contact with the surface. I can't test its effectiveness, but it's worth mentioning. The roller is equipped with flexible bristles and can be easily removed by hand without any tools. Very convenient.

The standard furniture brush is suitable for picking up light debris, as well as pet hair and fur. It's ideal for curtains and soft fabrics. It comes with both a standard crevice tool and a slightly upgraded crevice tool with a brush. Both are suitable for picking up debris in hard-to-reach areas. The soft-bristled tool is ideal for picking up debris on delicate surfaces. The flexible hose is perfect for cleaning car interiors, and the bendable connector is ideal for cleaning under low furniture and, conversely, on shelves, on top of cabinets, and other furniture.

In general, as already mentioned, there are many attachments and they can be used to their full potential for household cleaning!

We assemble the vacuum cleaner and here's what it looks like when fully assembled:

Fully assembled

I'll note that this model doesn't have vertical parking outside of the wall mount. Overall, I have no complaints about the build quality. It looks stylish and is comfortable to hold. The only caveat is that you can't hold the vacuum cleaner and switch modes with one hand. You'll have to use your other hand to adjust the power.

Technical specifications

The main characteristics of the MIKO V15, as stated by the manufacturer, are displayed on the screen:

  • Suction power up to 30 kPa.
  • Li-Ion battery 2500 mAh.
  • Dust collector 680 ml.
  • Operating time up to 60 min.
  • Noise level 76.6-85 dB.
  • Weight when fully assembled: 2.28 kg.

Overall, the specifications are standard for this price segment. The only notable feature is the slightly larger dust bin compared to similar models.

I personally measured the vacuum cleaner's noise level. It ranged from 76.6 to 85 dB, which is slightly above the norm. However, the vacuum cleaner's increased power must also be taken into account.

The main unit weighs 1,670 grams, the extension tube 266 grams, and the main floor nozzle 603 grams. The fully assembled vacuum weighs 2,539 grams, which is quite standard.

Testing

A detailed video review of the Miko V15, including all tests, has already been prepared and published on the channel:

Opening hours

And finally, let's move on to the tests. First, let's check the MIKO V15's battery life in Turbo mode with the main floor nozzle attached. It managed to run for 10 minutes and 55 seconds, which is pretty much a standard result.

Please note that the vacuum cleaner can operate significantly longer at minimum and medium power settings, while in domestic conditions the Turbo mode is usually used briefly for heavy dirt.

Suction power

Regarding suction power, at the lowest setting, the Miko V15 was able to suck up debris from all crevices, including those 10 mm deep. However, it's worth noting that at the lowest setting, it only partially cleaned a 10 mm crevice, while at the medium setting, it completely accomplished the task. This vacuum cleaner's suction power is high and perfectly suitable for household use.

Collecting debris on laminate flooring

Now let's test how well the Miko V15 picks up floor debris. I scattered various types of debris on the laminate floor: hair, fur, grains, and other small household debris. This machine handled the task well. It's important to note that it has no trouble picking up debris along baseboards and in corners. It picks everything up thoroughly. No hair or lint gets caught in the roller. All debris is collected in the dust bin. Test passed!

Carpet cleaning

The same debris was scattered on a low-pile carpet, and the Miko V15 did an equally good job, thoroughly cleaning the carpet.

Carpet cleaning

The vacuum also cleans medium-pile carpets well; the roller doesn't jam, and the vacuum doesn't go into error mode. Incidentally, when cleaning the carpets, I used the roller attachment, and as you can see, this type of roller picked up pet hair and fur.

Using additional attachments

It's also worth noting that the additional attachments allow you to clean areas beyond the reach of the main nozzle, including car interiors, sofas, and under low furniture thanks to the flexible connector. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is suitable for a variety of applications.

Wet cleaning

Speaking of the wet cleaning attachment, it turns the Miko V15 into a mop with vacuum function. This is one of the vacuum cleaner's key features. Its design ensures maximum cleaning efficiency—you vacuum and then immediately wet mop the floor.

Cleaning the dust collector

Finally, I'll tell you how to clean the dust bin. Press the button, and all the debris falls out through the bottom. Hair and fur can sometimes get stuck in the bin. In this case, you can remove the dust bin, remove the filter system, and shake out the remaining contents without touching the debris. This is very convenient and a significant difference between the Miko V15 and all the other entry-level models in the line.

Personal opinion

The MIKO V15 upright vacuum cleaner was thoroughly reviewed and tested. I'll highlight its pros and cons, then share my personal opinion. I liked the following:

  1. High-quality waste collection without blind spots on any surface, including carpets.
  2. Increased suction power.
  3. Good filtration system.
  4. Informative display on the body.
  5. Illumination of the cleaning area in the floor nozzle.
  6. Availability of a variety of attachments for different purposes in household cleaning.
  7. A flexible connector that makes cleaning under low furniture easier.
  8. A water tank attached to the main nozzle allows you to vacuum and mop the floor at the same time.
  9. Removable battery.
  10. Removable dust collector.
  11. Increased dust collector capacity.
  12. Wireless charging on a wall holder.
  13. Warranty and service availability. Here, the manufacturer indicates that it has a certified service center that provides warranty and post-warranty service for its products.

It's also worth mentioning the UV lamp for removing dust mites, but I can't add this upgrade to the list of advantages, as its effectiveness cannot be determined in tests.

Speaking of comments, they're quite minor and can be considered nitpicks. Here are some of the points I discovered during the review:

  1. Vertical parking outside of the wall holder is not provided.
  2. There's no convenient way to store all the included attachments. Only two of them can be attached to the holder.
  3. To switch modes you need to use your other hand.

Overall, for the price, the Miko V15 is a truly interesting upright vacuum cleaner and definitely the best in the brand's lineup. Ideally, it would come with a polishing attachment like the one on the Miko V15. Miko V11, and then it would have a full range of the best features from previously released Miko upright vacuums. But even so, the vacuum cleaner deserves attention. It's effective, versatile, and convenient. What more could you want?

On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping. Bye!
