Hello to all readers of robovac.washerhouse.com! I received a rather interesting cordless vacuum cleaner, the Proscenic P11, for review. In addition to vacuuming, this device can also mop floors by attaching the wet cleaning module to the main brush. Furthermore, the Proscenic P11 automatically increases suction power when detecting carpet, saving battery power. The price of this vacuum cleaner at the time of writing is approximately $130-150, which is quite reasonable for this type of device. Below, I'll take a closer look at the vacuum's design and how it performs its primary function. So, let's get started!

Equipment

The Proscenic P11 arrived in a box like this:

  5. Wet cleaning module with a microfiber cloth installed.
  6. Soft bristle attachment.
  7. Crevice nozzle.

Overall, the package is good. I personally miss a spare HEPA filter and a replacement roller for hard floors, but otherwise, it includes the basic cleaning attachments and accessories.

Appearance

Now let's take a look at the Proscenic P11 handheld vacuum cleaner. It's finished in a dark gray, almost graphite-like color. The buttons are highlighted in red, making it easier to intuitively navigate the main unit's design.

The end section is equipped with a touch LED display for controlling power modes and indicating battery charge.

The battery charging terminals for the wall mount are located at the bottom. It's important to note that there's no separate charging port. There are ventilation holes on either side of the display.

The battery is removable, which is a plus:

The dust container is also easily removed for cleaning and maintenance. It houses a HEPA filtration system with a foam filter and a cyclone. The dust container itself holds up to 600 ml of dry waste.

The flask is marked with a MAX mark, which helps you visually assess when to empty the dust. The markings indicate that the entire filtration system can be rinsed with water; however, the filter elements must be completely dry before reinstalling. Additionally, the dust collector lid opens from the bottom and is secured with a latch.

The main cleaning brush, mini brush, and connecting tube are equipped with mechanical locks. Let's take a look at the included attachments.

The main brush features a swivel joint for increased ease of use. A front LED light provides more thorough cleaning in low-light areas. The brush itself is removed by releasing the side latch. It features bristle inserts of varying lengths and stiffness. This type of brush is best suited for cleaning carpeted floors.

As mentioned earlier, a wet cleaning module can be attached to the main brush. Here's what it looks like when assembled:

Let's take a closer look at this module. The reservoir holds up to 200 ml of water, which is poured from the top through a hole with a sealed valve. The module is attached to the main brush with a magnet, and the cleaning cloth itself is attached to the base with Velcro. Water flows to the cleaning cloth by gravity through two openings. The cleaning cloth itself is thicker than those included with robotic vacuum cleaners.

The mattress and upholstery cleaning attachment features a bristled turbo brush that can be removed by twisting a locking tab on the side. The build quality is quite affordable.

There's no point in looking at the other two attachments in the same way; here's what the vacuum cleaner looks like when they're installed:

Overall, the build quality of the Proscenic P11 is somewhere between budget and mid-range, as is the price of this cordless vacuum cleaner.

Technical specifications

The main characteristics of Proscenic P11, as declared by the manufacturer:

  • Power consumption 450 W.
  • Suction power up to 26000 Pa.
  • Li-Ion battery 2500 mAh.
  • Dust collector capacity is 600 ml.
  • Operating time up to 60 minutes in minimum power mode.
  • Weight when fully assembled: 2.8 kg.

Overall, the characteristics are quite standard, I can’t highlight anything special.

Testing

A detailed video review with all the tests has already been prepared and published on the channel. I recommend watching the video:

Battery life

The first thing I tested was the Proscenic P11's runtime at maximum suction power. This vacuum cleaner has three power modes: minimum, automatic, and maximum. At maximum power, it managed to run for 10 minutes and 40 seconds. This result is similar to most other handheld vacuums I've reviewed. For example, the closest equivalent Dreame T20 worked for the same amount of time at maximum power.

Noise level

Regarding noise levels, at minimum power, it ranges from 74-75 dB, and in Turbo mode, the noise level does not exceed 82 dB. The noise level is slightly higher than normal, and at maximum power, the motor begins to emit a low-frequency hum, which may cause slight discomfort during prolonged use of the Proscenic P11 at maximum power.

Suction power

The suction power is quite good, however. This vacuum cleaner was able to effectively suck up debris from crevices up to 8 mm deep and even managed to reach almost 10 mm. This is sufficient for everyday use and maintaining a clean home.

Quality of cleaning

There are no complaints about the dust collection performance on hard floors. The Proscenic P11 was able to clean the floor of pet hair, hair, and various household debris. It's important to note that there are no problem areas beyond the reach of the brush. The device even cleaned corners and the area along the baseboard. Hair got tangled in the brush, but it can be easily removed with the included cleaning tool. The majority of the debris is collected in the dust bin.

The Proscenic P11 also didn't raise any concerns when cleaning carpets. It vacuums carpets efficiently.

Carpet cleaningCarpet cleaning

Carpet cleaning

It's important to note, however, that the advertised automatic power boost feature doesn't work correctly when detecting a carpet. At least in my case. The vacuum cleaner operates in the same mode on carpets of varying pile heights. This is a serious concern, considering that this feature could be a key factor in choosing this particular model. It's all about the way it's implemented. For the power to increase, there needs to be sufficient resistance to the central brush, which is typical for fluffy carpets. But in my case, even on a fluffy carpet, the power didn't increase. However, if I pressed the brush lightly with my hand during operation, the suction increased. Overall, the feature is implemented, but it doesn't work as intended.

In addition, it is worth remembering that with the Proscenic P11 you can vacuum and mop the floor at the same time.

Simultaneous dry and wet cleaningSimultaneous dry and wet cleaning

Simultaneous dry and wet cleaning

It's an interesting solution in principle, but if there was an option to adjust the water flow rate, it would be absolutely fantastic. I just recommend not sweeping the brush too quickly across the floor, so as not to wet the cloth, which can hinder suction. It takes some getting used to.

Let's sum it up

So, we've reviewed the Proscenic P11 cordless vacuum cleaner. I'll tell you what I liked and didn't like about it. I'll start with the pros. The main ones are:

  1. Availability of a module for wiping the floor.
  2. Good performance of the main brush.
  3. Removable battery.
  4. The quality of waste collection is above average, both on hard surfaces and on carpets.
  5. Informative LED display on the body.
  6. Optimal price.

As for drawbacks, the main one is, of course, the underdeveloped carpet recognition system. This has spoiled the overall impression of the product. Otherwise, compared to similar products, the Proscenic P11 is inferior only in the following areas:

  1. There is no provision for adjusting the water supply level to the napkin.
  2. There is no replacement roller for hard surfaces such as laminate or parquet.

Perhaps these comments won't be too critical for some. It's worth noting that the vacuum cleaner does its primary job well, and for the price, it's competitive on the market, even without the carpet booster feature. Although, if it did work, it would be another plus, and therefore a minus point.

On that note, I'd like to end this review. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
