Interchangeability of consumables for Dreame robotic vacuum cleaners: what's compatible with what?
Hello everyone! Together with a Dreame representative, we've prepared a very useful overview for the audience of robovac.washerhouse.com, in which I'll tell you about the interchangeability of consumables for Dreame robot vacuum cleaners. If you're wondering how to replace a brush, HEPA filter, bag, or cloths, but can't find the right accessory online that's specifically for your robot, you can solve the problem by knowing which other models the consumables are compatible with. The company installs the same type of consumables in different series and models of robots. Below, I'll review the most popular consumables, including part numbers and compatibility with different robot models. Let's get started!
HEPA filters
The most important consumable in robotic vacuum cleaners is the HEPA filter. It's important to change it regularly to ensure the robot lasts a long time and delivers high-quality cleaning without losing power. The Dreame line features four popular HEPA filter types, with the following part numbers:
- RHF5
- RHF8
- RHF14
- RHF21
All filters vary in shape and size, so they are not interchangeable. Let's look at each one separately. The RHF5 HEPA filter looks like this:
For those who care about the filter size, it is 150*49*14 mm.
I have listed the Dreame robot vacuum cleaner models that are compatible with this HEPA filter.
- F10 Plus
- D10s Plus
- D10 Plus Gen 2
- D20
- D20 Pro
- D20 Plus
- L10s Pro Gen 2
- L10s Pro
- L10s Plus
- L10 Prime
- L10 Ultra
- L10s Ultra
The next type of HEPA filter is sold under the part number RHF8. Dimensions are 113 x 39 x 14 mm. Only two Dreame robot vacuum cleaners are compatible with it: L20 Ultra Complete And L30 Ultra.
The third version of the HEPA filter has the article number RHF14 with dimensions of 96*44*20 mm.
It is installed in the following Dreame robot vacuum cleaners:
- D20 Ultra
- L10s Pro Ultra Heat
- L40 Ultra CE
- L40 Ultra AE
- X40 Ultra Complete
Well, the HEPA filter RHF21, the size of which is 110*48*22 mm, is installed in such new Dreame products as L40s Ultra, L40s Pro Ultra, X50 Ultra Complete, X50 Master.
Napkins
Now that we've covered the filters, the next consumable item to replace is the wet cleaning cloths. There are also four different versions, each with a non-interchangeable design and part numbers:
- RMP8
- RMP9
- RMP10
- RMP18
The most popular type of napkins are round rotating ones, which have the article number RMP8.
These cloths are compatible with a large number of Dreame robot vacuum cleaners, a list of which you can see below:
- D20 Ultra
- L10s Pro Gen 2
- L10s Plus
- L10 Prime
- L10 Ultra
- L10s Ultra
- L10s Pro Ultra Heat
- L20 Ultra Complete
- L30 Ultra
- L40 Ultra CE
- L40 Ultra AE
- L40s Ultra
- L40s Pro Ultra
- X40 Ultra Complete
- X50 Ultra Complete
- X50 Master
A standard straight napkin with a pocket is produced under the article number RMP9.
It can be installed on the following Dreame robot vacuum cleaner models:
- F9 Pro
- F10
- D9 Max
- D9 Max gen2
- D10s
- D10s Pro
There is also a similar cloth RMP10, but with a cutout for holes for self-cleaning robots.
It is compatible with four Dreame self-cleaning robot vacuum cleaners, namely F10 Plus, D9 Plus, D10 plus gen 2 and D10s Plus.
There's also a cleaning cloth with the part number RMP18. Its distinctive feature is that instead of pockets, the front part has a cord that fits into the groove of the cleaning cloth holder. This version is compatible with Dreame robots such as the D20, D20 Plus, and D20 Pro.
Bags
Moving on! The garbage bags at the station are marketed as disposable. Once full, they're removed, thrown in the trash, and a new one installed. However, experience shows that bags are only replaced when they're practically full of holes; before that, they're simply scooped out with tweezers and tossed in the trash. So, if you've damaged a bag or conscientiously decided to replace it when it's full, according to Dreame representatives, all bags are interchangeableThe design of the seat is the same, only the volume of the bag and the material from which it is made differ: cardboard or plastic.
I have listed the article numbers of the bags and the models corresponding to each article number:
RDB1:
- D9 Plus
- D10 Plus
RDB3:
- L10 Ultra
- L10s Ultra
- L20 Ultra Complete
- L30 Ultra
RDB4:
- D10s Plus
RDB8:
- D20 Ultra
- L10s Pro Ultra
- L40 Ultra CE
- L40 Ultra AE
- L40s Ultra
- L40s Pro Ultra
- X40 Ultra complete
- X50 Ultra Complete
- X50 Master
RDB10:
- F10 Plus
- D10 Plus Gen 2
- L10s Plus
RDB17:
- D20 Plus
Let me repeat, apparently, you can order any bag and install it in any of the robots.
Side brushes
There are at least six types of side brushes, each with part numbers: RSB7, RSB8, RSB9, RSB10, RSB14, and RSB17. Side brushes vary in color, brush length, brush angle, mounting location, and mounting method.
In my opinion, the first 4 design options are interchangeable, since both the side brush's arm length and mounting location are the same. The differences lie in the proportions of the silicone body of the brush and the bristles. In some places, the brushes are longer and there's less silicone, while in others, it's the other way around.
Let's look at the part numbers of the side brushes and the Dreame robot vacuum cleaner models that are EXACTLY compatible with them.
This is what the side brush with article number RSB7 looks like:
The following Dreame robot vacuum cleaners are compatible with it:
- F9 Pro
- F10 Plus
- D9 Max
- D9 Plus
- D10s
- D10 Plus
- D10 Plus Gen 2
The side brush (SKU RSB8) has longer bristles with the same overall beam length. This side brush is compatible with Dreame robot vacuums such as the L10 Prime, L10 Ultra, and L10s Ultra.
The side brush with part number RSB9, in my opinion, is identical to the RSB8, only in a different color. This color and design is compatible with the following Dreame robot vacuums:
- D9 Plus
- D20 Ultra
- L10s Pro
- L10s Pro Gen 2
- L10s Plus
- L10s Pro Ultra Heat
- L20 Ultra Complete
- L30 Ultra
- L40 Ultra CE
- L40 Ultra AE
Well, and slightly different in design and beam construction, but with a similar mounting location, is the side brush with article number RSB10.
It is compatible with the following Dreame robot vacuum cleaners:
- F10
- D9 Max
- D9 Max gen 2
- D10s Pro
- D10s Plus
- D20
- D20 Plus
The completely different side brush design is released under the part number RSB14. It is compatible with the 2024 flagship and the 2025 new models, namely the Dreame X40 Ultra Complete, L40s Ultra, L40s Pro Ultra, X50 Ultra Complete, and X50 Master.
The last of the brushes received the article number RSB17 and it is compatible only with the Dreame D20 Pro, as far as I know.
Central brushes
The next consumable item in line is the central brush. Currently, there are four main variants: RMB2, RMSRB0, RMB10, and RMB13. And here's an interesting point. Part number RMB13 refers to turbo brushes that work in pairs. These are installed on new 2025 models and are not compatible with other Dreame robot models, as they have only one central brush instead of two.
List of robots with dual turbo brushes:
- D20
- D20 Pro
- D20 Plus
- L40s Ultra
- L40s Pro Ultra
- X50 Ultra Complete
- X50 Master
The other three turbo brushes are interchangeable, which is very convenient, as you can customize your robot vacuum to suit your specific needs. It's important to note that the basic bristle-and-petal brush (part number RMB2) comes with a frame with rods, and to install other brushes, you'll need to replace the frames as well. Alternatively, you can cut off the rods so they don't interfere with the brush's rotation. To replace a silicone brush with a bladed one, or vice versa, you don't need to change the frames. Everything works perfectly as is.
Now, regarding the brushes themselves, the bristle-petal turbo brush under the article number RMB2 is compatible by default with the following models of Dreame robot vacuum cleaners:
- F9 Pro
- D9 Pro
- D9 Max
- D9 Plus
- D10 Plus
- L10 Pro
The silicone turbo brush is installed in a larger number of Dreame robots, all of which are listed below:
- F10
- F10 Plus
- D9 Max gen 2
- D10 Plus Gen 2
- D10s
- D10s Pro
- D10s Plus
- D20 Ultra
- L10s Pro
- L10s Pro Gen 2
- L10s Plus
- L10 Prime
- L10 Ultra
- L10s Ultra
- L10s Pro Ultra Heat
- L20 Ultra Complete
- L30 Ultra
- L40 Ultra CE
- L40 Ultra AE
- X40 Ultra Complete
The proprietary turbo brush with blades is optional. It's not included in any Dreme robot vacuum out of the box and was originally designed for the 2024 flagship Dreame X40 Ultra Complete. Therefore, it can be installed in all robot vacuums that come with a silicone turbo brush.
Modules for connection to sewerage and water supply
The last accessory that's important to mention in this review is the module for connecting to the sewer and water supply. There are currently three of these in the RAW4, RAW6, and RAW7 lineup. Only Dreame engineers know what happened to the RAW5. The Dreame RAW4's design is significantly different from the RAW6 and 7. Compatibility is out of the question.
But according to other sources, the RAW6 and RAW7 modules are interchangeable. That is, RAW6 functions perfectly with the models for which RAW7 was designed, but I don't know the differences.
Below I have listed which modules are designed for which robot models by Dreame:
RAW4:
- L20 Ultra Complete
- L30 Ultra
RAW6:
- L10s Pro Ultra Heat
- L40 Ultra CE
- L40 Ultra AE
- L40s Ultra
- L40s Pro Ultra
- X40 Ultra Complete
RAW7:
- L40s Ultra
- L40s Pro Ultra
- X50 Ultra Complete
That's all I have for you. I hope you found this information useful. If I missed any robot models or accessories, please let me know in the comments.
Happy shopping everyone. Bye!
