The Best Upright Vacuum Cleaners of 2024 – 2025: Top 10 for Different Conditions
Hello to all readers of the project! This video ranking examines the best upright wet vacuum cleaners of 2024 (as of October), and likely even early 2025. Major brands have unveiled all their new products, and after testing almost all of them, I've compiled a top 10 list of models. Five wet vacuum cleaners with dry attachments, which is trending these days, and five wet vacuum cleaners designed exclusively for floor cleaning. A brief overview of the characteristics and features, as well as test results, will help you choose the best option for your needs and budget. So, let's get started!
Top 5 Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaners
Dreame H14 Dual
- Price: $600-$650.
- Li-Ion battery, 4900 mAh
- Power consumption: 380 W
- Suction power: up to 18000 Pa
- Working time: up to 40/70 min
- Clean water tank: 880 ml
- Dirty water tank: 650 ml
- Detergent tank: 120 ml.
- Self-cleaning temperature: 60 degrees
- Roller drying temperature: 60 degrees
- Noise level: 72-86 dB
- Weight: 6 kg / 2.9 kg.
The rating opens with, in my opinion, the best washing upright vacuum cleaner of 2024 – Dreame H14 Dual.
The new product went on sale in October. This vacuum cleaner boasts high-quality floor cleaning and dirt removal, a roller extending to the edge of the housing on both sides, high-quality self-cleaning with hot water, and super-fast roller drying with warm air. It also features automatic detergent mixing from a separate tank, a 180-degree tilt angle for cleaning under furniture, a lighting system for the cleaning area, in-wheel motors for easy control, and the ability to flexibly customize cleaning parameters in the app. The Dreame H14 Dual also boasts high suction power, a multi-level disinfection system, voice alerts in Russian, and an ergonomic design. In tests, the device performed well both for floor cleaning and dry vacuuming. There are few criticisms, and given its advanced features, it ranks top in my ratings.
Roborock Dyad Pro Combo
- Price: $460-$600
- Power consumption: 260 W.
- Suction power: up to 17000 Pa
- Operating time: up to 43/up to 60 min
- Clean water tank: 950 ml
- Dirty water tank: 770 ml
- Dust collector: 465 ml.
- Drying temperature for rollers: 50 degrees.
- Noise level: 71-81 dB
- Weight: 5.5 kg/2.7 kg.
The silver medalist is a wet/dry stick vacuum cleaner, released back in 2023, which provided serious competition to Dreame's new product. It's even arguably better than the top-ranked model in some key areas: the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo.
Its cleaning module consists of three rollers, two of which extend to the edge of the unit for thorough cleaning along baseboards without leaving any blind spots. It removes dirt faster and cleans floors just as well. It also comes with a set of dry cleaning attachments and app control. It features automatic detergent dispensing, Russian voice commands in the localized version, and, of course, full hot-air drying. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo performed well in tests, demonstrating strong suction power, effective debris pickup on various surfaces, and, of course, a high-quality, streak-free floor cleaning. So, it's definitely worth considering as an alternative to the Dreame.
For those interested, I compared both washing vacuum cleaners in a separate article: https://robovac.washerhouse.com/en/sravnenie/dreame-h14-dual-i-robovac-roborock-dyad-pro-combo.html.
Let's move on!
Jimmy HW11 Pro Max
- Price: $500.
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4600 mAh.
- Power: 500 W.
- Suction power 125 AW.
- Working time: 20-80 min.
- Clean water tank: 600 ml.
- Dirty water tank: 400 ml.
- Dust collector: 300 ml
- The weight of the handheld vacuum cleaner is 1.37 kg.
- Weight of the washing vacuum cleaner: 4.6 kg.
- Noise level: 72.5-81.5 dB.
Another new product, the Jimmy HW11 Pro Max, is among the top three.
In addition to a set of dry cleaning attachments, this upright wet/dry vacuum boasts an effective cleaning module with two rollers positioned at the edge, ensuring a thorough cleaning of floors. A water spray nozzle is positioned in front of the rollers, helping to dissolve stains on the floor and speed up dirt removal. Another key feature is the 180-degree tilt angle, making it suitable for cleaning floors under furniture. It also features Russian-language voice prompts and an automatic mode. Like similar vacuum cleaners, it features effective self-cleaning and warm-air drying of the rollers. A special carpet roller can be purchased separately if needed. In tests, the Jimmy HW11 Pro Max performed well in both floor cleaning and dry cleaning, making it worthy of consideration and a place in the top 10.
Dreame H12 Dual
- Price: $450-500.
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4000 mAh
- Power consumption: 300 W
- Working time: up to 35 min / up to 60 min
- Clean water tank: 900 ml
- Dirty water tank: 700 ml
- Noise level: 69.5-73 dB
Fourth place goes to another upright vacuum cleaner with dry cleaning attachments from Dreame. The device is called Dreame H12 Dual.
It went on sale back in 2023 and remains popular. Interest is driven by its lower price than the flagship model, while delivering comparable floor cleaning and dry vacuuming performance. The cleaning module consists of a single roller extending out from both sides of the unit. It features an automatic power boost mode that detects dirt, a warm-air roller drying function, and dry vacuum attachments. However, there's no carpet attachment included, so this model is primarily suitable for cleaning hard floors. In tests, the Dreame H12 Dual demonstrated excellent dirt removal and equally effective dirt collection on hard floors. Therefore, if you're on a budget and can't afford a new model, the 2023 flagship is a good alternative.
Tineco Floor ONE S7 Combo
- Price: ≈$850 .
- Battery: Li-Ion, 3900 mAh
- Power consumption: 290 W
- Operating time: up to 65 min
- Clean water tank: 850 ml
- Dirty water tank: 720 ml
- Dust collector: 200 ml.
- Noise level: up to 78 dB
Rounding out the top 5 is the Tineco Floor ONE S7 Combo. It's the only wet/dry vacuum cleaner in the ranking that I didn't have time to test. However, after reviewing its capabilities, analyzing reviews, and relying on my experience testing Tineco products, I believe this model deserves a spot in the ranking.
The Tineco Floor ONE S7 Combo features a roller extending out from both sides of the body, steering wheels, a water sterilization function in the tank, and a lighting system for the cleaning area. The dry cleaning nozzle features a hair-untangling system for the turbo brush. There are also attachments for spot cleaning. It boasts high suction power and an automatic power boost mode. Overall, it's a functional wet/dry vacuum cleaner from a trusted brand. The only problem is that it's not officially sold in Russia, so you'll have to order it from abroad. There's also no warranty. And the price, listed on the official website, is far from budget-friendly. That's why it's ranked fifth compared to similar products.
TOP 5 standard-design washing vacuum cleaners
We've covered convertible wet/dry vacuum cleaners, now let's look at more traditional upright wet/dry vacuum cleaners. They're less expensive and are used exclusively for floor cleaning.
By the way, a video version of the ranking has already been published on our channel! If you're interested, you can watch the TOP 10 in video format:
Bork V810
- Price: $1,260.
- Battery: 7400 mAh.
- Suction power: 16800 Pa.
- Vacuum cleaner power: 680 W.
- Working time: up to 75 min.
- Clean water tank: 820 ml.
- Dirty water tank: 720 ml.
- Noise level: up to 65 dB.
- Weight: 5.7 kg.
The best upright vacuum cleaner without any attachments that I tested in 2024 is Bork V810.
Its price is certainly sky-high, and so is its design. But it has a number of design features that stand out from its premium counterparts. Namely, a separate steam cleaning function, or, in other words, "goodbye, parquet." Just kidding, it's an interesting solution and works effectively when cleaning tiles. When the special mode is activated, steam is released through four holes. The temperature is set to 110 degrees Celsius. It also has an automatic detergent dispenser, a full-function hot-air roller dryer, a function for disinfecting clean water in the tank, and a function for drying the surface behind the cleaning module. So, you wash the floor, and it's immediately dry. In tests, the Bork V810 demonstrated high-quality floor cleaning and the ability to remove even stubborn stains in a short period of time. I should note that the roller extends close to the edge of the unit, leaving virtually no blind spot. Therefore, overall, for me, this is the best upright vacuum cleaner in terms of ergonomics, features, floor cleaning quality, and design. But, of course, it is not the most optimal in terms of price and quality.
Dreame H13 Pro
- Price: $460-$600.
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4900 mAh.
- Power consumption: 300 W.
- Suction power: up to 18,000 Pa.
- Working time: up to 45 min.
- Clean water tank: 900 ml.
- Dirty water tank: 700 ml.
- Noise level: 73-75 dB.
A much more interesting ratio of functionality to price is Dreame H13 Pro.
The 2024 model features a backlit cleaning area, steering wheels, effective self-cleaning with hot water, and quick drying with hot air. The cleaning module itself is a single roller that spans the entire width of the body on both sides. There are some blind spots on the sides, but they are minimal. High suction power is claimed, judging by the specifications. Two levels of disinfection are available: in the clean water tank and in the roller itself. In tests, the Dreame H13 Pro demonstrated high-quality floor cleaning, similar to its peers. Therefore, given its functionality, efficiency, and price, it's a runner-up in the rankings, but for many, it will likely be a top-ranked model, given the price of a true leader.
Roborock Flexi Pro
- Price: $450-600.
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4000 mAh
- Power consumption: 260 W.
- Suction power: up to 17000 Pa
- Charging time up to 4 hours
- Working time: up to 50 min
- Clean water tank: 730 ml
- Dirty water tank: 450 ml
- Noise level: 72-74 dB
Again, an alternative to Dreame from a competing brand, Roborock, is the new Roborock Flexi Pro.
I also compared these two washing vacuum cleaners: https://robovac.washerhouse.com/en/sranenie/roborock-flexi-pro-i-robovac-dreame-h13-pro.html.
The Roborock Flexi Pro vacuum cleaner's key advantage is its 180-degree tilt angle and the ability to customize cleaning parameters in the app. It also boasts high suction power, illuminated cleaning area, in-wheel motors, and voice prompts in Russian (in the localized version). Test results are good, including both floor cleaning and scrubbing. However, unlike the Dyad series, the Flexi Pro has a blind spot near the baseboard, albeit a small one. Overall, the vacuum cleaner is convenient, stylish, and high-quality, based on the brand's reliability and experience in vacuum cleaner development. Therefore, it is definitely recommended.
Roborock Dyad Pro
- Price: $350-$400.
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4000 mAh.
- Power consumption: 260 W.
- Suction power: up to 17000 Pa.
- Charging time up to 4 hours.
- Operating time: up to 43 min.
- Clean water tank: 900 ml.
- Dirty water tank: 770 ml.
- Noise level: 72-77 dB (-3 dB).
Another Roborock in the ranking is the model Dyad ProThis is the brand's alternative approach to floor cleaning.
The Roborock Dyad Pro's roller presses tightly against baseboards and furniture, effectively removing dirt thanks to three rollers in its cleaning module. This means it has a fundamentally different design. It also features an automatic detergent dispenser, something the new Flexi Pro lacks. However, the tilt angle is smaller—around 140 degrees—and there's no backlight. Among the Roborock Dyad Pro's useful features, it features hot-air drying, automatic power boost when dirt is detected, and connectivity to the proprietary mobile app for flexible cleaning settings. Floor cleaning and dirt removal performance are similar, with the exception of the absence of a blind spot. The result is an efficient, smart, and high-quality vacuum cleaner released in 2023 that can still compete with newer products.
Redkey W13
- Price: $240-270.
- Battery: Li-Ion, 4200 mAh.
- Power consumption: 200 W.
- Suction power: 17500 Pa.
- Working time: up to 45 min.
- Noise level: 75-77 dB.
- Clean water tank: 0.7 l.
- Dirty water tank: 0.9 l.
- Weight: 4.5 kg.
Rounding out our top 10 is the Redkey W13. It's the oldest upright vacuum cleaner in the brand's lineup.
Its advantage is its more competitive price compared to similar models. This doesn't negatively impact floor cleaning performance—its suction power is even higher than some other models in the ranking. Its runtime is also on par with competitors in a more expensive segment. So, if you don't need a 180-degree tilt angle, you can confidently choose this model without overpaying. The roller, positioned at the edge of the body, effectively removes dirt and cleans floors with a minimal blind spot at the baseboard—just 3 mm, compared to 5 to 8 mm for similarly positioned rollers. The roller also features quick drying and a self-cleaning base. The vacuum cleaner has a removable battery, which is a distinct advantage over its competitors. It also features a user-friendly display that displays all information. Spare accessories and consumables are included. There are no complaints about the floor cleaning performance—it cleans well, leaving no streaks or marks. Therefore, if your budget is limited, this washing vacuum cleaner will be an equally interesting option to purchase.
So, we've reviewed the best upright vacuum cleaners of 2024. I hope you were able to find the perfect option for your needs and budget from these 10 models. I'd appreciate a subscription and a like, as well as a comment on which upright vacuum cleaner you liked best and why. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
